"Not for One Government, but for all peoples."The Strategic Intelligence Service is a highly secretive organization built around the cooperation of Jedi, Agents, Former Soliders, and even Civilians. The SIS was originally founded as an Intelligence branch of the Galactic Alliance Military but has since expanded its reach to operate as more of a dedicated peace keeping force for the Galaxy.
Though the SIS still follows the directive of the Galactic Alliance, the evolution of both the Alliance Government as well as the SIS itself has made the organization steadily less and less reliant on their original founding government. This has mostly occurred due to the nature of the SIS itself. As more an more Agents join the organization fewer are citizens of the Galactic Alliance, instead most come from the far-flung reaches of the galaxy.
This means that the SIS has become less of an organization based within, and upon, the Alliance, and more structured from the Galaxy as a whole.
The Strategic Intelligence Service now includes Agents from all walks of life and nearly every corner of the galaxy. Chiss, Zeltron, Ithorians, all species are welcome within the SIS, all working for the same common directive that; "Do Good".
The SIS is an organization that seeks to supersede the boundaries of Government and petty politics, looking only to make the galaxy a better place.
