Where Are My Criminal Compatriots At?

So, I'm in a mood to write a crime character and reach back to my original RP roots here on this board...and go deeper than before, I suppose.

I've seen a lot of interesting crime characters around briefly, so I think there are a lot of people who are interested in that aspect of Star Wars around here.

Now, I'm looking to meet, well...anyone. To build my character, I'll need interaction with individuals whom Hemlock could potentially cross paths with so as to network with like minded writers and advance the scope and direction of Hemlock.

So, who's interested in interacting with Karrde? It could be anyone, be it brutes, clever girls, self-righteous do gooders, etc.

Orwell, The Librarian
Suggestion: Sign up with the Syndicate, plenty of us black hats around there to talk with.

As for myself, I'm an information broker, though this is admittedly my least active character. That said, it is entirely possible that you may find yourself in need of information from 'Mr. Orwell', so feel free to try and contact me. Believe me, I'll know.

[member="Hemlock Karrde"] We are actually a lot rarer as it seems at times. Crime on Chaos is a very brittle thing, and most factions or groups around it die down quickly.

Yet it you are interested then Hemlock could meet Abyss, who is running a rather big criminal operation spanning several planets for a while now.

I'm not into joining a faction and then role playing. I want it to be natural; to meet people, make friends and have organization happen (in that order). If I don't become friends with my fellow role players, it's only going to serve to feed potential feelings of alienation down the road.

Thus, this LFG post.

I saw a lot of crime/underworld characters in that recent James Justice thread, so I don't think there's a shortage of characters by any means. However, I do see why crime factions don't stay around too long.

Crime isn't supposed to be an orderly society construct. It's messy, destructive and poses a challenge for the good guys. That's why I don't believe in criminal major factions. Major factions imply military expansion, politics anf handling the well being of citizens, neither of which should be at the forefront of a crime faction's priorities.

If you two want to talk more in-depth and faster, just use the link.

Xzara is an untrained dark Jedi and a wanted thief/archaeologist. If you decide to start something I would definitely be interested.

(Also not on discord, hence the message here.)
