Description: The WESTAR 34 battle pistol has been in use many centuries, and despite the constant state of technological advancement our Galaxy is in, it still finds itself in use to this very day. Yet, as the times go on; new materials and technology allow for improvements to be made to even the most classic and well constructed weapons. The Red Ravens have released a newly refurbished blaster. Though little was changed to the overall fire power of the weapon, Phrik plating was introduced to allow for Lightsaber resistant weaponry, as well as a slower rate of overheating due to Dallorian alloys used in construction of the pistol to absorb heat. A must have weapon for anyone that plans to be in close quarters combat. Due to its light weight design, it can be easily dual wielded and is extremely maneuverable. Despite this, the blaster is not without faults. It features a small ammo pack, only capable of holding 10 slugs at one time and only 30 blaster shots. Reloading is quick, but in the heat of battle. Such a delay can get one killed. It is also only deathly at very short ranges. Anything past 30 meters, and the killing power of the blaster becomes exponentially lowered. While useful in close quarters combat situations, its use in an open environment is not as ideal which can affect ones combat effectiveness.
((OOC Derp misspelled Phrik in title. Sorry.))
