Atrisians. Suffice to say Siobhan did not like that particular nation much these days. What with them allying with the abortive Sith Axis that never got off ground but conspired to wipe out the Protectorate whilst she and Tegaea ruled, and Empress Madeline Kahoshi carrying out genocide to wipe out Atrisia's force-users after Akio got blown up by terrorists. Not to mention the hell the aforementioned Akio Kahoshi and Inquisitor Lai had put [member="Mirien Valdier"], her Force Bond sister, through whilst she served the Inquisition.
A group of force-users forced to serve the Atrisian State as their assassins and magical secret police under pain of death. Mirien had been their Grand Inquisitor, before being cast out and declared a traitor as a result of the Kahoshi's madness. Atrisia's hatred of force-users made it terribly ironic that way back when the CIS decided to drop Lucrehulks on the planet for no other reason than spite, it had been mages who averted disaster by chucking them into the mountains near the Imperial Palace, Siobhan Kerrigan being one of those that combined their powers in a force meld to save the planet.
She stood at the edge of proceedings, very much a peripheral actor. Mainly here because she was a friend to the Mandalorians, though not personally that familiar with the happy couple. Aditya she had briefly met on Schesa, Preliat she knew by reputation. Trouble was not something on her mind, she wished them well. After all, married life had been good for her! Besides, she had heard there would be cake. Her cane was still at her side, much to her annoyance, though she still carried herself with poise and control, likewise an element of haughtiness. Her dark brown mane was elegantly done up and she wore a magnificient blue and silver dress, with her lightsabre tied to an elegant belt, whilst her feet were tucked into a fine pair of heels.
Bionic eyes swept over the hall as she noticed the figure dressed in Shogun armour. Her jaw tightened at the sight as thoughts ran through her mind. Back in her day Sio had kept a good watch on Atrisia, along with Fringe, and she knew that was the armour Kahoshi had commissioned for himself. Unless it had been sold on the black market in the chaos after Madeline turned Atrisia into a totalitarian hellhole.
Thought he was dead. Shame he isn't. Wonder what he was doing all the time after his failure forced his people under Fringe tyranny and Madeline's oppression. Wonder why anyone would want such an incompetent as emperor again after how he screwed up last time, she thought to herself scathingly. She remembered the failed invasion of Fondor quite well.
At least Madeline did a better job at ruling.
However, there was something else she sensed and so she reached out with the Force. Contrary to popular belief, having space magic did not make you omniscient and Siobhan had never excelled at Force Sense, unlike say Mirien or the master empath Coryth. However, there was no mistaking in this case, and she sensed the Force emanating from him.
Oh, so you're a forcer and it's OK for you to oppress all the others on Atrisia, treat Mirien like your personal slave, all the whilst yammering about restoring the 'glory' of an Empire founded by Sith for Sith and built on lies? How ironic. I wonder how you'd feel about being implanted with an X4-2 Biological Threat Containment System? She imagined Mirien would be.
..interested in learning about this. Presumably the Atrisian plebs did not know about it either. As these thoughts run through her mind, Siobhan took a sip from her glass of champagne, savouring the taste. A waitress came over with a tray and Siobhan helped herself to a piece of apple cake.
