- Planet Name: Wgah'nagl | The Dark Planet (Quarantine World 142)
- Demonym: Mgepah'bthnk | The Touched; They call themselves by this name, and since the inhabitants of the planet are unknown to the outside world, they do not yet have a demonym name.
- Region: Tingel Arm
- System Name: Ammutseba
- System Features: The solar system is a system of six planets and an asteroid belt. Quarantine World 142 is the fourth planet in the system. The top three revolve too close to the sun, what a Red giant is and so it fills most of the system. The star is not very old, it is just huge, so it will certainly exist for another two or three billion years. The first three planets (exo-planets) are too hot and have no atmosphere. Wgah'nagl is the fourth with a tropical climate. This is followed by an asteroid belt that used to be a planet, just destroyed and shattered to pieces. And the remaining two planets are gas giants with countless moons, most of which were lost asteroids. And there is life on the System only on the planet Wgah'nagl, nowhere else.

- Gravity: Standard.
- Climate: Tropical.
- Primary Terrain: Jungles, Swamps, Ocean
Much of the planet is made up of vast jungles and swamps, and there is even a larger ocean on the planet. However, the planet is interesting, from space, the whole thing looks rather dark and black due to the effect of the Dark Side, as if he were dead. Due to the tropical climate, there are many clouds and it rains many times, these clouds are all completely black and the ocean also has a black, spoiled color from space. There is a lot of fresh water on the planet due to the constant rains, which is also the reason for the rich jungle environment. - Atmosphere: Type I, Type II.
In much of the planet, Type 1, but deep in the jungle, where there are countless poisonous plants that release their toxins into the air, the air is already poisonous. The same is true for higher mountains where there is less oxygen, or for areas affected by volcanic eruptions.
- Capital City: Gn'bthnknyth | The Heart
- Planetary Features:
- Mgehye: The Wreckage, and remains of a hundreds of metres long spaceship that crashed thousands of years ago. By now, the jungle was almost completely overgrown, and almost nothing was left of it. The locals find it cursed and don’t really go near it.
- Mgehyee: The Sacred Ruins, it was probably built by the Sith about eight thousand years ago when they visited the planet here for a scientific expedition. It was once a smaller research station, from where they experimented with the planet’s Nexus. When the Nexus was corrupted, the place was also depopulated. The locals consider it a sacred place because whispers are best heard here. The power of the Dark Side is also perhaps the greatest here on the planet next to the Sacred Tree.
- Major Locations:
- Gn'bthnknyth: The Capital, the largest city on the planet, is home to roughly twenty thousand people. There are mainly buildings built of stone and wood, all of which are typically one-story buildings. That’s why it covers a fairly large area, most of the houses are in the jungle, or in places where locals cut down trees so they can cultivate land and build. The city is surrounded by a three- to four-meter-high wall made of stone and wood.
- Lw'shuggor: The Sacred Tree, a huge petrified tree. An area close to a volcano is quite uninhabitable. Once upon a time here was the capital where there was a great war, due to the use of Force and the eruption of a volcano, countless Eldritch creatures were petrified along with the tree, commemorating the event. Since then, many pilgrims from the inhabitants of the planet have made it here during their lives. The power of the Dark Side is also perhaps the greatest here on the planet next to the Sacred Ruins.
- Ah'ehyeah uh'eagl: The Forbidden City, a beautiful and vast city, accessible only to members of R'luhhor syha'h and Ahog hafh'drn, forbidden to everyone else. The city stores a significant portion of the planet’s written knowledge, has a vast library, and all of their knowledge of Eldritch magic is also here, where countless Eldritch artefacts can be found, not to mention countless alchemist recipes and spells. The city is still inhabited by Mgepahazaths and created by the inhabitants of the city, but they can never leave this place. In addition to them, countless Uh'enah also live here as food.
- Throdog Vulgtmagl: The Great Temple, it is essentially a small city-state, from where the religion of the planet takes control. Like Ah'ehyeah uh'eagl, there are many historical, though mostly religious, records. Of course, here too there is a lot of knowledge related to Eldritch magic and alchemy. Truthspeakers are usually found here. The church was built inside a mountain, in a larger inner cave, which is a nature formation. With the capital and the secret city, the church closes a triangle.
