Where Stone touches the Sky

Alderaan, the Jedi Temple.

Faith had not thought to walk the halls of the Temple it seemed wrong for her to do so. This was a place of rest, and learning for the Jedi that came to Alderaan. Some decided to stay on. The bit of control freak that she was she felt that it was time to bring in specialized security for the temple.

Someone who could possibly recognize the uniqueness of the setting, and the temple. She was meeting first with her brother [member="Garith Organa"] who over saw things at the temple. He did not call himself Grand Master like others she did not know why and she did not push her brother to understand why.

Some things were just his choice and the way he lived his life, she did her best not to intrude.

The hall where she stood was sparse and quiet. The walls were white with touches of blue perhaps the clouds and the sky? It was thought provoking to her.

She'd have to ask Garith more questions.

Their guest would be arriving soon.

“Faith, welcome”, Garith words softly echoed through the hall, as he entered. Being friendly and not afraid of such things, he came over and gave his sister a hug. Being the gentle soul he was he did not give a crushing hug.

After the hug, he motioned around them. “It is a beautiful temple”, he looked around thinking of all the hard work the people of Alderaan put into it. You would not normally find a Jedi Temple like this anywhere. Jedi normally lived a simple life free of material wants. Garith did not care for such things but he could appreciate hard work and artistic creativity. He was an artist himself, though his creations were made in the forge below the temple.

“Is this your first time here Faith”, the way she looked around just now gave him the impression this might be here first time. He could be wrong. If that was the case that was ok, it was all part about being mortal. He was alive and back home with the living. Mistakes and all, he was quite happy with that.

Jedi Temple Hangar

"You are cleared to land in hangar B Port 4, welcome to Alderaan, Iron Imperial."

"Thank you very much!" Kiran responded rather joyfully, as his Iron Wrath Interceptor touched down finally. Kiran assumed he got some unwanted attention as he was flying around the city and the part of the planet taking in the sights of this beautiful planet. This was his first trip here, and while he loved Ilum and the Iron Pantheon, he felt this planet could tie in second place with Commenor it terms of his favorite places. He was hailed and wanted to know of his business here and Kiran replied back kindly enough. At which point he was sure they understood, however he didn't want to cause a panic just because he wanted to sight see at low and close heights.

Kiran closed the hatch to his interceptor after he stood on the steel floor that was the hangar and glanced around and nodded to a few of those that were close by and smiled. The young man walked forward a few steps as his gaze darted to different areas and then one which looked to lead further into the Temple

"Your business here my friend." A voice from his right was noted as he stopped and glanced over towards him, whom he looked to be a Jedi. "I'm a soldier and force user with the Iron Empire, I've come to Alderaan to learn and study more about the force and also to help aid this planet in anyway that I can for a few weeks. I was instructed to meet with a Master Organa?"

"Of course, we will take you to him."

"This is quite the Temple you all must be very proud!" Kiran exclaimed, as just the hangar itself was very impressive.

"Just wait till you see inside." The escort said as he led Kiran further inside, and a very excited Kiran followed.

Garith as if reading her mind appeared to greet her with the traditional hug. "Yes it is" she whispered answering his question about is this the first time she had been here. As she stood still for a moment there was a motion that a ship was preparing to land in the hangar seemed the temple had everything and why shouldn't it.

Faith smoothed her clothing out looking to her brother, "He seemed really anxious about coming here. And we always try to go with out gut feeling on things mine said it was ok to tell him to come." A young man in soft brown robes appeared to let them know that [member="Kiran Arlos"] was being escorted to meet them.

She smiled, "Sometimes I just don't have the heart to say no. I mean, well you know what I mean." She could see why those that came to the temple stayed on to rest, or teach it was so quiet. The quiet and calm permeated everything and as she walked through the temple it passed through her too taking away the unease of the day. She wondered how he was doing now did not seem the time to ask.

Where he had wandered for so must have left a terrible mark on him she only knew that he seemed to enjoy the tranquility and peace of Alderaan more than anything right now.

Garith just loved his sister’s energy. However this time he may be missed what she was referring to. “What did you have a hard time saying no to”, Garith laughed nervously? He was a little bit lost there in the conversation. From the content he did not know what she had a hard time saying no to? Did she get a matching tattoo with [member="Draco Vereen"]? If that was the case Garith was going to laugh for days! “Please tell me you and Draco got matching tattoos!”

His guide had to stop several times and he could see our of the corner of his eye a small smirk that came across the face of his guide too. Granted he was slightly amused with Kiran as he stopped several times to look and awe at several things that they came across.

"I'm terribly sorry I just really enjoy the magnificence and distinct look of much of these items, and the temple itself." Kiran was always admired hard work as he was a hard worker too, and he was sure it took a lot of time and energy to create this place.

"Not to worry, but we do need to press on though, they are waiting for you."

"Oh yes, I apologize." Kiran kept trying to remind himself that he was holding people up, while he wasn't sure what they were doing exactly. He didn't want to take up too much of their time.

And it wasn't before long that he was before them both, a man and a woman.

"Excuse me Master Organa and Queen Organa. This is Kiran Arlos."

Kiran nodded and bowed politely towards them both, and this wasn't the young mans first time being introduced before a queen.

"I thank you for you hospitality, Master Organa and Queen Organa. I promise my stay here will go untroubled, as I seek to learn more about the force and expand my culture. And while doing so, I can assist Alderaan while I'm here with anything it may need."

