Where The Heart Is

Ana had taken [member="Aaden Renolds"] to her cabin home on the outskirts of Keldabe, Mandalore once before a wedding. It had been a quick stop to show him where she lived and give him a grand tour. This time she was hopeful for a longer stay to enjoy the beautiful winter weather that planet currently was having.

The two story cabin was her sanctuary from the the galaxy. She had worked hard to ensure her home was secure without needing to put cameras all over the place. Ana had wanted a place that felt like home not a prison.

The decorating was all in the name of comfort. She wasn't a home decorator and Ana didn't pretend to be. All she had wanted was a nice place to come home to. This was that place for her and perhaps one day it would be their home.

The garden that normally was out front her home was replaced with the snow that had fallen a few days ago. In the spring she would plant some colorful flowers.

Upon opening the door Ana stepped in and took her boots off before reaching for his hand again to lead them into the living room. "Before we settle in for the evening I was hoping we could go get some firewood." She had been far too busy to go out wood hunting or otherwise. Ana knew he would happily go along with her. Besides it was far too nice outside to just stay inside. They had several hours before sunset.

As she took his hand Aaden would inadvertently receive one of her visions of what could be their future. Ana would be unaware that he saw anything.

The pitter patter of little feet along with giggles could be heard as two blonde haired, blue eyed toddlers ran to their sleeping parents room. The boys were bored therefore it was time for mommy and daddy to wake up. As the door opened one would see two recognizable figures soundly sleeping for the moment at least.

The giggling grew louder as the boys jumped up onto the bed. This woke up both Aaden and Ana. Yawning Ana opened her eyes to find her eldest sitting on top of her. Sitting up she grabbed up the toddler in her arms whom began to giggle again. It was evident that the woman was very much with child as she tried to keep a hold of the squirming toddler as the her husband had scooped up the other child. Being woken up by the little ones was clearly one of the best ways to wake up. They were a happy family four soon to be five.

Ana and Aaden had not truly been together for all that long. But a mere few months was more than enough for Aaden to know he wished to make the woman his wife. Aaden had even had a ring designed and made for his proposal which he had been wanting to do on Mandalore during the snow season. He still wasn't sure what they do about the whole family situation as so far his research hadn't been turning up positive results for a solution. And although he knew they would be happy together, her desires for a family could cause problems later. Bet then he remembered her rather understanding nature and saw that they could work something out worse case scenario.

The thoughts as well as he desire to propose soon were distracting him. So when she asked if he'd join her in gathering some wood for the fire, it took a second to process it. "Hmm? Oh! Yes, of course. Let's." A warm smile came to his face as his outstretched hand took hers. In that instant, he got a glimpse of a vision. At first it confused him immensely as to what was even happening. He had never had a vision before. Aaden knew Ana got them occasionally. It was then he pondered if he was sneaking a peak at one of her visions.

As the scene played out in his mind, he could help but smile on the inside. For if this vision was true, it meant that they had discovered the secret to make their family as they wanted a reality.

Just as quickly as the vision appeared, it vanished, and things were back to the way they were a moment before. He gave his head a quick shake as he took in surroundings to confirm this was so before heading out into the forest for firewood...

She hadn't seen the vision Aaden had seen. The fates had shown her similar ones in the past which always made her smile. It gave her hope that the research she did was not futile. The family they wanted could be a reality. Sure they had only been together only a few short months but Ana couldn't see herself with anyone else. She could see him moving in here with her and them making this their own place or them getting a place together.

Once they had set their things down she followed him out of the cabin back out into the winter wonderland that currently was Mandalore. "You ok?" She questioned giving his hand a light squeeze as they began walking further into the forest. "You seemed a little distracted earlier." He hadn't even finished his sentence before which wasn't like him. He always eventually got out what he was thinking. If there was something bothering him Ana wished to know.

The only time she let go of his hand was to wander off to pick up a fallen branch and place it in her bag. If easy branches were found to not be not enough she may need to chop a branch down. Hopefully though she wouldn't have to do that.

She had to gone to the market earlier before he came so that they would have plenty to make for dinner and hot chocolate later. Ana liked having a stocked fridge in this weather.
"You'll find the animals that roam this forest are less aggressive than the ones on Endor. No dragons." She stated as she flashed him a grin as she remembered the amazing time they had together. The start of something special.
