What is the fate of Corellia?

I'm new here, so forgive my ignorance. I can't seem to find Corellia on the galaxy map. I wanted to make a character of Corellia but I cant tell if it exists... Is it on there and I'm just blind? If something did maybe remove it, what was it? Because maybe then I could work it into my character. Sorry if this isn't the right place for this. I didn't know where to ask.

It is currently called "Brokellia."

During the site's last big event, a world from the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy was being superimposed to take place of Corellia. During this some things went down and the two worlds occupied the same space, causing only half of the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy world to come into existence.
Both halves are suitable for life, and the Corellians are still there.

Broken in half during Netherworld by Akala; now called Brokellia (half Corellia, half Lashtu)Arceneau Trade Company along with Titan Industries have done a wealth of work and fundraising with Brightstar Industries to rebuild Corellia and bring it back to a fragment of it's former glory. New terraforming technologies have been utilized to slowly bring together the broken halves. Former Employees of Titan, IE the Corellian Natives, have come to work with Arceneau Trade in the wake of Alric Kuhn's original disappearance.

Unlike other systems, no Yuuzhan Vong technology has ever touched the Corellian System per established agreements, and reconstruction efforts are continually underway.

In summary, think broken halves of planets smushed together with a massively large asteroid belt. In the aftermath of Corellia's breaking, rescue crews in the deepest fissures discovered deposits of an odd red metal. Chemical tests confirmed that the substance was a variant of havod, with minor differences that defied analysis. Speculation as to the source of those differences ran the gamut from ancient Celestial intervention to the heat and stress of planet-breaking to the leftover effects of Akala's Nethermancy. Whatever the reason, once refined the metal was stronger than normal havod alloy, which generally does not occur in nature. The new metal was dubbed Corellian bloodsteel. It has become a symbol of Corellians' lost homeworld and a desirable choice for weapons or starships owned by Corellians -- but it has also attracted the wrong kind of attention to Corellia.

Currently, there is a non-interventionist trip to Corellia to provide a 'pilgrimage' to the Broken World to facilitate the formation of the 'Green Jedi/Corellian Jedi Enclave'. The trip has been cleared with One Sith Administration ahead of the time of posting this thread, with their blessing. It is led by [member="Julius Sedaire"] and they ask kindly that folk remain out of the thread unless they have a very compelling reason to be there(in case of opposition), and if one does wish to be there, please PM [member="Julius Sedaire"] before posting. They aren't going to get out of this without One Sith intervention/involvement, but it is being planned as the beginning of a long-standing rivalry and antagonistic relationship, but for this time out it is laying the story basis, and isn't a PVP slug match. If you have a character you are interested in having along for the ride, and aren't in the tag list, please PM [member="Julius Sedaire"] or post in the OOC thread.

This young scholar cares not for galactic warfare. He only cares for knowledge of all things in the Force. Light, Dark, Normal, Magick, Alchemy, Sorcery, all of it. He shall learn all he possibly can, then make his move on the wider scale of things.

[member="Jareb Kaine"] - I've been super busy trying to iron out some school things, and personal issues. But yes.. Corellia is a Sith world, sort of, for now. If you're interested in getting in on some action focusing on the Broken Wolrd please don't hesitate to PM me. The holidays appear to have slowed or momentum on the first trip, but i'm about to begin incessantly provoking I mean blackmailing everyone I mean politely reminding everyone to post there.

The One Sith have actually been a treat to work with on this missive, and I hope you'll join us. I've been tossing around the idea of a Minor Faction so we can keep things organized. Maybe we'll see you there?

[member="Julius Sedaire"] [member="Coren Starchaser"] Yeah as soon as I get my character finished I'd love to join in. Convenient time to make a Corellian it seems, as a liberation effort could make for an interesting motivation. Thanks!

As the Voice of the Sector that contains the two halves of Corellia, I welcome light siders to come play on the world.

I'll even offer a personal tour!

Oh, that fleet of Star Destroyers? Nothing to worry about, trust me.
