Whats Going On?

I've been gone for a time now, and I am rather confused about whats going on currently in the Galaxy. Would anyone be kind enough to inform me whats happened recently, who our allies and enemies are, and where I may be needed? Thanks so much!

They short version is pure chaos and the Republic is short a few planets thanks to those Heathen One SIth animals.

Havoc Squad is on the border of going Rogue in the eyes of the senate now that their Fearless leader as pissed off more than a few politicians.

The Republic Navy is in shambles after a few of the Senior Officers defected and the rest are only interested in deep cover glory

Think that pretty much covers it.

The One Sith grew from a small threat on the border to a significant galactic power and conquered Coruscant, Empress Teta, and Alderaan. The Protectorate is attempting to liberate Coruscant right now, and we're looking at counterattacking on Alderaan.

The Jedi have moved to Ruusan because Tython is too close to the One Sith border.

CIS and OP are also at war. The New Order of Sith was destroyed by the Mandalorians.

Tensions with the Mandalorians were fraying before the One Sith attacked.

I was recently told that coordination was not permitted, having a goal in mind was not permitted, logical progression of development did not exist here.

It was hinted that I should either embrace the random hard to follow chaos that is SWRP: Chaos or perhaps it was best to go elsewhere.

So yeah I kind of lost all hope for this character. On the Brightside your a JK so you should be fine if your sanity survives.
