Private What happens in Canto.....

Business trips were boring. Lavria could not stand the idle threats, puffed up egos and substandard bluffs. Master Zul knew she hated these trips, but still he dragged her along - to learn, he would say. To her, it was quite simple - if someone doesn't comply, run them through with a lightsaber and put a better person in their place. Luckily, the Zygerrians were quite easy to do business with and the deal was concluded quickly.

They were just heading back to Bastion so Master Zul could report on their progress, when the transmission came through of some Jedi slinking around on Cantonica.
"Probably attempting to sway some of the diplomats." Master Zul snickered. "I am expected back at headquarters, but my Apprentice is more than capable of handling this. She will take care of them." he then added, looking at Lavria.
"It will be done, Master." she said, bowing low. She then turned and headed for her fighter where her droid was already waiting.
"Lars, we are heading for Canto Bight. Set a course for us." she told the astromech as she got into the fighter.
With a bleep, the course was set and Lavria left her Master's frigate and headed for Cantonica.

The coastal city was bustling with gamblers, aristocrats and diplomats on holiday. It would be almost impossible to look for someone that don't want to be found in this chaos. Lavria found a little alcove in a small street where she could quiet her mind so she could sense the Jedi. After a few minutes of searching, she sensed them. The Jedi was at the main racetrack.
"Gotcha!" she sneered and then made her way to the edge of the city where the great fathier racetrack could be found.

She located the scum fairly quickly at the track. A small, green creature, was hanging about on the stands. What the little monster was doing, was unclear, as the weakling was not engrossed in diplomatic conversation at all. Lavria sneered. This should be easy.
She started to nonchalantly saunter over to where the little green Jedi was.

Usually if someone asked Yenna to do an errand run, she'd told them to kark off. But when Master Valerius threw in the option to buy herself some nice bottles of hard liquor, she was all for it. His request was a simple one. Just pick up some tailor made outfits and some facial products then she was done.

Upon reaching the planet, though, she realized this would be harder than she thought.

All around her were the rich and aristocrats of the galaxy, enjoying themselves. So many pockets to pick, so many opportunities...she took a large swig of her flask as she tried to calm herself. With immense self control she pressed on, resisting the urge to run off with as many credits as she could. This challenge lasted a fine hour or so before Yenna had a pocket full of credits and other baubles. When she regained control she retreated into an alley and took a moment to realize this was big trouble. She needed to get rid of the credits and stuff, otherwise Master Valerius would be scolding her all the way back to Kashyyyk.

The sound of Fathier hooves gave her an idea. With a confident smile she walked over to the racetrack and immediately betted all the credits on one of the creatures. It was an underdog, way at the bottom of the list. The poor thing's name was even "Slowpoke". She was confident this would solve her problem. So she got comfortable on a balcony, ignored some odd stares and got ready to watch. The race started and her golden eyes followed each one closely. The Fathier was living up to its name. It was dead last. She breathed a sigh of relief and got ready to depart on a job well done....until she felt the ripple in the force. She froze up and slowly turned as she felt the cold creep around her. Through the crowd she spotted her. Sith. Still frozen and unsure what to do, she merely stared at her. She finally snapped out of it when the crowd went wild around both of them. A quick glance at the scoreboard made her heart sink even more. "OH KARK ME!" she shouted in frustration.

Slowpoke apparently didn't want to live up to his name.

She now had a problem on her hands. She was now a couple hundred thousand credits richer and she had a Sith that looked intent to skewer her green ass. She unclipped a lightsaber and glanced around. She maintained her position on the table she was using as a pedestal, glancing around with no clue on what to do with the Sith coming at her. "Um...shoo!" she said with confidence, waving her hand at her to try and shoo her away. Naturally that wouldn't work. So instead she took a sip of her flask with her free right hand and waited her in, curious to see what the Sith's plan was.

Lavria cocked her head to the side in confusion as she approached the Jedi. She did not quite expect the way things were unfolding. The green little blob seemed more interested in the race below them than fighting the Sith. Add to that the fact that the padawan tried to shoo Lavria away as if she were a porg while taking a swig from a flask, and the Sith apprentice was quite curious and amused.
"You are an odd one, aren't you Jedi?" Lavria remarked as she came to a stop in front of the little monster. "What are you doing in Sith Space other than attending Fathier races?" she then asked, unclipping her sabers but keeping them sheathed.

Lavria knew full well that her master would expect her to finish off this scum - it would be easy enough - but she was strangely intrigued by this green little creature with such in interest in the fathiers below them.
"You seem disappointed in the outcome of this race. Did you bet the freedom of an enslaved broom boy on the wrong fathier?" she smirked.