- Llllnah ot lloiggshogg: The Way of the Horrors, an artificial road spanning the entire planet. In most places it is made of volcanic stones or wood, in others it is just a dirt road, the edge of which is marked with stones or trees. It is the largest man-made formation on the planet, built by civilization. Every town, village, church, altar, or commercial center was built on this route. The whole world trade takes place this way.
- Throdog N'ghftor: The Great Blue, a larger city on the oceanfront, the center of commerce. The place essentially exists to trade through it. Here is the largest market where merchants come from all over the world. The place and fishing are specially arranged for this. Actual civilians don’t even live here, just craftsmen and merchants.
- Shugnahoth Epagll: The Crystal Caves, there are several different crystal caves on the planet that contain cyber crystals. The locals can’t take advantage of this, so they lie untouched. However, each crystal was imbued with the Dark Side and Eldritch influence, so it is doubtful that anyone could use them for anything that is not tied to Eldritch things.
- Ah'ehye'drnn: The Keepers, the name of a double mountain range between the capital and Ah'ehyeah uh'eagl. At the confluence of the two mountains in the valley are four huge Eldritch stone statues (40 metres high) carved centuries ago by local sculptors. They watch Llllnah ot lloiggshogg passing by here, two looking towards the capital, two towards the forbidden city with countless eyes, making it feel as if I are really watching those passing by.
- Vulgtmagll: Temples, altars, on the planet are innumerable places with its altars and smaller shrines placed in cities, forests, or mountains where the population can pray or sacrifice for Gnaiih ot N'ghftnahh. These are usually simple altars made of wood or stone, possibly small buildings.
- Yogfm'l Nglui: Way to the stars, i.e. Stargate, it is the name of the peak of the highest mountain on the planet, a mountain peak about 15km high. It’s also a huge super volcano, sleeping for thousands of years, and there’s no sign of it erupting yet. It is believed that from this mountain a path leads to the sky, between the stars.
Sacred Tree / Lw'shuggor
- Intent: The population and religion of the planet are also highly dependent on the Nexus, the entire planet has been shaped by the Nexus as we know it today. Therefore, Nexus is also closely related to species and religion, and the effects and other information would be explained here.
- Nexus Name: Ephaiot R'luhhor | Will of the God
- Nexus Alignment: Dark / Eldritch
- Size: Planetary
- Strength: Strong
- Accessibility: N/A (Planetary Nexus)
- Effects: The planet's Nexus was neutral for a very, very long time, maybe it would have stayed that way, but something has changed. Roughly 7,900 years ago, during the Hundred-year darkness, a group of Sith, or just Typhojem himself, somehow reached and found the planet. It is not possible to know whether the deity himself was here or not. From the legends and narrative of the locals, it survives to be a left-handed figure with a strange monstrous look. That is why it was first given the name Father of Shadows and then later when their language was transformed into Gnaiih ot N'ghftnahh. Last but not least, they never knew the person’s real name or identity.
The group was doing research on the planet, which at the time had a very strong neutral Nexus. The group corrupted the Nexus, which turned to the Dark Side. After that, they left the planet, but left a fairly deep mark on the locals. The Nexus had an effect on the entire planet.
Decades, centuries, then millennia have passed. Slowly, over the centuries, the Nexus has transformed the entire planet, both flora and fauna. Everything has become toxic to outsiders here (except the air), and both flora and fauna are deadly. In fact, the place could be classified as a quarantine world. Over the centuries and millennia, all thoughts on the good and the light side have disappeared from the locals, only the evil, dark ones have remained.
Nexus doesn’t work in the short term, it does in the longer term. It also took hundreds and thousands of years for the planet to completely transform. So if someone comes here, the whisper will be what they keep hearing, but physical distortions will take years or decades. This is now essentially ingrained in the race of the planet, so they would look like that without the Nexus. Oddly enough, this Nexus is a little maybe different from the others. It has a greater impact on those who have the Force. The lesions and distortions will be much more spectacular with them. He who does not have the Force and comes from the outside world can easily go crazy.
