What Happened to Coruscant?

Hello! I was unfortunately not around when the One Sith took over Coruscant amongst other planets. I was just interested in knowing what exactly happened to the planet after its takeover by the Sith. Is it controlled under heavy military force? Were Republic buildings (Jedi Temple, Senate, etc.) destroyed? Is travel to or from Coruscant even possible?

I would be grateful to anyone that could update me on what the situation is there.

The Senate was essentially converted into office buildings, the Jedi Temple was completely destroyed and re-forged into a new Valley of the Dark Lords, the Imperial Palace is currently a ruin due to the Omega Protectorate, 500 Republica is currently home to Sith Supporters. Thats it for Major buildings.

As a whole, daily life on Coruscant has not at all changed. There's a very heavy military presence, but its not really noticeable as they're not their as a police force, instead stationed more against invasions. Since ousting the Republic the One Sith have started numerous construction projects both in space and on the ground so generally the working class is pretty busy and happy(being employed and such). As i said generally everything has mostly stayed the same for the average citizen.

Travel to Coruscant is entirely possible, as long as you're not broadcasting your association with the enemies of the One Sith. Of course for suspicious vessels we would do stop checks and everyone gets scanned, etc...
