Private Where Goals Align

Void Station was one of Lina’s favourite locations, not just for the growing number of units she controlled on it, nor the bustle and diversity of people, but because of its architecture. Someone decided that an asteroid, whose nature was to drift through space, was the perfect location for a spaceport. A spaceport whose coordinates were never precise, so hyperspace jumps had to be done half a parsec away and the rest of the travel by sub light engines so as best not to collide with the floating hump of rock.

Lina had chosen this location carefully for her meeting, familiar territory for herself, in case things went sideways, far enough away from both the Order and the Alliance and with at least a quarter of the station's eyes and ears on her payroll. The unit she had chosen was a newly acquired cantina in the process of refurbishment. Her office overlooked the work below with an internal window, while the external one granted her a view of docking bays that lined the southern portion of the station, and of course, her own ship.

She missed the quiet of Lina Station and the quiet company of droids, but there was only so much one could grow an empire without standing in view. She made a mental note to return soon, just for a week or two to recharge and put her energies back into ship and droid designs.

Her comm-link clicked alerting her to the arrival of her guest on the station. She responded with two clicks and smiled. Her instructions to Darth Strosius Darth Strosius 's “escorts” were clear. Stay out of sight and keep your distance. If the man was worth half his weight in credits, he would spot all of them. Share drew herself away from the spaceport view and rapped hard on the internal window to the workman below and gave them the signal to clear out.

Prophet of Bogan
Alisteri had been to many asteroid stations in his time, most of them backwater black market dens or abandoned mining facilities that had been occupied by pirates, but never before had he set foot in one like Void Station. Just hard enough to reach to dissuade too much activity yet easy enough to find if one knew the proper channels to go through, a perfect place to conduct more clandestine business. He could appreciate such a location given the nature of the meeting that he was striding through it to arrive at.

What he did not appreciate however was the eyes that followed him, gazes that lingered just long enough to give him a hint that he sparked some form of recognition in the faces of those that he had never met before in his life. As usual he had come alone and as such had no distractions to keep him from spotting the various onlookers and seemingly occupied people that lined the crowds of the station.

Alisteri knew well enough that any one of them could have a weapon at the ready should he make his own observation of their lookouts known, and so he kept walking without a care in the world and with no sign that he was aware of his steps being followed by eyes and movement alike. While he had no intention of walking right into a trap or assassin he was also confident enough to not draw any extra attention than was necessary, especially as he finally arrived outside of what seemed to be a vacant cantina where the meeting was to take place.

"I do hope my reservation wasn't forgotten about..." The masked man spared only a single glance behind himself before moving a hand from his cloak to prod at the door's console in order to attempt to gain entry.
