Welcome to Hudrel Robotics [One Sith]

| [member="Darth Ferus"] | [member="Darth Arcanix"] | [member="Darth Venefica"] | [member="Yvette Dusong"] |

It had been one week since the One Sith and their dominion over Balmorra. Bin Prime still showed the signs of the riots that had broken out across the capital city. Shops, houses and public areas remained boarded up and shut down from the damage caused to them. The majority were still in this state of disrepair, for their owners had not returned. It was likely that they were one of the millions that had disappeared over night, in the event that had sparked the hysteria that had never made Balmorra destroy itself.

During the chaos, Hudrel Robotics had been brought by an entrepreneur by the name of Alicia Drey. With the Okara Droid Factory and Troida Military Workshop now under ownership of the droid manufacturing corporation, Hudrel found itself on a new world. Balmorra had changed in such a short space of time. Now, it was under the dominion of the One Sith and the new government, with their Sith Lords, would require their world to begin supporting their cause as soon as possible.

Thus Darths Ferus, Arcanix and Venefica, accompanied by Yvette Dusong, were expected in Bin Prime on that fateful day. Alicia was well acquainted with all three of the Sith Lords that she was meeting with. They knew her as Darth Ayra, a fellow One Sith like themselves. But to her knowledge, they were unaware of her alias. To them, Alicia Drey was a simple business woman who now held the facilities to manufacture for the One Sith. They would not recognise their fellow Sith Lord.

Her clothes were casual, with a long coat covering her body in the cold winds. She was alone, save for the drive of the passenger that would be flying them to the Okara Droid Factory. There, they could settle down to business and find the answer to their questions: How would Balmorra serve the One Sith? And where did Hudrel Robotics fit into their nefarious schemes?

Answers that Alicia Drey had.

Taeli, known as Darth Arcanix, cracked her neck and smoothed out her light blue dress as she walked down the ramp of her personal shuttle onto the landing pad at Bin Prime. She had arrived on Balmorra to begin getting this world up to speed on supporting the Sith war machine, and her first meeting promised to be interesting. A woman known as Alicia Drey had recently acquired a company here that had tendrils in the major droid fabricating areas on the world, and Taeli was interested in such things.

Her own company, Krayt Industries, was looking to expand onto the world as well as they were looking to expand their droid production facilities, and after what had happened in the Corellia system, it would take a very long time to get that system rebuilt. Terraforming, dovin basal placement, everything it would take to get her homeworld rebuilt eventually, but that was for the future and once this woman known as Akala was dealt with.

Until then, she strode through the city of Bin Prime to Hudrel Robotics headquarters for the meeting.

Ferus wasn't a builder. He didn't own a company, nor did he spend his cash to own a part of one. He wasn't into the cooperate scheme, and yet here he was, walking beside [member="Darth Arcanix"] dressed in his usual outfit. In fact, he was still armed. With both of his sabers strapped to his side he walked onwards to the meeting. Not because he wanted to know what the company could do for him, but because he wanted to see [member="Alicia Drey"] for himself. Oh yes, he knew who she was. He had taught her so long ago, even watched her ascend to her Lordship.

But he wasn't here to spill the beans or tell anyone. She had kept a secret for him, and he would keep her secret. But he wanted to make sure she knew he was back. And perhaps the two of them could work together just like in the old days again. Back to reality though, he would cast a glance to the Darth beside him, a frown on his lips.

"A dress? I can't say I'm impressed. I mean, aren't Sith suppose to be 'rawr I'm scary'? That thing you're wearing almost makes you look nice." He would be teasing of course, and the frown would slowly turn into a grin as he slipped his hands behind his head. "Do you know anything on this Alicia Drey?"

[member="Darth Ferus"] [member="Alicia Drey"]

"Watch it you," she said, a smile on her face as Ferus teased her. "I like my dresses, so much better than those stuffy robes so many Sith seem to like to wear. Plus, more mobility in a fight AND I look great as I tear through my opponents with my lightsaber and lightning and all manner of powerful things. As for our host, I haven't heard too much . . . just that she seems to be following the business model of a certain Muun named Hego Damask."

She had come across that name several times during her long reading sessions to study the old days, and she was fairly convinced that Hego Damask had been the Sith Lord Darth Plagueis as his movements and practices perfectly aligned with that successful plot of the Sith to tear down the Republic. It made her wonder though . . . just who was this Alicia Drey? An admirer of a Sith businessman? Secretly a Sith Lord who wanted to remain in the shadows? Time would tell she supposed.

