Well, I hear it's fine if you got the time.

Seated inside of a cantina, surrounded by an overwhelming amount of people. The smuggler Pavor was gripping a bottle of whiskey in his left hand and had a lit cigarillo clutched in his mouth. The sound of rain tapping against the windows could barely be heard over the sound of drunken ramblings coming from half the patrons inside of the establishment. Pavor spent most of his time smuggling and if he was not smuggling, he was drinking and or smoking inside of a cantina. Taking a final puff from the cigarillo in his mouth, he gripped the cigarillo tightly, before removing it to place it in a nearby ash tray.

Oh what a rainy day. The Padawan stepped into the cantina, her cloak dripping wet. Of course she had the luck of stepping outside mere minutes before it had started to pour. Oh well. Time to dry off. She took off her cloak in the doorway and wrung the water out of it, then gave it a few shakes before stepping further inside. At least her satchel and merchant style clothing stayed dry for the most part.

She studied those inside, making note of who had too much to drink and who didn't, choosing a table next to Pavor's. To no surprise to anyone that knew her, she ordered tea. As she waited for it to arrive, she studied the patrons even further. Her bodyguard was nowhere in sight this time as he had other things to tend to. But that was okay. She could handle this task on her own. She just needed to find the right person for the job.

He noticed the woman take a seat next to him and slowly glanced over in her direction. "You some kind of merchant?" He asked, noting her apparel. Pavor slumped down in his chair, sighing slightly. "So, what brings ya down 'ere? Drinkin' to forget or j-" He interrupted himself, taking a quick swig from the bottle of whiskey in his hand. Once he had set the bottle down on the bar, he still had not completed his sentence and instead, turned to look down at the bar floor.

She raised a brow as Pavor slumped down in his chair. He was an odd man, appeared to be middle aged and drinking his day away it seemed. Once her tea arrived she paid for it and had a sip, still waiting for Pavor to finish his sentence. When it appeared that he wouldn't, Kay spoke up. "A merchant of sorts. I came in here to dry up, warm up and maybe look for an employee or two. What about you?" He seemed a bit down and out, making the Padawan feel compelled to help him.

"Oh, you know...the usual." He muttered, his words slurred. He quickly took another swig from the bottle, chuckling. "Gettin' scammed by a bunch of scumbags down in Coruscant, smokin' cigars...Oh! ...An' gettin' drunk."

He continued muttering to himself, only stopping to guzzle down half the bottle without a problem, ignoring the burning sensation in his throat. He began to burst into laughter, slamming the bottle down on the bar, sending some of the alcohol inside splashing up onto the bar. "You know, I...I-I think I'ma fly back to...C-Correlia today." He said, slowly beginning to climb out of his chair.

"People have been scamming you on Coruscant, sir? I'm not surprised. It's pretty bad there. What did they scam you out of, if I may ask?" In truth she was trying to keep him from flying for he was in no shape to do so.

Kay sipped her tea and waited to see what he would do. Even if he still insisted on flying, she had other ways of making him stay put.

He looked at her for a second, before bursting into laughter. "Miss, I'm afraid I can't help ya with that." He said, attempting to change the conversation. "Ya know...I really oughta be goin'." He said, sighing. "...Unfortunately." He added. Slowly, he looked over to the woman. "Before I go...who the hell are you?" He asked, running his left hand through his beard.

His thoughts seemed to be everywhere. Maybe he didn't hear her correctly or he had more to drink than she thought. He asked for her name, which she was slightly hesitant to answer, but that was more so out of habit. She took another sip of her tea, glad to finally feel the dampness on her clothes starting to disappear. "My name is Kay. And who might you be, sir?" Out of respect she called him sir, for it was far better to be polite than not.

"The n-n-names...Pavor. Now, I'ma head back to Correlia, they put up a new cantina...a-a-and I hear it's fine, if ya got the time and the ten credits to get yourself in." He chuckled once more, shaking his head multiple times. "What brings ya down 'ere?" He asked, the stench of alcohol on his breath. He stared at her, stuttering as he spoke.

