The droid possesses an exceptional awareness of standardised repairs and has knowledge of how to weld and repair multiple alloys and base metals, however the Designation 6428 lacks a keen knowledge of how to properly restore expensive and complex electronics from after his manufacturing year, with his datalogs requiring update before such work can be done.
WED-15 also lacks an integral hull with a dense alloy, creating a very vulernable situation for Designation 6428 if combat is ever initiated with a single blaster shot being more then capable of shattering his frame and his internal servos. BIOGRAPHY:
WED-15 Designation 6428 was one of the many WED-15 Repair Droids sent to the research station classed as “Cellular Research Station 6” Designation 6428 was given the duty of standardised repairs to the hull of the station, a simplistic task that allowed the Repair Droid to simply hibernate during its off times until security protocol commenced the activation sequence. One day as the lights flickered on and off, Designation 6428 had wheeled out of its charging station, the station was in disaster, with the majority of the crew either dead or missing and the hull leading out into space, with panels on the ground missing. WED-15 spent the next 50 years of its time working on repairing the station, alone. With frequent attempts to try and reactivate the other repair droids only meeting with failure. The repair droid Designated 6428 was alone. With attempts now focused on some of the stations more unique droids, yet with the work of the station still vital. It has been a long, long task.