"As for your outfit, maybe you should consider something more formal for meetings?" she said, a teasing edge in her voice.

"Hey, this is the nicest piece of clothing I own. The rest were cut to ribbons. I mean, I suppose I could of worn my heavier armor, or even my robot suit, but I figured this would be best." A look of fake hurt formed on his face as [member="Darth Arcanix"] insulted his wardrobe. Yet, as she spoke of Hego Damask, he admitted, to himself, that he may need to actually read up on some more business figures. He had no idea who Arcanix was talking about of course. And this only sparked a curiosity within himself.

"So you've been a business major kind of person for a while now, huh? You expecting to take this company into your own?"

[member="Alicia Drey"] ... [member="Darth Arcanix"] ... [member="Darth Ferus"]
Unlike her last trip to Balmorra, this was all business. She had lobbied on her behalf to be allowed to partake in the meeting, one that held great importance for the One Sith. A new policy had been voted on and passed that would allow for the newly conquered worlds under the rule of the One Sith to undergo change, politically and financially. And Balmorra was to be the first of many to reap the benefits.

Her shuttle touched down almost two hours behind schedule, which frustrated her to no end. Her previous engagement took longer than expected, but sometimes unforeseeable delays was just part of life. Fortunately, she had time to dress properly for the meeting which made her feel awkward considering where she grew up. She took a glance in the mirror at the green and white outfit she was wearing and sighed. She felt so out of place wearing garments of this nature. However, as a representative she needed to dress the part. Even her ratted hair had been combed out and pulled back into a ponytail. She no longer looked the part of, well, whatever the galaxy viewed Sith as these days. Before leaving the small quarters inside the shuttle, she took one more look at herself and gave a slight chuckle then grabbed the matching coat to her outfit and departing for the meeting.

She arrived at the company's base of operations, identified herself to security, and was led to a room where the others were already gathered, minus this Alicia Drey. Upon entering the room she smirked at the others trying to hide her embarrassment of how she may look to the others. Formal dress and etiquette was something new to her, and she was quite sure the others had already noticed it.

"Welcome to Bin Prime, my Lords." Alicia lowered her head to Ferus, Arcanix and Venefica before lifting her gaze back to each of the Sith Lords. "Our transport is waiting to bring us to the Okara Droid Factory. It one of two of the manufacturing plants Hudrel Robotics uses."

Turning to lead them to the waiting transport, Alicia said. "En route I will answer any questions or queries you have."

"Thank you for the invitation, Miss Drey," Taeli replied, glancing over the others for a moment. Venefica, who she hadn't really interacted with but had heard the stories of, was doing her best to be more formal. At least she did a better job than Ferus did, Taeli thought. Still, something about the woman in front of her seemed . . . familiar. A spark in the memory.

"Miss Drey, I was curious, what exactly have you invited us here to discuss. You mentioned something vague about directing the future of Balmorra towards something that would make the Sith strong," Taeli asked. "But, I'm curious what exactly you had in mind."

Yes, something was very familiar about her. Maybe she had a twin somewhere . . . or maybe . . . that's it! She thought she recognized the woman, but apparently her memory was still out of equilibrium since the Nether crisis began.

When their host, this Alicia Drey, entered the room the first thought to come to her was how beautiful she was. The host was not much taller than herself and both shared at least on thing in common, they both exhibited small frames. Of course their host was far more attractive than the Sith from the swamps. "Yes...thank you for the invitation," she said with a courteous nod, "And please forgive the tardiness."

As the group began their journey to the transport, Darth Venefica listened as her comrade opened up the dialogue with the beautiful host. She, too, was quite curious why they had been invited here. Not all of Balmorra had suffered during the invasion, one she was apart of, except the for the ruins of Bugtown. She had seen firsthand the devastation that took place when the cultists refused to simply give up. In her opinion, there was much potential to be had there.

"If we may politely interject...what of the Bugtown ruins? Does that fall into what our comrade mentioned....'directing the future of Balmorra towards something that would make the Sith strong'."

They entered the transport. Alicia moved to the back, lowering herself into the corner of a cornered couch. There was enough room for herself, Ferus, Arcanix and Venefica to settle themselves down in. As Arcanix spoke, she selected a mineral water from a fridge built into the couches corner and unscrewed the cap as she listened. A swig of water from the bottle followed before Alicia replied. "Balmorra is under the domain of the Sith now. Hudrel Robotics is the last survivoring manufacturer here. All the others fell apart in the ensuing hysteria that claimed this world and allowed you to invade."

