I am a son of the Mountain.
"Kark! I'm so sick of this crap!" Lucky yelled out over the comm channel, a clear distaste lining her tone.
Drifting in the open space of the Rodia system Phantom Squadron had been assigned to one of the most boring and feared duties that any fighter squadron could be given, scouting duty. From Kamino to Rodia the small squadron was required to do a lengthy survey of the systems in between, only stopping to refuel and for a limited amount of leg time. Their third day in the pilots were all beginning to feel the depression of such a mission.
Dominic let out a long winded yawn before lowering the radio he set in the frame of his ship. "Not like complaining will make it any better Lucky." He said, stretching his arms a bit.
"A kick in your backside would make it better." Lucky commented before letting out an almost animistic screech. "How long until the next planet?!" She screeched.
Dominic maintained a steady chuckle before finally answering her. "Two hours." Immediately Lucky's comm device was turned off from her end, causing Dominic and Radar to let out a more than amused laugh.
"Man, and she just got back into a good mood." Radar said, the sound of tinkering coming from his TIE fighter. Dominic's feet were laid above his controls, his TIE Fighter set to drift as they awaited the time for their patrol in this sector to be over. "You better not be working on your fighter while in space, Radar." He said, accusingly.
"No way, L.T. just messing with a datapad." He said, the sound of tinkering still in the background.
"Yea whatever, Hey Pipsqueak you doing ok?" Dominic called out to Sara. This wasn't the first time on a patrol with their newest member, yet Dominic knew the more you did them the worse they got.
