What Are Your Ambitions?

Everyone has them, to some extent; I'd imagine some people make characters with the intention of starting factions, others for claiming canon items. I've always thought it was important to wear my heart on my sleeve, it helps reinforces the goals I set for myself, either leading me to consider different perspectives or encouraging to pursue it all the more. Still, I've never seen a thread directly dedicated to the question, so I want to directly ask: What ambitions do you have for yourself or your character(s) on this site?

I'll start by saying I want to take the experiences I have on this site and transform it into my artwork, whether in costume design, animation, or pixel art; either depicting scenes played out or characters I meet, it helps to feed off of the experience and recycle it into something new. For example, I'm using my character's artwork of Varian Wrynn as a base for the initial facial structure of this pixel art I'm creating of my character, currently in gray scale. Though it'll be it's own finished product in the end, with proper credit given, of course, it helps to ground myself with some sort of value; mine in particular comes from seeing the character evolve through writing - it makes me want to memorialize it, I suppose, or perhaps give it something tactile, maybe visual.

TL;DR Version: What do you want to accomplish?

Thema isn't a character originally created for this roleplay. In fact, I was gonna use her for a story. Said story took place after Order 66, and it was basically a backwards redemption story with her. My goals are to dehumanize her, and make her abandon Jedi ideals, and ultimately, her lightsaber.

As for my Mandalorian? No idea. I'm just hoping to get him experience, and then break off from the two biggest Mandalorian factions, to join a factions like... Say, the Outback.

Jakkor had been in my head for quite sometime before I started here. He had been in my head for 6 months before fleshing him out,and I figured him to be a very troubled and disturbed Teenager who survived order 66 and the Jedi Purge, and suffers from a form of PTSD. His main goal so far is to destroy the Sith.

He also struggles very heavily with the Light and Dark sides of the force while he tries to remain true to his jedi ideals he will do anything to gain revenge which at times get's in the way of those ideas. Besides revenge he hopes to gain power maybe later down the road he will become Sith but so far now. I have plans to keep on the path of the light and how he will eventually join the New Jedi Order and become a Knight.

Vent stress in the form of fantasy explosions, romances, nostalgia, and laser sword shenanigans.

It's not deep. But I'd recommend it to anybody. Pew pew pew. :D

  • Reach Knighthood, eventually Jedi Master though the latter is less important.
  • Train students of the Jedi Order, acquiring a long-term student wishing to progress through a story driven plot and not OOC politics.
  • One day see the Jedi Order become whole (Not likely).
  • Compromise by earning a place of significant impact within the Jedi Order situated within the Galactic Republic.
  • Above all else, remain outside of the OOC drama's that can be fueled, remembering that we are all here to Roleplay and to enjoy my own experiences first and foremost.

That's about the gist of it. Nothing long winded and bothersome; simply my Chaos goals. :)

Lol, like I would tell others about my secret ambitions. :p

Most of the time, I want to get my characters to Master. And the rest is a secret. Until I achieve that secret goal.

I want to be
The very best
Like no one ever was

To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause

I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide

With human slaves, you'll understand
The power that's inside

I'd like to write stories about space wizards in space. The drama should be kept IC and winning means actually enjoying things.
Did someone call for a wizard? Forget answering. I KNOW someone specifically stated "wizard" and "space" together in the same sentence.

To write with like-minded others who simply want to create their own slice of adventure, drama and fun in a galaxy far, far away...

The complete genocide of the Vong. The destruction of the Silentium. To worship the Machine God and enact his will. Command and conquer. That is my primary function.

James Justice: no real goals except to make everyone question stereo types. He ain't your classic good guy and he sure ain't a bad guy. He's not your typical crime lord (crime lords don't take over cities and create a police force structured around a middle class family) but he certainly doesn't follow the laws of the land.

Lumi Snow: to make a brilliant doctor and scientist. I want her to be one of the most brilliant minds to ever live. Of course she is a mind reader so that helps but she's blind so..... Yeah. Just to do a unique character who is undeniably good.

Akio Diachi: make Mystical Force master a thing. Not strong but wise.. Very Buddhist. Classical Jedi.
And my only real force worshipper.

Mystique: to loser her chit. And kill a lot off things.

As a writer: pretty much the same as JSC. I want to write characters that make you think. Go wow. And blow your mind. I want to redefine your ideas of humanity and explore my own--pushing myself to New heights and understanding.

Or... At least to just make freinds and ruin the life of one [member="Gray Raxis"]. :p

Cheers.

OOC, my main goal is to amuse myself.

In character, most of my characters have big, sweeping ambitions, like apotheosis or galactic peace. The exception is Olom, who just likes power, money, and proving himself right. Oh, and Olidiv, who is there for the money and the women and the award-winning roles in holo-dramas.