"If Balmorra is to become an important part in the Imperial war machine, then it will require extensive development. As the only surviving corporation left over from these tragic events, then Hudrel Robotics is essential to your plans. As the chief operating officer of the company, I have to extend the curtesy of working together with your government. I make your machines, you make me money. Everyone is happy."

The transport turned a corner. Bin Prime passed by them, visible through the vehicles windows. It was beginning to rain. Alicia turned her gaze to Venefica as she spoke before replying. "I am unsure what to make of Bugtown. But I am confident that it, alongside Subrik and Bin Prime, will be essential to the development of Balmorra and Hudrel Robotics."

"This is a pliminary meeting, my Lords. I will show you our facilities, you will tell me what you want and I will work towards getting that for you in return for a fee. I see no reason to complicate matters between Hudrel and the One Sith." Alicia leaned backwards in her seat and folded one leg over the other. She drank from her bottle for a second time, watching the city outside as they drove past.

The red man clearly underdressed kept himself quiet for the most part. Really, he was just looking over the other three. [member="Darth Arcanix"] was an ally, possibly a friend, [member="Darth Venefica"] was.. A stranger. He knew nothing about her, and this would really be the first time he actually had a chance to talk with the Dagobah Sith. And [member="Alicia Drey"] , well. She was still the same as ever, and that seemed to bring a smile to his face.

He couldn't stay silent forever, and once the group settled in the room he would speak up. "I understand you make machines, but what specifically do you have? Do you have any current blueprints? And what of any side projects?" Ferus's tone was level as he leaned against one of the nearby walls. Sitting wasn't his thing. It was almost like wearing a tux. "Especially any.. Off the book projects. I'm sure we all know that there are always a couple off the book projects." Especially with a Sith leading the company. He kept a smile on his face as he waited for the answer from Darth Ayra.

"I recently became a partner in Emertius Industries. We have some technology there that I think the One Sith should find useful." The transport arrived outside the Okara Droid Factory. Emerging from the confines of the vehicle, Alicia hoped that Jaster Awaud would be there for security reasons. The way Ferus was looking at her made her uncomfortable.

"Welcome to the Okara Droid Factory, my Lords. Should we head inside?"

Upon having the work around from [member="Alicia Drey"] about his question, he'd simply roll his eyes and look out the door. If she wasn't going to give a straight forward answer, what use was having her 'cooperation'. Of course, her already being a Sith Lord would most likely fix any sort of hurt she may bring herself in this conversation. Folding his arms over his chest, he would leave it to [member="Darth Venefica"] and [member="Darth Arcanix"] to ask the questions. It seemed Darth Ayra was getting 'uncomfortable' around him.

He hated this money suit, the bussness suit was alien to Jaster as he rarely was seen without his Mandilorian armor on. Not having 3 inches of Mandilorian iron between him and everything else made him feel naked of sorts. Alas he was only notified quickly to muster as many guards as he could to this planet. A total ruin in his mind, but his boss saw a gold mine where he sad just, as useral. About 99.99% of the time she was right too, he wasn't sure about this time. He had just received a call from the new government that they requested some of of men to protect the city.

After weeks of pulling favors from refugee camps to even his own guild he was able to secure 4,000 riot and security guards. He only hopped this was enough to keep the rioters out and the Sith lords from either killing each other or his men.

"Sir, this is central command, we have signal from the transport, they are within security range." Command was Maned by his XO, a close friend of his. These were rough times for this planet and Jaster was taking every possible secure route, while pleasing his boss.

"Tell the gunship to take route 3-22 and keep a quick responce distance, if that transport is attacked I want it on it quickly, keep it out of sight though." He turned to his squads delegate guard, "Commander, keep weapons on stun and make sure to keep in contact with the Riot Guard in the entrance, reports of riots are sporadic at best and Intel is weak."

"Roger that, Sir." Answered his subordinate.

Jaster always had a shiver down his spine, he didn't trust anyone and always have a backup plan. This would be proven to be a job worth his effort.

"Yes, please, lead the way Miss Drey," Taeli said politely. She had a few questions about the operations of the company at this facility and in general that were bubbling away in her brain.

"I'm curious," she began asking, "what are the overall operations of Hudrel here at Okara? If you are trying to be the number one game on Balmorra, wouldn't it be better to use Balmorran Arms Factory facilities in the north?"

She knew her two companions were not business people, but they were invested in something else. Seeing the Sith rise stronger was what all of them desired from this meeting at least, although Taeli would not say she would mind establishing business here on Balmorra for her own company's droid division.

