What do you want in an event

Since I am helping work on it and I have been in afew I want to hear from those who have been in Madness, Harvest, Roche, Clockwork, Valen what did you like or dislike? What would you like to see possibly? And most important what aspects would be fun to focus on? We have some things on paper but nothing concrete and this will be a process to make a good story so all input from you guys would be great.

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
I'd like it to be slower paced, so I can actually get involved, but that won't happen. :p

In all seriousness, I liked Roche. Clockwork had a theme that made it really fun. And Madness had an event for every type of person. That is what I think should be continued. It allows those who don't have fighting characters to still be involved.

[member="Aika Kawakami"] wel the pacing we can't fix, events usually get a bunch of posts fast but the content we are looking at some investigation, some fighting and there will be some fleeting with parts for everything and everybody. Aika could be running around investigating while someone else is fighting.

Why can't there be like two threads for the event, one could be the general one where it is fast paced and design one for the slower posters. Make it clear that that thread is for them? I too love the events but struggle to keep pace, not only because of time but time zones thing as well.

Most events have four threads and the possibility for threads to be made. We'll have a small part for those who want to use the situation in slower threads like in harvest but try to do more with that