When the Sith group corrupted the Nexus, they could have somewhat damaged the fabric of reality, or it could only be thinned by the experiments. Thanks to this, voices, whispers, were created; for they are nothing but echoes. Echoes from the Netherworld and the dimension from which the Eldritch creatures come. Thanks to this injury, the Eldritch was able to infect the Nexus and it affected the entire world, both living things and flora. This also contributes to the fact that local Magicians (Force Users) summon Eldritch creatures using Magic (Force) rather than demons from the Netherworld.
And the Nexus has one more effect, making the planet appear almost completely dead and black from space, while life is literally proliferating on it like cancer cells in living organisms…
- Native Species: Mgepah'bthnk | The Touched
- Immigrated Species: N/A
- Population: Sparse, 4,5-5 million.
- Demographics: 100% Mgepah'bthnk
- R'luhhor syha'h: less than 0.1%
- Ahog hafh'drn: 0.3-0.5%
- R'luhhnythogg: 4-5%
- Kadishtuor: 2%
- Mgepahazath: 3%
- Ah'n'ghayar: 4,4%
- Ah'gotha: 75%
- Uh'ena: 10%
- Primary Languages: U'ghft Aimgr'luhh (Dark words), Telepathy, Pheromones, Body-language
- Culture:
- Daily Life: Their daily lives also depend on what they work for, which caste / subspecies they live in. Because there is no electricity and the planet is very dangerous, they only leave safe homes in the daylight. They only venture out in the dark when they really have to. They do their work from sunrise to sunset, and only those who can do their work from home work. Nightlife is almost non-existent under the conditions on the planet.
- Education: Education is very important on the planet, so every child goes to school at a young age. It is independent of the subspecies, where they learn to write, read, receive basic knowledge of history as well as deep religious education. There is no such thing as someone skipping school. Anyone who does intellectual work can continue their education in educational institutions such as a university in addition to a religious school. And everyone else is further trained in a job that matches their talent.
- Arts: Art is quite rare and special in this place. It is considered art if something is as grotesque and nightmarish as possible. The more tentacles they have, or the more snakes they are full of, the more beautiful their creations are. There are craftsmen on the planet who make special and unique objects to order, painters, sculptors, musicians, architects or poets. But most of these don’t come from the working class, which is very rare. Their numbers, however, are very negligible and quite rare. For outside observers, these may be the most horrible things and creations.
- Sports: If survival, or not going crazy completely in whispers, can be called a sport, then this is it. Anyway, it’s not very much, mostly craftsmen compete with each other to see who is better, who can generate more revenue and the like. Society is not like that to allow sports, and they are even too undeveloped for normal games.
- Religion: On the planet, society is built around religion, which determines their entire lives. They all live according to the laws and dogmas laid down in religion. They have monotheism and their church is called Ot Ainah Mgleth, or Whispers of Truth. They also have a separate hierarchy within the church and rituals during religion play a very important role in the life of society. Every inhabitant of the planet is also a member of the church, there is no exception.
- Cultural Quirks: In fact, the whole culture is very strange and twisted. Starting with the caste system, strict religiosity and their whole lives. Perhaps their underdevelopment also contributes to all this, especially for an outside observer, not least the fact that social ranks depend on appearance. So overall, the whole society and culture is pretty weird. Especially for an outsider if it discovers this planet and luckily survives this unfortunate move.
- Government: Theocracy | Religious Monarchy
The state form of the planet mostly reflects the states between Theocracy and the Religious Monarchy. The locals live on the planet according to a caste system, which is based on which subspecies they were born into. However, within their own caste, their position may depend greatly on what position they hold within the church. The real masters of the planet are the Truthspeakers, the most powerful Magic users. They oversee the entire population of the planet, gathering all the information from them once a year during a ritual. Otherwise, the church, Ot Ainah Mgleth (Whispers of Truth), guards the world according to its own internal hierarchy. - Affiliation: N/A
- Wealth: Poor
It can’t really be compared to other planets because they live in a medieval feudal society. This is why they are likely to live poorer than even the poorest developed civilizations. On the planet, by the way, this cannot be classified much because of the caste system. There is crop production, animal husbandry, so the population is not really starwing. However, very few have luxury articles who belong to the two or possibly top three castes. - Stability: High
- Local people: Since childhood, everyone has been raised to be a law-abiding and religious person, so there is really, so to speak, order and peace on the planet. It’s very rare for someone to go crazy with the constant sounds and whispers, but it’s not really typical. The crime rate is low for this very reason, not to mention that religious leaders learn weekly about all the thoughts and actions of their flock.
