Strengths:
- Heavy Ion Cannon: Pulled from the wrecks of capital ships twice their size, cut down and heavily modified, the Ion Cannons lodged to the tops of these little saucers were deadly and even in small numbers could do the same amount of damage as a wing of Y-wings with ion torpedoes.
- Unpredictable: With maneuvering jets strapped to the edges of the saucer and its natural inclination to spin while in flight, the saucer was difficult to hit and had a very small, thin silhouette when dogfighting
- Chop Shop Horror: With extra engines, maneuvering jets, and a massive ion cannon grafted onto the ageing shuttle many of the things that made the Weequay Battle-Disk an extremely deadly pirate ship were also haphazardly strapped on and easily damaged or prone to sudden failures.
- External Power: Because of the cramped space inside with a pilot, co-pilot, and gunner much of the extra power cells and doodads needed to be placed and wired to the outside of the attack craft. Blowing up the small generators often caused chain explosions.
- Target: When doing advanced maneuvers the disk's silhouette became an incredibly easy target due to its exposed top or bottom.
The Weequay Battle-Disk was less of a standard design and more of an artform, tightly guarded by the Weequay community but happily sold. Despite their junked up appearance, some of these ships sold for millions of credits each, though many of the ones seen in pirate hordes were not the artistic vision the Weequay upheld and thus sold for much less. The Mandalorian pirate Kyra Quez was known to utilize the ships in her own pirate group. The ship was unique for requiring a crew of three and being able to hold small amounts of cargo like bags or small footlockers.