The Sith Lord elected to remain quiet for the remainder of the ride. She was here to observe, report, and even had an interest in the mix even though she had questions dancing about her mind. The answer to her question in regards to Bugtown had satisfied her for now. Later when everyone was more comfortable with each other, she would address the topic with more detail. Or perhaps if she could wisk away their host for a personal one on one discussion, she would explain what she was driving at with those ruins.
Upon arriving at the factory, the group exited the transport and the Dagobah Sith cocked her head slightly to the right, examining the structure. Since the time she constructed the Sith Temple back on Erida, she found architecture to be quite fascinating; and it served as a balance between her emotions and life. She had several projects lined up that ranged from military to civilian to Sith housing. Bugtown was one such site she had been interested in.

"My Lords, this is Jaster Awaud. He is commanding security for Hudrel Robotics. Just in case." Alicia smiled at the Mandalorian, nodding her head to him. She turned her gaze back to Arcanix. "The Okara factory and Troida workshop were the only two properties, alongside some offices in Bin Prime, that were under lease to Hudrel Robotics. When I brought out this corporation, I was aware of the Balmorran Arms Factory. Perhaps at a later date, when Hudrel is back on it's feet, I can look towards expanding my company to that part of Balmorra as well."

"During the tenure of Terrik Hudrel, the founder and owner of Hudrel Robotics until his disappearance, Hudrel Robotics only manufactured your civilian grade droids. From your astromech droids to your protocol and medical droids. I believe the man was a pacifist, looking over Hudrel and what I could discover about him and this corporation. He didn't manufacture military grade units."

"However, as I have said upon our meeting Lord Arcanix, I am here to let Hudrel Robotics further the Imperial war machine and help rebuild Balmorra. I am certain that Hudrel could begin the development of units to help the One Sith in their goals. Certainly, I could see the need for a new class of security droid to pacify any further riots that may or may not occur on Balmorra and on other worlds. I know that the One Sith was recently delivered a shipment of droids from the Baroness Magrath. I am friends with her and those in the Avidon system."

Alicia gestured to Ferus. "As your companion said, I as a business woman have some other wears and technology to give to the One Sith. Emeritus Industries is a backer of Hudrel Robotics. I am sure we could come to some kind of arrangement for any products Emeritus sells as well."

Together, they entered the Okara Droid Factory. Alicia's eyes wondered to the men Jaster had posted. She had made a good investment in getting the Mandalorian on side. In the company of three Sith Lords, it was always helpful to have the numbers game if anything went wrong; and it showed Arcanix, Ferus and Venefica that Alicia Drey was not to be trifled with, even if they didn't know she was Darth Ayra in secret.

"I was asking for specifics, Miss Drey. Your broad answers are informative, but I was hoping for a more.. Direct response." Blue eyes once more focused on [member="Alicia Drey"] , a frown forming on his feature. "You are a business woman. Leave avoiding an actual answer to the Sith. I'd like to see at least the schematics of any of your current projects, or for you to tell me that you cannot for security reasons. Something other than 'We make things here, we have connections to make things in other places. We have things to give.' No offence, but just telling us you have robotics doesn't tell us what you can offer." He would move after the group, glancing about at the security team. Good, she was careful at least. Three Sith Lords coming to visit did need a bit more.. Safety measures than normal. This at least proved the female business owner wasn't a fool, yet she did have a habit of avoiding direct answers. His gaze would go over to [member="Darth Venefica"] and [member="Darth Arcanix"] , and Ferus would offer a shrug.

[member="Alicia Drey"] [member="Darth Ferus"] [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Darth Venefica"]

Jaster had no bad blood for Sith, he enjoyed how rowdy they could get after a few bottles. Held killed his fair share of Sith, republic, and others, but that was the job. These people were no diffrent, just average people talking bussness. Only difference was they could kill about half his men before they left the planet of they so wished. Jaster knew them as well as the files would apply, payed a hefty sum to even get the small fraction of infermation, none that really helped of things went bad. Then again he was hired just to keep the facility from burning down and keeping Alicia from harm.

After hearing one of the Sith lords asking for a demonstration, Jaster remembered that most of the test pilots were on duty and he had a few test soldiers on stand by. The troopers were all ex-military from several diffrent worlds he scrounged around for, all notified of the large bonus if they destroyed a prototype let alone survived the test. All this payed out of his pocket so the final payment would all be his to do with as he pleased and not deal with problems afterwords.

He looked over to his boss to show that if she wished a test, he would supply what she needed.