- Outsiders: The planet is not safe at all for outsiders, nor is it very common for anyone to come here. When they do, all their knowledge is might be lost, read out of their minds, and then they try to used their bodies for reproductive purposes.
- Freedom & Oppression: This is quite a double-edged sword and difficult to answer. Probably a person from the outside world would say that the oppression on the planet is enormous because the locals are forced to live in a strict caste-based caste system from which there is no forward movement. Not to mention that religion also has strict laws and every inhabitant of the planet is obliged to live according to the rules of the church. Nevertheless, it can still be said that the system is somewhat free, because although it is not possible to move out of the social class, everyone has studied and can work in a job that suits them best. Essentially, everyone is a useful member of society and that’s how they feel. From an early age, everyone receives a deep religious education, so essentially everyone is a religious fanatic, and because of the whispers, heretics essentially don’t even occur.
- Military: Only 4.4% of the planet’s population qualifies as soldiers, members of the Ah’n’ghayar subspecies. Because there is not really a war with each other on the planet (there has been no example of it for centuries), they typically provide protection for the important people, are responsible for the security of their cities, and trade convoys. Everything on the planet is deadly, so it is very often necessary to protect the population from wild animals. Most of them are simple soldiers or mercenaries, but many work in the service of the church as crusaders and inquisitors. Most use weapons and armour created through Eldritch alchemy, which are created for them by members of the Ahog hafh'drn and R'luhhnythogg, or these tools reinforced with Eldritch Magic.
- Technology: They are kept at a feudal level in technology. That is, machines do not yet exist, everything is produced by hand by themselves. They use archaic weapons that Magicians (Force Users) can make stronger. Oddly enough, however, they know the sciences that characterize Sith magic (they called it to Eldritch magic) and alchemy, which are Force-based. With the help of the Force, they are also able to summon eldritch-like creatures as well.
The planet was discovered roughly 8,000 years ago by a Sith research team led by a left-handed man. They set up a research station here and got to know the local species at the technological level, which was still in the Bronze Age at the time. They didn’t plan to intervene, yet they managed to change the world much better than they thought. The planet was inhabited before, only this Bronze Age, undeveloped civilization.
The Sith experimented with the Nexus and tipped the hitherto neutral formation to the Dark Side. The actual history of the planet began here. The Sith left the planet after the damage, and the locals began to worship the left-handed man as a god. The corrupt Nexus was infected by an Eldritch power that pretty slowly - over a few millennia - transformed the planet and all of its living things, including plants.
As a result, every plant and animal form on the planet (sentient and non-sentient) looks like a tentacle, serpentine, eldritch abomination. Not everything is deadly for the locals because they have adapted to it, but they are for the outsiders. Religiosity has developed, which is still a very important (most important) part of society to this day. The change of the Nexus has greatly contributed to the formation and development of the society, as the changes caused by the Nexus determine which subspecies and thus the social class of the local population.
The planet has been discovered several times over the past 8,000 years, but almost no one has left the planet alive, and if anyone did, it was under the influence of one of the Touched when the local native got out of the planet. The planet has been classified as a Quarantine World for about 4,000 years. This means that the planet is deadly in all respects and not worth getting into, and it is forbidden to venture to the planet. After all the members of the research expeditions go crazy from the whispers, or are captured and used by the locals for reproductive purposes, this decision may not be so surprising.
The Gulag Plague, of course, affected both the planet and the population, a significant portion of the species died and the population collapsed greatly. On the other hand, they can multiply quickly, so they survived this disaster. The planet remains in Quarantine World rankings, which is still valid to this day. There was so much change at the Netherworld event that the sounds and whispers became even louder, which the locals saw as a divine sign.
All in all, apart from a few people who break the rules, the planet is completely cut off from the outside world and hasn’t really been discovered or investigated by anyone yet because of the circumstances on it.
