What's This Neos City Thing?

Near as I can figure, it's an attempt by [member="Lysle of the Hydian Way"], [member="Isaac Ideus"], [member="Jen"], [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] and [member="Lurcano Car'dann"] to build one big awesome cyberpunk setting. I dig this substantially, and I'm wondering what stage the project is at. Side note, probably relevant: I'm in the cyberpunk business.

Neos City is a nexus of criminal activities and a social nightlife. It will be located in a lawless landscape, allowing free trade of any and all products (spices, slaves, stolen goods, etc). The city will be predominantly advertised as one of a brilliant nightlife, located in a star system without a sun but rather a local nebulae provides warmth (this is canonically done before). Thus the planet is cast in eternal night, allowing a literal 24/7 nightlife, with casino's, brothels, spice dens, podracing and everything the heart desires.

It will be heavily influenced by cyberpunk / dark electronic. It is in its very beginning stages as we're all recovering from recent events. A few role-plays need to be finished before we can begin. This includes getting out of prison, achieve financial backing, securing a network of associates and alliances, and obtaining contracts with various companies. Neos City will also be a neutral ground for criminal organizations to meet.


It's not a faction, it's just a city. We created the 'Faction' to allow us to have a home to draft location submissions.