Her entire life's training screamed at her to skewer the little beast and she really did not want to provoke her master's ire - she might end up dead. But her curiosity was at war with her instincts. Maybe if she stalled a bit longer, she can figure out her own decision.
"Now, Oddball, I will honour your tradition to not kill civilians. Care to move this little fight to a place where I can be less distracted by the tempting lives I can use against you? she sneered, resting her hands on her hips, still gripping her sheathed sabers.

To Yenna's surprise, the Sith didn't immediately attack. She simply walked up to the table and started chatting. She took another sip of her flask as she stared with wide eyes at the woman. "A good enough reason, is gambling not?" she quipped with a smug grin, taking another swig of her flask. She was going to need some liquid courage and confidence for this meeting. She gave a deadpan expression at the Zabrak's taunting over the race's results. "Actually, having a good day, I was. Unfortunately, ruined it royally, your face has." she fired right back, taking another sip.

She swirled the hard liquor around a little as she listened to the woman's suggestion of taking the fight somewhere else. She sighed, chugged down the last of her flask and then calmly slid it into her pocket. "Better suggestion, I have." she quipped casually as she took a few credits out of her pocket. "Go fix your ugly face with this." she said with a smug grin before opening her hand...and releasing a powerful force push. She let the credits fly with the push at the Zabrak to give her some extra bruises as she simultaneously flew backwards, off the massive balcony. She used the force to slow her drop and finally landed in a roll. When she stood up, she noticed she was right into the middle of the racetrack...and the siren going off only worsened the situation.

She slowly turned her head as a rumbling came closer, and with wide eyes she scrammed to get to the edge of the track. With another force push she hurled herself at the edge and quickly turned to look for the Sith. She only stopped for a second before continuing on. she needed to get out of the open and fast, otherwise she'll never lose her.

The little fool chose the hard way, it seems. The green blob of a Jedi decided to push some credits towards the Sith's face while making her escape. Lavria sighed as she flicked some of her fingers to stop the credits from hitting her face, while the others still gripped her lightsaber. She then walked to edge of the balcony and watched as Oddball scrambled to get out of the way of the oncoming fathiers.
"She wants to make it hard on herself and everyone around her, doesn't she?" Lavria asked herself rhetorically. She then clipped her sabers back on her belt before stretching out her arms an lured a fathier toward her direction. It's jockey fought against the reigns to no avail. The beast came to a stop below Lavria. The Sith removed the jockey from his seat with the Force, before she launched herself off the balcony and onto the fathiers back. She kicked it into movement and they sped over the open ground after the little Jedi.

The little monster was fast, but not fast enough to outrun a beast bred for racing that was driven even harder by a Sith. Before long, the little Jedi was close enough that Lavria could grab her in a Dark Sided Force choke. While holding onto the blob with one hand, Lavria slowed the fathier to a halt with the other. Still on the beast, Lavria rested her free hand on her hip while still holding the Jedi in front of her.
"Now, that was not very nice, Oddball. If you wanted to have a little chase, all you had to do was ask. But I think it's your face that needs to be fixed." she sneered. She then dropped her hand, slamming the little monster into the ground hard with the Force. She immediately followed up by launching herself of the fathier in a somersault, igniting her sabers as she did so. She landed on the ground in front of the little monster, sabers at the ready.
"I'm sorry if that hurt. It was intentional." she smiled, ready for what the little Jedi could throw at her. "At least you are not as boring as the rest of your Order. This could be fun." she added as she pulled the Dark Side close around her, her golden eyes glowing in anticipation of using it. "Now, what is your business here?"

A quick glance behind her made her heart sink. The Sith was coming at her on a Fathier now. To make matters worse, security was now moving in towards them both with blasters at the ready. She hoped they were set to stun. She then started to feel her neck closing on her and it didn't take a genius to figure out why that was happening. She had to act quickly before the Sith got to her.

She spun around and sent a push at the Fathier's legs to send it into the ground and the Sith with it to stop her hold on her. Her free hand finally ignited her green lightsaber as security started to fire stun bolts at the both of them. Using the force, she boosted her movement and blocked the blue rings without a problem. She kept moving forward, not wanting to get bogged down with the Sith still coming at her. She hopped and slid past guards towards the exit where she ran for the nearest spot that would lead her away from the racetrack. It wouldn't take much for the sith to track her down but right now that wasn't a problem. She just needed to finish her actual reason for being on Cantonica then she could kark off back to Jedi space. The last thing she wanted now was to go to a Sith prison.

She finally got back into the city proper and made for an alleyway where she stopped to catch her breath. Out of habit she reached for her flask and tried to take a sip, only to groan in frustration when nothing came out of it. She put it away and closed her eyes to calm herself. She could feel the Sith was getting closer and closer through the Force. She was probably going to have to fight her eventually...and if that were the case, she was going to have to stock up on the necessities to even the playing field...

Luckily that shop for necessities was just by her.

