What is Love?

Ura sat on one of the benches in the Silver Rest's halls, looking through some holopictures of some of her friends on Yurb. Most would probably have trouble telling everyone apart, but she could. She flipped through the images until she stopped on one. One that looked like two Lervon with the same set of legs formed. Her twin friends, Yearda and... Oredis. If she could blush a bit she would. She had had a crush on Oredis for a while now, but there were a lot of things that made Ura nervous about ever trying. For one, Oredis and Yearda were twins, which for Lervon meant they could never be apart, but worse than that, the Padawan just didn't know how. She just... wasn't the romantic type, and it embarrassed her a bit since she couldn't just blurt her feeling out like some. She sighed, leaning back a little.

The time Hope spent with the Silver Jedi have been very enlightening to say the least. Kashyyyk was vastly different to his homeworld of Lothal. Yet the Loth-Wolf enjoyed exploring the dense forests along with the Silver Rest. Like Caedyn had told him, the Silver Jedi have been very accommodating. It seems all Hope's worries vanished when he actually got to the Rest. There was not really much surprise when a giant wolf walked down the halls, mostly curiosity. Hope smiled.

Hope slowly walked through the halls of the Silver Rest. His nails clicking against the floor softly, tail swaying slowly, and a barely auditable panting could be heard. Today he was making himself more familiar with the grounds. So far it was going well. Hope's ears perked up when he heard a sigh. His head cocked when he looked over to the source of the sound.

He smiled as he noticed the Lervon. Making his way over to her.

"Something troubling you, friend?" Hope asked, a hint of concern in his voice. He did admit he had never met a species quite like her's. Of course he wasn't going to let that stop him from trying to help.

Ura looked at the picture a little longer before she heard a voice. She jumped a little, lowering the image to see a Loth-Wolf in front of her. One that could talk. He asked the Lervon if something was troubling her, and the sand-like being shifted nervously. She then settled herself, and tried to lie the wolf, though she could hide her feelings in the Force.

"Oh? No. Everything's fine. I'm fi.... Gah! Lervon can't lie around other Force users. Yes. Something's, as you said, troubling me." She sighed again, eyeing the holopicture again. "I.... Really it's embarrassing." She wasn't quite sure she wanted to tell this person what was going on, but they did actually take an interest in her. Maybe she could tell them.

Sigyn was walking around the different parts of the Silver Rest, taking in all the sights. Sure, she had been part of the Order for some time now, though it felt like she had just arrived. There was still parts of the Silver rest that were unknown to her. And even if she had walked these halls before, it always felt like there was something new to see in them.

And even if she found nothing to see on the walls around her, there was always the different people walking around just like her. Most of the specieses she saw there were new to her. As was the case right now, when a giant wolf came into her sight when she had rounded a corner. Sigyn's first thought was to grab her spear, and charge at the wolf. That was what anyone on her homeplanet would have done. But since the wolf was here, at the jedi temple, it couldn't be a wild wolf like those her people hunted.

Sigyn slowly approached the wolf, and to her surprise, saw her fellow padawan [member="Ura Iolar"] sit NeXT to the wolf. Sigyn knew Ura a little bit, and she was probably one of the jedi she knew best. From the sound of the conversation Ura was having With the wolf, something was bothering her. "What's the matter?" Sigyn asked as she sat Down NeXT to Ura.

It was apparent that something was troubling Ura. She began to speak, she said nothing was troubling her at first, then she admitted that it was something embarrassing. The Loth-Wolf tilted his head intrigued. He noticed that she glanced down to the holopic. Just as Hope was about to speak, another person approached. Hope watched as she sat down next to Ura, asking if something was wrong.

Hope shifted his gaze between the two. Giving a slight nod and a smile.

"Greetings... He said to the redheaded woman. "It appears that she is having trouble with someone close to her..." Hope guessed. He looked around for a second.

Hope had troubles with his pack. He never really fit in, constantly breaking away and gazing up to the sky. Wanderlust had always called to him. So of course when the chance to leave Lothal came around, he took it. Hope definitely missed those closest to him, but there comes a time when you have to follow a path that diverges from loved ones.

He looked back to the two sitting on the bench.

"Sometimes having ears to talk to helps." Hope said after a moment of silence.

Ura was about to answer when Sigyn, someone she had met before during training sessions, but the Loth-Wolf was quicker to answer. He said that she was having a problem with someone close to her, which made her let out her embarrassment through the Force, and giving the intelligent wolf a crossed look with the glowing regions that were her eyes.

