Stand straight. Shoulders back and head held high. Soli Baris reminded herself before clearing her throat and walking forward to stand before the group of students. They were a heterogeneous group of students, as was often the case at the Jedi Academy houses. Soli wasn't uncomfortable speaking in front of a group, but knowing that her message was being broadcast to all the houses of the Academy made her feel a bit.....anxious.
Raising her hands, Soli settled the group of padawans and younglings in front of her to quiet down and did her best to avoid looking directly into the holovid recorder.
"Welcome everyone to the Jedi Archive." Soli said clasping her hands behind her back and smiling brightly, "I am pleased to meet with those present and to be speaking with those.....all over the galaxy!"
"The Jedi Archives are a vast collection of data that is now available to all Jedi. At all of the Houses associated with the Jedi Academy there is access to this database." Soli said stepping aside to show the holovid recorders the terminals behind her and the rows of students situated throughout the Archive hard at work researching various topics.
"All you have to do is submit a request for information and one of our Archivists will contact you in a timely manner with the data." Soli said and put a sly look on her face. "But remember, that questions often lead to more questions! So don't expect your answer to come from the first response to your question. It is the Archivists duty to provide you with the answer you need, but it is your duty to refine the information search with additional questions!"
"Thank you all for your time!" Soli said smiling and staring at the camera nervously.
