What is Your Connection to The Force?

The Jedi are Guardians of Peace and Justice in the Galaxy.

The Prophecy of the Chosen One; One who would bring Balance to the Force.

The Role of a Jedi; Keepers of the Peace, not Soldiers.

The Force is an Energy Field, it connects us, it binds us, it penetrates us.

What would be your Connection to the Force? ect.

And Thinking of Force Powers, what would you consider to be "The Power of the Force" ?

My character see's the force as the current niether light nor dark until tainted by our desires. True prowess in achieved by becoming submersed in this power and reaching out through it like ripples from a rock in the water, by this he can reshape the world to his will. Then again he has studied the techings of the white current, the shapers of kro, the jedi sith and many others

I believe the Darkside of the Force should be embodied and not broken to will. I follow the Darkside's commands swiftly even if they are without purpose. I am the Darkside's willful manifestation, In return I hold great power, A power that is killing me slowly because I am too weak to contain it all.

The Force is the energy of life within all things, and everyone deserves equal respect because of it.
Whatever religion or code you follow, you are all equal in the eyes of the Force, and therefore you are all equals.
The Force is not corruptive; only the hearts and minds of men are, and whatever action they take stem from their own decisions.

I think it's an energy field that connects all living things. One of those mysterious higher laws of science and nature. And while fictional, I believe all legends contain a shred of truth which rings familiar to the ears of the human family.

There appears to be two recognized sides of the Force according to it's practitioners. Canon or simply philosophical. The "Light Side", which possesses a will of it's own and is therefore either intelligent or made up of intelligences, plural. And the "Dark Side", which is possessed with great power and equal opportunity but appears to spawn from the temptations and desires of it's practitioners firstly. While the "Dark Side" is controlled by the strength or willpower of it's faithful, it might also possess an intelligence or intelligences plural as well? Though, as such intelligence(s) would appear conflicted and subservient at best.

I believe the Force is simply one man's interpretation of the forces of good and evil reset into a fictional, "Religious Reality". A genre in which it's characters can interact with God and Conflict tangibly. And I think that the Star Wars genre itself has been written, filmed, gamed, and scripted with many diverse interpretations in mind. Thusly, no singular answer will ever suffice to explain The Force in it's fullness.

Which is also why I think it's so much fun to play with too. :D :p

The Force. That's just a bunch of space magics few are gifted with. But it is a powerful tool that some by my side posses and can use. Which brings a benefit for everyone on my team. I both fear and respect it, and have gone to some lengths to protect myself against it. I know though while a great warrior can be built around The Force. They are not gods, but men or alien. They may fall like any other, with no degree of difficulty more. Except for guys like [member="Mikhail Shorn"]. You need to nuke them.

The Force is that fun little thing that lets me stay sober when I drink excessively, and also the thing that lets me hurl fireballs at stuff...

It's like a really dangerous multitool.

The force is a tool that should be utilized for what you believe in. Be it a faction, your team, family or your own personal desires and pleasures. Chaos is a form of this tool. I use it to keep those who I love safe.

The force is the entity that breathes life into creation, like the warmth in the clay that became man. It is the hand that guides you to where you wish to be, the arms that hold you when you are alone. To Silara, to me, it is the intangible entity that forms the jealousy and lust that she feels for other women's men when she sees someone attached. She feels the same way they do to the force, but because she cannot get that satisfying reciprocation it causes her to feel strained and stressed, breaking her mentally.

Then again I'm inebriated, so who knows.

I use the Force when I feel like it, I guess.

Every person has to figure out how the force works for them. The Jedi, the Shapers, the Sith, the Fallanassi, the Aang-ti, Sorcerors, Witches, everyone's got their own approach. All of them work, in a sense. What matters is what you do, I suppose.

That's the thign about the universe. The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

The Force is a gateway to the mind--your mind--and the minds of others. Your mind is not safe.

The Force is a tool that no one should have control of, but I might as well utilize it since I have been given the key.

Do what you can to protect your mind at all costs, or someone worse than me will mutilate it.

"The force is something, strange. It's not something everyone can just buy but it's not something everyone is given. Those who are chosen are meant to do great things. It's their choice how to use it"
-Nomad's thoughts on the force

Rev's connection to the force is his own pain, something that develops into an almost mental instability of anger that he bottles up inside and focus's when he needs. But the pain is superficial, so he feels that the force is the same. It's not something to be worshiped or prayed over, it's something to call out and recall when no longer of use. Like any other weapon in a fight, it serves it's purpose. In his mind, the Force (and specifically the dark side) is a vicious animal that is protective of it's user. It'll attack when asked, even sometimes without provocation, and sometimes it will yank on the leash and bite the hand that feeds (corruption), but it is still a loyal pet to those willing to assert dominance over.
