What Happened To Peace

Coruscant. The best place to drink.. well that's if you fit in. Alask hated Coruscant for some reasons but loved it for more reasons. The day was cloudy in the afternoon but sprinkling with rain. He wanted to do something that didn't involve him walking in circles around the same area in his grey cloak and black robes. Alask loved the rain, always suited the everyday life of a rogue, free to drop wherever he/she wanted. He didn't even think about going inside even if he was just wandering in circles.

People always pushed other people around. For instance, a rodian merchant pushed Alask against a wall holding a knife to his neck. He used force lightning and a force pushed towards his chest to get him off him possibly killing the rodian. It wasn't his fault if he died, he shouldn't have tried to rob him. The rain just kept dropping as he continued to walk in circles.

There wasn't many places that could compare to the hustle and bustle of Coruscant. Especially on the lower levels where fugitives, outlaws, and the like roam free. It wasn't most of their choice however, some did what they had to do to survive. Though the story wasn't about them, it was about her. Why was she significant? She wasn't quite sure yet. All she knew was that she didn't know where she came from. She felt almost unnatural, she was force sensitive, yet it felt forced upon her. Like most abominations what did she do? She remained out of the spotlight. She didn't want to go get help without first figuring some things out for herself. So where did she find herself, on Coruscant blending in with the rest of the nobodies.

Walkways were crowded, though it seemed with all the people present, none witnessed the crimes that happened in their face. Every where she looked she saw someone being mugged, or ganged up on to be beat. It was outrageous in a since. She had a simple brown cloak that covered her from the rain that fell from above. It made the environment muggy, and the air thick. Though for a moment it silenced a lot of the background noise. Some might call it peaceful.

With the splatter of the water beneath her steps, she looked on along the path she followed, walking down a narrow back way which would lead to an more open space. A few feet away she saw someone walking in circles. Now, she had seen quite a bit of weird things since she'd been here, but there was something different about this individual. She started to get a tingling feeling inside. She had been getting a bunch if those, and she knew that meant there was something significant about that person, place, or thing. Sorta like an intuition, an intuition aided by the force.

She stopped in her tracks, and looked on at the man. Her icy blue eyes stood out amongst the darker shades coming from underneath her hood. Her mouth opened to reveal her teeth, the words she wanted to speak were on the tip of her tongue. Normally she would keep walking, but when she got closer that feeling grew in intensity.

"Are..you alright?" were the words that came from underneath her hood. The voice of a young woman.

Something about coruscant erased emotions. However, the rain gave Alask a reason to keep going positive. A voice came out of nowhere. Asking if he was okay. He was relieved by the question because he usually doesn't get asked that often. Instead, he gets mugged or at least people try. Hearing the voice ring in his head over and over, he finally stopped walking and turned his attention to the lady.

"I think so. I guess I had nothing else to do so I decided to walk in circles." he said tugging on his hood to try and conceal himself. Only to other rogues he let himself be seen in public or friends and family. Every time he looked at the lady, he was curious to who was under that hood. If she could see him even with the hood pulled, he'd have a smile.

"Just...walk in circles?" she said confused after. If he could see her, she would have an eyebrow raised, and a look of 'Really??' On her face. Though she had to remember where she was, but then again there was something significant about this guy or she wouldn't have been drawn to him the way she was. She pulled the hood back a bit which would give a view if strands of her hair, and more importantly her icy blue eyes.

"Are you sure your alright?" she said looking around, eventually her eyes came to rest upon a sentient being laying just some feet away from the man. She started to make her way quickly for him, though she stopped herself, because maybe this man posed a threat to her as well. Though she slowly took steps forward towards the body just off to the side. She looked down, and then up to watch her back.

"Did you do this?"

Alask nodded when she questioned him on all three questions. She reacted fairly quick when she saw the dead rodian. "You don't have to trust me or believe me but I didn't do it for fun or for joy. You know how people act here. Always trying to steal or kill. I just returned the favor before mysoul was robbed." he said keeping an eye on her. For a moment, something in the force could be felt. He felt as if she was one with the force or maybe has a connection with it.
