What Is Rightfully Mine (Hutt Cartel)

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
The White Palace. Kay had been there many times, first as an invited guest and other times, not so much. Being there once more made her feel a bit of anxiety. The last time she was on this planet, she had been taken to the slave camp, only to later be brought to a mental institution created by [member="Thraxis"] in an attempt to break her. For the most part it failed, but it did leave her doubting herself more, questioning what was reality and also decreasing her slave liberation activities to a degree.

With rumours spreading of the Hutt Cartel being a disbanded mess, Kay took it upon herself to make her way over there and to look for her lightsaber. It was taken when she was first captured and she knew that Sempra had it displayed somewhere. She just had to find it. The hilt of the saber itself was kind of pretty to look at as it was brass in colour, a gift from her late husband. Though she hardly used it much, that lightsaber had a lot of sentimental value.

Getting near to the White Palace was easy as she disguised herself as a spice smuggler, hiding her face and head with a scarf. She also plumped up her figure a bit with extra clothing.

There weren't very many guards as the palace seemed almost abandoned. So she went off to one of the first rooms that she had thought to look. The Throne Room.

[member="Vinskk Revamp"]

Lady Kay was in for a surprise when she entered the room, however.

Sempra wasn't the one sitting on the throne.

It was Vinskk Revamp.

The Trandoshan sat alone in the mostly empty room, his head resting on a spaded claw. He was simply there, just considering the mostly empty Palace and pondering the Hutt Cartel and life itself, when a heavily clothed humanoid walked in unannounced. He stared at the figure and the figure stared back at him. How rude to interrupt. But perhaps he or she was a new recruit?

"We were not expecting you."

His statement rang out throughout the empty throne room, followed by a silence as the King of Trandosha studied the...spice dealer...? He or she smelled familiar. Perhaps they met before?

And she stared. This was not going to be easy. The hatred that [member="Vinskk Revamp"] had for her almost equalled that of Thraxis. Kay glanced about the Throne Room as Vinskk had referred to himself in plural form. But she didn't see anyone else at the moment. They could be well hidden.

Kay cleared her throat a bit and when she spoke, she made her voice sound raspy and older than what was normal. Although she was a horrible liar, her coverings hid her face so that her expressions weren't so easily read.

"So the rumours are true. Lord Sempra has retired....But who are you to sit on his Throne?"

The Trandoshan clicked, nonchalant in tone, sounding almost bored, really.

"Who am I? I am the King of Trandosha. I am the Slave Master, the cause of much misery and pain for the Scorekeeper's amusement. I am the leader of the Hutt Cartel now. You may call me King Revamp, his Majesty."

Distracted, Vinskk examined his talons, then gestured for the figure to step forward. He was interested in getting to know what this person wanted. Was he here to plunder the weakened Cartel? Or to join?

[member="Lady Kay"]

Thraxis had been ever present in the Torture Chambers of the Cartel, though he had been bored out of his wits end with nobody of interest entering into these hollowed halls, the echoing screams of the damned that so vividly enchanted the chambers had done nothing to appease Thraxis insatiable desire for someone of interest, rather then just prisoners of war he wanted something special. He as busy looking over his computer, a bottle of booze in his left hand while his right typed along the keyboard writing up his own personal entry into it.

"Another boring day of work. The dreary screams are no longer filling me with joy anymore, every prisoner her can sate the Gammoreans appetite but I need a challenge. I've been looking over what could be a challenge. I have heard a Mandolorian could be a challenge to break. I was also thinking of maybe a Jedi or Sith master. Geez, they would be so delightful to hear their screams echo into my eardrums. Oh well. not like we will ever get someone of such power in these areas. They all run away before they can be caught." he finished typing into his computer, before he got up and started to take a wander through the area to look at how well the Gammoreans were doing their job.

She tilted her head to the side a bit as she pondered over what he had said. Now he was the leader of the Cartel? Great.....As if Sempra wasn't bad enough. But maybe he would be too busy with his own planet to rule from the White Palace.