"I'm not having trouble with them. It's just...." She clammed up again, her arms almost seeming to sink into her form, as if an instinct to try and look smaller. She wasn't sure if she wanted to say what was going through her head, but then the Loth-Wolf spoke again, saying that sometimes having someone to talk too helped. She seemed to get her form back before looking between Sigyn and Hope. "Ok, but could I know your name first," she asked Hope. "I've met Sigyn before, but not you." Once she had that answer, she began to speak in her normal monotone, and held up the holopicture of the Lervon twins.

"Well, these two hear are some of my best friends. A brother and sister named Ordis and Yearda Xalen. Twins." She pointed to the two as she spoke, first to the more masculine looking one, then the more feminine looking one. "For... a while now, I've had a.... I've liked.... I have a crush on Ordis. I don't know how to say it though. And it isn't him and Yearda being twins or anything. I just... I'm not.... I don't know how. I've never been a touchy feely kind of person, and I know some Jedi still aren't keen on emotions, so... it's hard to just ask for help." Even though her speech was monotone, the Force revealed her emotions. She was embarrassed, scared, nervous, and just didn't really seem to have a clue about this kind of thing.

This wolf was quite different than any Sigyn had ever met before. For one, it could talk. And it was polite, which was something Sigyn had never thought a wolf could be. But this one was potentially strong in the force, which could very well be the reason for these things. "I'd also like to know Your name," Sigyn said after Ura had uttered the wish.

She looked at the Picture of the twins Ura held up. To her, they looked almost identical, put she guessed Ura could easily tell them apart. The Next Ura said came as a shock. She had a crush on one of the twins. When she had sat Down on this bench, Sigyn had not expected to hear this. But it wasn't an uncommon thing to have, even among the jedi. At least from what Sigyn had understood. It had apparantly been pretty rare for jedi to have... relationships, in the past. It wasn't unheard of, it was just very rare.

When she came to her senses again, Sigyn put her hand on Ura's shoulder. "Well, I'm not sure how much help I can be in this matter," she said. "I'm not a, as you called it, touchy-feely kind of person, either." Now, she looked at the floor, and let her hand slide away from Ura's shoulder. Her voice was monotone as she continued. "I have never had a boyfriend, even though I was brought to the jedi late. My village wasn't very big, and I never met anyone I liked in that way. So I don't know how to deal With these Things."

After a short while, she looked back up, and her voice was normal when she spoke again. "But if I can help in any way, I will try." With that, she offered a smile to her friend and the wolf.

(Sorry for the wait. Was trying to wait for Hope)

A calmer energy would begin to come from Ura as Sigyn spoke, explaining her own situation. She'd never had a boyfriend, not being interested in anyone where she lived. Even so, she was still willing to help, and that put Ura more at ease. "Thank you. I'll take any help I can get." Sandy body shifted a little, moving to a more upright posture before looking to Sigyn again. "So what advice could you give me on this. I... I don't even know where to start."

[member="Sigyn Vanir"] [member="Hope"]

What advice to give? thought Sigyn. She didn't know where to start herself, even less so because she didn't know Ura's twin friends. Nor could she tell the twins apart. "Alright," she began, her voice unsteady. "First, you should decide if you truly want to tell him. And if you do, be prepared for the possibility of rejection."

Sigyn bit her lip before she could continue. Great start Vanir, you don't want to throw in the possibility of him laughing at her too? she thought. "But it will most likely be alright. I don't know much about Your species, so I don't know how you do romance. But you should probably lead up to it in conversation first, and not just blurt out that you like him."

That was one option Ura had. The other would be to not say anything to her crush. "Bu if you choose to wait before telling him, I'll be here if you need support. On a planet I was on With my master, I heard someone say that ice cream should help when you have trouble With romance. How frozen blue milk will help is Beyond me, but what do I know."

This hadn't been the best advice, but it was the only thing she could think of on a whim like this. If nothing else, she hoped it could give her friend some Comfort.

(Again, sorry. This kinda got buried.)

Ura looked at Sigyn listening carefully. She didn't seem too keen on the idea of being rejected, and it was probably a reason she didn't want to say anything. She didn't quite know how to respond to her friend's advice though, it was good advice, but the Lervon was still a bit worried. It did help to hear that Sigyn was willing support her if she needed it. It was comforting, knowing she had someone to talk to about this. Ura did chuckle a bit at her last comment about the ice cream, even if she didn't quite understand eating.

"Thanks Sigyn. I don't quite understand the ice cream thing either, more for not understanding eating, but I guess it help."
