Private When All the Dust has Settled

The Knight was drawn to Tatooine. Not entirely knowing why, she suspected it had something to do with the slave trade. Something she could not support. Having been a slave growing up, the tattoo on her arm almost seemed to tingle as she walked through the ramshackle market.

For the most part, these kinds of things had been abolished in civilized worlds. Tatooine might be considered one, but as she wandered the dusty roads, she knew it wasn't civilized. Letting out a growl, she clenched her fist tightly and pretended to be interested in making a purchase.

Her garb was made for the desert, and she fit in easily. A scarf hung around her neck, and her lightsaber was hidden among the folds of her tunic. Walking with some confidence, she sensed somebody watching her. Maybe it was one of the guards or another patron. Seo no longer carried herself or acted like a slave, and it was another lifetime ago when she had been one.

Keeping her sleeves down, she didn't want that tattoo showing. Even if it had faded considerably, it was still something she wore and always would. Stopping at one of the cages, she came eye-to-eye with a young teen. One who reminded her of herself when she had been that age. The lost look of hopelessness, maybe a touch of fear, but she did not enjoy seeing the hope fade from the eyes of these people.

Kalic landed the Starcrest, pulling out his particle repeater from the storage bay before starting to walk towards the markets as he looked around. Someone wanted the slavers in this market broken up, and when it came to stuff like this he didn't really get too picky on who was paying. And so he walked out, Jee floating behind him as he started to make his way into market.

"Hopefully this will be safe...ish."

"Have a little faith, Starcrest."
He said through the strange Force link to his ship. He looked around as he walked in, checking the particle cannon before starting to get closer to the target, hoping he was ready for whatever was going to happen.

Walking past the haunting woman, something inside Seo wanted nothing more than to break the teen free. If she had been a rash person, she might have done just that. However, the former slave usually thought all of her actions through and took the chance to make her move. That girl would be free by the end of today—even if she needed to buy her freedom.

Helping the slavers earn their gold was not what she would normally do, but it was one of many things the Knight could do. As she walked through the market, she noticed the arrival of Kalic. For a moment, the man looked slightly distracted, and she moved out of his way. Noticing the weapon he carried, she wondered what evil he would get into.

Kalic was surprised as he spotted the Jedi nearby. They always looked different to Miraluka. He wondered what one was doing all the way out here. Hopefully he she wouldn't be too upset about what was about to happen.

"Be ready for a quick flight out." He called out telepathically to the Starcrest.

"Of course." Jee meanwhile slid behind the Miraluka as he finally made it outside the.... Main office? Whatever. He didn't even wait before calling out.
"You slavers have a a knack for messing with the wrong people. Picked up the wrong kid, sleemo, so why don't you come on out!" He said, ready to take the shot if anyone tried anything.

The Lorrdian was entirely surprised by Kalic's actions, but all she did was blink. Bringing the scarf up to cover the lower half of her face, she knew a fight was about to happen, and she prepared herself the only way she knew how. Keeping her lightsaber hidden, a hand rested on its hilt now.

What are you planning, friend? I can help.

While Seo was not the greatest telepath, she felt she should be able to contact this man quickly and easily. Waiting to hear what he was going to do, her eyes once again fell onto the form of the now terrified girl.