She walked into the liquor store and after proving that she was quite literally a hundred years over 18, she walked out with several bottles of alcohol and her flask full of a rather expensive and lethal brandy she couldn't pronounce the name of. But it gave her the boost she needed and that was all that mattered. She took a sip from the bottle and put it away into the bag again before looking around the beautiful busy street. The sith was close. She just needed to remain vigilant.

She gripped her unignited lightsaber tight to her chest as she started to walk through the streets, her head on a swivel for both her shuttle as well as the Sith...

Before Lavria could do much more, the Jedi had pushed the Fathier's legs out from under it. As it started falling to the ground, Lavria let go of the little monster launched herself from the saddle, igniting her lightsabers as she went. She landed gracefully on the ground and deflected the blue rings shot by the security. In the meantime, the little Jedi had made a beeline for the city. Lavria sighed before she threw the Force at the security, sending them flying. She then sped off after the blob.

She lost the Jedi as they reached the city, but she could still feel her presence faintly. Lavria scanned through some of the streets for a while, her senses wide open to feel the slightest tremor of Force. Finally, she could feel the tiny monster's presence quite strongly. She launched herself on top of one of the buildings to get a better view of her surroundings. Before long, she saw the Jedi walking out of a shop below her. The little alien was taking a swig from her flask again. Lavria was quite intrigued with this specimen. The tiny, green Jedi was acting very differently from any other Jedi Lavria had dealt with in the past.

The Sith perched on the roof-ledge like a Loth-bat as she watched the interesting little spectacle, her golden eyes glowing with ever-present malice. Her arms were crossed over her knees, her retracted sabers still in her hands.
"You do like to run, don't you?" Lavria asked rhetorically down at the Jedi. She sincerely hoped the Jedi didn't start running again. She'd hate to kill the little fool before heard the Jedi's story.
"What's in that flask?" she then asked, the curiosity quite prominent in her voice. She really wanted to learn more from the little blob before she disposed of her. She smirked at the little alien. "Who are you?" she continued, lifting her chin somewhat while looking down at the Jedi. "You don't fit the Jedi way very well, to be honest."

Yenna spun around and looked up at the Sith above her, taking a few steps back. But she didn't run. She was done running. The girl asked about the flask and Yenna merely shrugged. "Twelve year old Tevraki whiskey. Think, what do you?" she retorted with a deadpan stare. She asked her name but Yenna merely stared with a frown. She wasn't going to give her name up to a Sith.

As the Sith commented on her as a Jedi, Yenna simply dropped her flask into a pocket and opened up a bottle of brandy. She took a long, hard swig of that and looked back up to the Sith. "Well duh, still learning, I am." she commented before taking another swig. Her face contorted somewhat at the strength of the liquor but it disappeared in an instant as she took another sip. "End, the galaxy will, like a Jedi, the day I look." she commented as she placed the bottle on the ground and unclipped a lightsaber from her belt. She was already feeling a buzz but she forced herself to focus. Unknowingly, she was purging the alcohol in her system while she focused on the Sith.

Her thoughts were clearing and her doubts were dissipating. She was ready for this Sith. "Not much of a Sith you look like, either. Supposed to be scary, I thought they were." she quipped with a smug grin as she watched her. "So, going to do, what are we? Keep asking names? Or, go and get wasted, can I already?" she asked her as she gestured to the bag of drinks on the ground. In all honesty, those were more Adrian's than hers. She could tolerate losing a bottle in a fight with this girl, but if she lost Adrian's drinks she would never forgive herself.

She moved to stand in front of the bottles in the plastic bag, moving her bottle of brandy into the pile once more. She really didn't want to fight. But this Sith didn't look like she was going to offer any other options...

The little sleemo gave a few witty remarks while jugging at some bottle of liquor. Lavria smirked at her comment about the Sith that were supposed to be scary.
"How many Sith have you faced, little one? Probably not many and certainly not alone, or you'd be dead. You still might be, once I'm done here." she said, still with half a smirk.
The little Jedi tried to steer the conversation to a close. She looked ready for a fight. Lavria sighed inwardly.
"Just tell me what it is you are doing here, and I'll be on my merry way." she said sinisterly, still perched on the edge of the roof. Obviously she could not allow a Jedi to prance around in Sith Space. Her master would kill her if she did that. But there was something about this small monster that stayed her hand for now. "Answer some questions, and you can return to your drinking and gambling."

She finally dropped down to the street below, her sabers still in her hands but still sheathed. She approached the little blob without menace.
"Why the Jedi?" she asked, genuinely curious. "They are no fun at all. All equally boring and equally pretentious. Your personality is wasted on them." she added, as she stopped a few paces from the Jedi.
Although she was curious, Lavria was no fool either. She kept her sabers at the ready so that she could ignite at a moment's notice. She also held the Force close, ready for anything the little sleemo might try - her senses wide open.