Oh he was full of promise wasn't he. "Hello [member="Kiran Arlos"] , you can call me Faith this is a very informal meeting. This is my brother [member="Garith Organa"] ." She wasn't sure how Garith would want to be addressed so she would leave it to him to let Kiran know.

"I'm sure you won't be any trouble. Did you enjoy your journey here? Are you hungry or thirsty?" Sometimes she always thought like a cross between a Mom and a Hostess. She tried to make everyone feel welcome and that they were taken care of.

She wondered what kind of classes did her brother offer?

Turning to the two that just approached, there was a young man Garith did not recognize and a Jedi Garith did. A MR. [member="Kiran Arlos"]?

[member="Faith Organa"] had wasted no time in being friendly and welcoming the new man. In Garith’s opinion that was a good thing. It helped people to feel welcomed. While he appreciated this quality of his sisters he was quite comfortable with just being himself.

“Welcome to the Alderaan Jedi Temple Kiran Alos”, the Jedi Master was pleased to see the young man. He was happy to see anyone who wished to come here. It just did not have to be about studying the ways of the force. A simple visit and friendship is also very pleasant.

“As for formality. I try not to require for anyone to call me Master. Though the other Jedi do try to be formal here and do call me by titles. Anyone is welcome to come here and study if they wish. We encourage unity here. We even hold classes on the Unifying Force. I even time to time teach how to work a forge and craft items imbued with the force.”

The man did say he was here also to help if he can. “We also welcome those wishing to help here at the temple. Is there any particular skills your adept in that may come in use?” To find a place for this young man Garith would need context to see what this young man was good at, what he loved doing, and what the young man’s future goals were.

"Thank you both for the warm welcome." Kiran responded easily enough as he gave another respectful bow. While Faith mentioned it was not necessary for formalities at this time. Kiran was just one for formalities most of the time.

"Well, I'm still kinda new to the Jedi routine, as far as basic force abilities, not entirely much. I haven't been fully trained as of yet. I was hoping some of you could help me with that, if only for a few weeks. I don't want to take up to much of anyone's time."

Kiran thought about it for a moment and in truth there really wasn't anything other this his natural abilities that came not from the force, but from his own strength and spirit. Kiran was incredibly smart and was a fast learner, especially when he put his mind to it.

"I'm adept when it comes to security, guarding, things like that. I've watched over many important people before. Queens, Senators and even just small time political figures. Just point the way and I won't fail you."

[member="Garith Organa"] [member="Faith Organa"]

She looked at Garith and then back to Kiran. "Well, you are good at guarding. Maybe you could look at what security is here at the temple and make suggestions for change?"

Faith knew the value of having someone who knew what they were doing to do a job and if this young man had experience why not use it. She smiled with Myles having taken a sabbatical they were in need of someone who had this experience.

"What do you think Garith?" She smiled at her brother she knew that there would be a lesson in everything done, perhaps this was a lesson about getting along and forgetting the labels that so many were burdened with.

[member="Kiran Arlos"] [member="Garith Organa"]

“Absolutely”, answer forth coming still but Garith seemed very pleased he could help. “There is defiantly room here if you wish”, he said to the young man [member="Kiran Arlos"]. “The Alderaan Temple would love to have you here. We welcome all those who seek to learn. There are classes here on the unify force. There are those here who are more neutral in ideology. There are those here who are here to seek to recover from negative temptations of the darkside. Training in helping to understand the ways of the force is defiantly an option here. As for work that is an option as well. As for how the Jedi work around here. We do keep the rank system around here, apprentice, Knight, and Master. As for over all leadership, even though others look at me as like a Grand Master there is no such title here currently. Here currently every Master holds sway in leadership and discusses things like a council. We do have a room that we assemble in. I had a round table brought in so every Master could sit as equals rather anyone holding more say then others. Do you know what style path you wish to take or close to a path, such as guardian, sentinel, consular, if you need a mixture that is fine to.”

"I would be delighted.....Faith." Kiran said with a small nod of his head, a smile following. As Kiran thought more of the issue at hand, he wondered what was best for him.

"Perhaps a little bit of everything in general, I'm just one for gaining knowledge. I will be a dedicated pupil during my short time here I assure you." As Kiran knew that he couldn't remain here for very long as duties with the Iron Empire would draw him away in a few weeks or so. He would take whatever training he could find.

"When shall we get started?" Kiran inquired, mainly about everything.

[member="Garith Organa"] [member="Faith Organa"]

"Um well we can tour around the temple now, and see if there are any weaknesses that need to be addressed" Faith wanted those that came safe she was also being protective of her brother.

Having just got him back she was unwilling to take a chance that something could happen again.

"Garith, do you recommend a particular place to start? Or do you think a lesson should be first?" She was use to just having her will done, everyone jumping when she wanted. So here she had to remember she was just Faith and this place was for schooling, and resting.

She smiled at [member="Kiran Arlos"] and waited for her brother [member="Garith Organa"] to say something.

“We could start with a lesson first if you wished to learn”, he teased his sister [member="Faith Organa"]. It was not like she could not learn. She was sensitive even though she may not be willing to openly say she was.

“You could learn how to use a minor force barrier right now”, he doubted that Faith would say yes. Would she be willing to see [member="Kiran Arlos"] learn how to use a force barrier?

That is if the young man did not already know how to use such a skill, “Kiran have you been thought how to use the force to create shields to ward of damage?”
