What you talking about Whills?

Enroute to Jedha

Excitement radiated from the padawan as she sat in the shuttle as it entered the atmosphere of the planet Jedha. Charlie did her best to keep her excitement in check as she waited to hear any further instruction from [member="Finley Dawson"]. It wasn’t unusual to have her following him on missions, ever since she was assigned to him during her initial trainings as a padawan.

Looking down, Charlie remembered when her feet didn’t touch the floor when she sat in one of the chairs of the ship. Now her feet rested comfortably and because of that she felt a bit more secure, not relying wholeheartedly on the seatbelts.

It didn’t take long for the shuttle to touch down, once everything was settled, Charlie quickly gathered her things. She had tagged along and didn’t want to keep Finley from his meeting with the group he was checking in with. A hand brushed aside a stray strand of dark hair from her eyes as she adjusted the soft tan robe that hung off her shoulders.

“Oh Finley,” she inquired cheerfully. “The group name, they’re the Disciple of the Willis? Who is this Willis?” She folded her arms in front of her as she followed him, she was curious as to who was this important to have a following such as this. “What are they wanting from the Jedi?”

"Whills," he gently corrected as he landed the Nosey Knave. "The Disciple of the Whills. They're a Force Organization who worship the Whills. As to who or what the Whills themselves are, your guess is as good as mine."

In his studies of the Whills, he had come across many theories about their identity, ranging from simple chroniclers to microscopic godlike entities that lived in the cells of all beings, shaping the fabric of reality to their liking. Clearly some theories were more fantastical than others, but all lacked any significant evidence of fact. While answering the summons of the Disciples, he hoped to use the opportunity to learn the truth.

As per usual Charlie was already up and ready to go as soon as he touched down, but given her previous lines of questioning, he wasn't quite sure she was ready to step outside on the moon.

"Wait," he cautioned. "You best bundle up. It's basically winter conditions on the moon all the time. Nothing like Hoth or Midvinter, but still quite nippy if the thermometor is anything to go by."

Sheepishly smiling, Charlie nodded at the correction. She could have sworn she read willis, though it was probably a good thing Finley corrected her now – before she offended someone. Something like that would not have ended well for the padawan and the knight. Charlie continued to pack a few left-over things up and paused when she was addressed again.

“Bundle up?” The girl blinked a few times and nodded. She remembered the cold on Midvinter, but back then she was lucky enough to have an environment suit that kept her body temperature regulated. Charlie cringed at the thought of having to wear the suit again especially around Finley, it was more embarrassing than getting her face cleaned in public. An uncomfortable smile replaced her usual happiness as she began to dig through her equipment for warmer attire.

It only too her a few moments to find warmer clothing, seeing as she was wise enough to pack for all occasions. The thermal undershirt along with a few layers would keep her warm with her carefully focusing on Tapas when she was feeling a bit chilly. A hand brushed back a few stray strands of her dark hair, “It’s not that bad out there is it?” Charlie spoke quietly trying to hide the uncomfortable thought of the cold.

Thinking it would be best to change the subject, she straighten her posture and prepared to follow Finley. “You think the Whills is just another name for the Force? Maybe they see it differently than Jedi and Sith do, kind of like um the Je’daii?”