When beckoned she stepped forward, but stopped with enough distance to keep herself safe should [member="Vinskk Revamp"] choose to leap at her. For even though he looked lazy and bored at this moment, that didn't mean that his reactions wouldn't be quick. When she stopped she bowed from the waist and then spoke again in that raspy voice.

"You rule over two kingdoms, Your Majesty? That is a remarkable feat. What is to become of this Palace? Will you be keeping it or basing operations on Trandosha?"

Oh she had to stop herself from asking too many questions. If she was going to snoop around for her lightsaber, then she needed to do so alone. Of course little did she know that [member="Thraxis"] was wandering the halls too.

He began to pick his teeth with his sharp talons, finding a piece of meat in there. So that's what was there.

"I suppose things ought to stay here. I have a question of similar importance, though. Who are you, nosy one? It's not every day that a spice dealer can infiltrate the White Palace, after all..."

With a lazy wave of a hand, two Gammoareans came out of the shadows next to the door and crossed their axes across the entrance, blocking the only way to leave. Vinskk hissed and beckoned forward to the covered person.

"Come closer."

Oh...great. She heard the axes as they crossed, the metal blades screeching over eachother. Kay didn't need to turn and see what had happened.

She tried to act casual as she stepped a little closer by a couple of steps, again speaking in that raspy voice. "You give me too much credit. This Palace is virtually empty, Your Majesty...."

Who was she? Ummm....umm...think, think, think! Must sound convincing. "My boss works for Cadan Tazi and he heard the rumours, so he sent me to investigate." Yeah, that sounded good.

[member="Vinskk Revamp"] [member="Thraxis"]

Vinskk looked up and blinked slowly, his voice low and cold.

"Tazi. Tazi would have checked himself. You are full of lies, spice dealer. That didn't answer the question, however. Who. Are. You."

Revamp suddenly stood up, breathing in deeply with his nose as he approached the disguised Lady Kay.

"Your scent...I know of it.

Kay only had a window of time before the Trandoshan physically found out who she was.

She folded her arms across her chest as [member="Vinskk Revamp"] approached, narrowing her eyes slightly in a bit of show of growing anger.

"Rae Anna, Your Majesty. And my boss isn't very trusting of Cadan Tazi as he feels that he was scammed out of some credits. Smugglers don't trust anyone. It's our code."

She had used her long lost adopted daughter's name. At least then it was a name that she could believe in instead of a made up one.

"The Scorekeeper must favour you greatly for your successes of ruling two kingdoms." Flattery. Maybe that would distract him.

[member="Thraxis"]

Revamp paused in front of this Rae Anna, breathing in her scent deeply. Where the kark had he meet him before?

Ah, flattery. A stroking of ego did many an underling well enough, but for him, the respect and groveling was expected. Call it Trandoshan pride. So he wasn't particularly impressed.

"Indeed, She does..."

Vinskk stalked around the heavily clothed figure, pacing around him or her in a circle. That much clothing...it was probably trying to conceal it's identity. Whoever this was, they had something to hide. The King spoke again, voice a low growl.

"It is not polite in the presence of a King to remained capped. Take off your headgear."

The Trandoshan squinted hard at Anna, trying to see if it would make a move after that. The jig may be up if Kay didn't come up with something on the spot...

She kept perfectly still as [member="Vinskk Revamp"] circled her. Oh he was too close for comfort but she forced herself to remain calm and to act as though such a thing was normal.

"Your Majesty, I keep my face concealed for one reason only...It is too hideous to look at. It makes others feel uncomfortable to look at it and your eyes should not have to be offended by it. Your Majesty should only be required to see things that delight..."

That was what she could come up with on short notice. As her arms were folded, she was able to feel the small blaster that she had concealed on her person. It was set to stun like always .

[member="Thraxis"]

Revamp stopped and stared at the wrapped figure, paused for what seemed like an eternity. He finally spoke, breaking the silence.