Hmm. Kay indicated to the server that she needed another cup of tea. It just took moments for it to be brought to her. She poured a cup for Pavor and refilled her own before getting to her feet and joining his table. He was in a sad state, kind of pathetic actually. But maybe it was all an act. "I needed to get out of the rain. And I figured that since I was here, that I might find someone suitable for a job."

He stared at her for a moment, before finally beginning to speak. "I...I-I-I...H-How many c-credits ya got on you?" He asked, glancing over at the door, than back to the woman multiple times, obviously suspicious. He ignored the cup of tea on the bar and slowly took a few steps forward, slowly approaching the door, waiting for a response.

Kay raised a brow. The old man almost seemed frightened of her, which was odd as she never thought of herself as the threatening type. But maybe it was just the alcohol. "How many credits do I have on me? Pavo...sir. You should know better than to ask me that in such a public place. Why someone could try to rob me and that just wouldn't be nice. Let's just say that what I would offer would be nothing to sneeze at. Of course if you are in no need of credits, then I could always search for someone else that might be qualified."

He stopped, sighing loudly, slowly beginning to speak once more. "I-I-I...W-w-where you need t-t-to be goin'?" He asked, slowly sliding his hand into one of the many pockets on his denim vest to remove a pack of little cigars. Removing a single flavored little cigar, he placed it in his mouth, quickly removing a lighter. After igniting the tobacco, he quickly taking a puff. Finally, he opened his mouth to blow a smoke ring up towards the ceiling, slowly turning around. He held the filtered little cigar in between his fingers, slowly glancing down at the brown colored wrapper of the little cigar.

He certainly did smoke a lot. Much the same as his drinking. She half wondered if this was all just an act, for it seemed too incredible to be real. But she just continued as though it didn't bother her in the slightest. "Sriluur. It could be dangerous, but I suppose that a man like you is used to danger."

Slowly, he reached up, taking the little cigar in between his fingers for a moment once more, blowing out a thick cloud of smoke before continuing to speak. "W-w-w-why you...y-y-you headin' down...d-down there?" He asked, a confused expression on his face. "...O-OH! I-I apoligize! W-w-would you like one?" He asked, slowly removing the pack of little cigars once more, displaying the front of the pack to the woman.

Kay sipped her tea and shook her head at the offer. "No thank you. I don't indulge in the habit." She gestured for him to join her table as opposed to trying to sneak out the door. "I'm going on a business trip. It shouldn't be for long, a few days at the most." Of course that was only if everything went according to plan.

Hesitantly, he pulled out a chair, taking a seat at the table. He puffed on the little cigar for a moment, slowly shaking his head in disbelief. "S-s-s-so...here is what your tellin' me..." He muttered, clearing his throat after taking another swift puff from the little cigar in between his fingers. "...I-Is that...ya' need m-me to bring ya down t-t-to that...goddamn Weequay hellhole...t-t-then you n-need my assistance o-o-on gettin' back down 'ere...A-Am I-I correct?" He said, obviously in disbelief. "A-are you...a-are you even serious?" He asked, extinguishing the little cigar in a nearby ash tray.

Kay took another sip of her tea and shook her head before turning her head to look at him in the eye. "Not exactly. I have my own ship to get there with. What I would like for you to do is to go down there about half a day after I do and wait for me. I'll have some....friends that will need a lift and I can't bring them aboard my ship. You can bring them here or somewhere safer and then wait for me to rejoin you." She wasn't quite sure if he had understood what she had meant by 'friends', but only time would tell.

He looked at her, slowly shaking his head. "U-Understood," He muttered, glancing at the door. "H-H-However...I'm g-goin' to require half of my credits right now. T-t-t-t-the other half when I get down there. Is that a-acceptable?" He asked. Once again, he cleared his throat, running his left hand through his beard, waiting patiently.

Kay slowly nodded her head. He could end up taking the credits and spending it all on booze, never taking the job at all and just do a runner. But there's a chance that he could do as she requested as well.

Of course she didn't carry a large amount of credits on her, especially in a place like this. Kay finished her tea and then got to her feet. "Your first instalment is on my ship." She gestured to the door. "Shall we?"