"Very well."

Vinskk turned around and sat back on his throne, reclining backwards. With a gesture, the King spoke again, sounding bored yet again.

"You may leave. Go walk around, report back to your boss. Do not steal anything."

And like that, his attention was off of her. But only for now. Once she left, he would have a word with a few people...

[member="Lady Kay"]

She bowed deeply to [member="Vinskk Revamp"] "Thank you for understanding, Your Majesty." She turned on her heel and then walked to the door, the two guards of course moved aside to let her pass.

Once she was away from then and wandering through one of the halls, she breathed a sigh of relief. That was a little too close. Now where could her lightsaber be? Kay began testing each door. Some were locked, but the third one in wasn't. So she stepped inside. There were crates and boxes. Oh boy. This was going to take longer than expected.

And so she began going through them one by one. If there was an inventory list, it would make things a lot easier.

[member="Thraxis"]

As Thraxis wondered the halls his eyes looked to all the victims of cruel and unusual punishment, these people had long since paid their due to the Cartel and would properly have been released to spread the word of the Cartel but Thraxis just couldn't pull to do it. He never was one to throw away a toy after all. "This is dull. Need to get some extensions down here and more booze." his eyes lighted up, he had forgotten to grab any booze today. At this sudden revelation he began to make his way above ground, though he had to look for the head Gammorean. He spent a few minutes until he found him, or what was left of his frame. He needed to be fixed up, so reconstructive surgery was done, they fixed him up with metal teeth, as was his horns, though in his few months of working with Thraxis the steel had morphed, never remaining the same color, for every species he dealt with had stained his horns and teeth it was as if it was always changing, such was the ways of the Galaxy.

"Wha' ye whan boss?" he inquired, his voice had been roughed up since the beating, no longer did it squeak like a pig, it was to coarse and grainy to be eligible for most, but since Thraxis caused this he just felt like this guy had to be the boss. That and when he inquired what they know no-one could understand him and it would only prolong the suffering. "Imma getting a drink, be back soon, until then your in charge. So when I get back I want to see a 30% increase in blood, and 100% increase in Screams." he responded to the inquiry, only to be met with a metallic grin and a heavy nod. And with that Thraxis was up the elevator in no time, and already he could hear the screams echo louder. Damn these Gammoreans are good. Maybe I should start trying to get more involved. But quickly put the idea behind him, he needed more booze to get a clear head to do this job with any joy.

Black sigh, annoyed. Since Sempra chose to retire everything had sort of died. It was a dispute about the throne currently and if that wasn't enough one of his Scream Squad had just told him a random spice dealer had just made her way to The White Palace. He shook his head, kicking from his speeder. He had sped across the short distance between The Testing Lab and The White Palace, armed to the teeth as usual. You never know when the fighting was going to happen.

He strolled lightly up the stairs, pulling his hat over his eyes. He had a slight hatred for The White Palace, aware it had never really done much for him. He slid through the doors, walking the distance to the throne. He locked eyes with Vinskk, shaking his head. He started with a pause. "So, you choose to sit where Sempra sat do you? You believe you have the power, the right to rule two places, two things? You have people that will riot Vinskk" he told him, eyes locking on him.

Jardo felt out with the force, meditating. Something he'd never really bothered to try and do until his step away from the darkside of the force. He was in a small cave a few hours walk from The White Palace. He had come to hand himself in, hand himself in or fight to take out the Cartel finally. He wasn't quite sure yet. He had heard the stories that Sempra had stepped down and he shrugged, all the more reason to step forward.

He felt out with the force again, locking on a presence within the White Palace... he jumped, eyes flying open, energy container pulling itself from the wall. Why was Lady Kay in the Palace, why was Lady Kay giving herself up? He shook his head, sprinting from the cave. He jumped onto his speeder, pushing the throttle to the top. He growled, why was she giving herself up to the men who had held her hostage? He shook his head, feet behind him, allowing the speeder to go as fast as, as quick as he could push it. He wasn't letting Kay give herself up, not this time.

He felt the speeder hit The White Palace only a few minutes later, a mix of top speeds and the force pushing it along. He stood outside the door, waiting. He flicked his hood up, robes hiding his weapons. He had his plan, his idea. It just involved giving himself up for it. He stepped into the throne room, eyes locking with the back of Xander Black's head. What would his friend think of the situation. He gave a little cough, nodding.

Vinskk looked at Xander, blinking slowly and hard before a clicking chuckle emanated from his maw.

"My people adore me. I have brought the trade of death and blood back to Trandosha, Human. My people are satisfied, content with the hunt and the kill."

Slight anger made him sit up, directing his booming voice to the man on the other side of the chair, his large physique bristling.

"Do I have the RIGHT to sit on this throne? Of course I do. Who else would lead? No mere thug can do what I do, or what Sempra did. It takes brains and common sense. That is why he chose me, Human. Do not fear. I will not purge the old administration, although I should...no, you shall serve me as loyally and as faithfully as you served the Hutt. Or...you will die. Simple, practical, efficient. It's not for personal reasons, of course. I just need loyal men and women in this time where fractures in power may happen, weakening us all."

The Trandoshan didn't notice the man behind Xander, as he was directly blocking him. Revamp continued.

"Let us test your loyalty, eh? There is an unannounced guest here. A spice smuggler. However, I feel there is more to this person than he admitted. Find him and bring him to me, alive. Preferably. He's wrapped in cloths and whatnot. I could send Gammorreans, but...I am questioning your priorities to the Cartel, Human. Go. You are dismissed."

With the flick of his hand, the throne Gammorreans began to push Xander and Jardo, who hadn't been seen by Revamp, out with their axes and porcine grunts.

Raka grunted as his hoversled stopped suddenly. The Hutt looked up and saw the vastness of the White Palace. Today was both a sad and happy day. Sempra, and old friend of Raka, had retired and gave the position of ruling the cartel to someone else. Raka didn't not know who it was since he was stuck on Nar Shaada for the week but Raka knew Sempra so it was likely another powerful Hutt to take his place. As the doors opened, Raka slowly got off his hoversled and made his way to the throne room.

Feel free to kill a few Scream Squad if you want :D

Xander growled, eyes flashing to the Gamorrians. He flicked back at Vinskk, sighing. "Don't forget who was, and last I checked, still is Major Domo. Don't forget the ships I gave your army" he poked, smiling lightly under his hat. "Don't forget who's right behind me" he muttered, feeling Jardo's breath on his shoulder, hearing Jardo whisper to him. Xander stepped aside, setting to work finding the spice dealer.

He stepped into a long corridor, strolling down the familiar corridors he had once stepped down. He pulled out him comlink, the leader of his personal scream squad the other side. He knew what he needed to do, smirking lightly. "Drago, I need you to form the troops. We have a wild...."spice dealer" loose in The White Palace and a thug on the throne. Take the thug into custody and I'll bring you the spice dealer. Protect Snow at all costs" he told him, nodding.

He set off after the spice dealer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drago would instantly break to the armoury, sirens blazing around them. Members of Scream Squad would break into a sprint around him, each grabbing their weapons and armour. They would all regroup in the hanger bay, all eighty five men crowding into some select shuttles to carry them the distance between the base and The White Palace. The shuttles, all empty but the seats they housed to house the troops. The doors closed onto the troops, the pilots getting them airborne as soon as.

The shuttles would approach the White Palace within minutes, each man knowing their assignments. Take the Trandoshion on the throne into custody to stand trial for treason to The Hutt Cartel while Drago went with two men to assist Xander in his goal. Jardo Snow was to be kept alive at all costs. Each man tense, each man knowing that if this failed they would all be forced to stand trial for treason and other illegal crimes.
