Just breath...

Kiran closed his eyes standing upon on his hands, legs up right in the air as 2 chairs slowly started to rise from the ground up to almost waist level. The young man was taking in slow and steady breaths as the exercise was taking place, focus and clearing one's mind was the key to this he was told just by examining other trainers and such. Kiran usually stuck to himself, however he would socialize whenever he could, or perhaps was forced too. He felt that was just his own way of dealing with what was had happened before. Perhaps here it was more evident than he thought, this place seemed to bring up everything he was unwilling to talk about, and that of course lapsed with the fear that if they knew what he had done, would they cast him aside and judge him as a monster.

It was the will of the force that brought him to Ilum's house, also the will of the force that brought him here to Voss and the Silver Jedi. While Kiran's time was here he had definitely taken his fare share of learning through the Temple, he had spent late hours Archives, well was sections weren't off limits. And he wanted more, he wanted to learn more, however at the back of his mind he ever so lightly cast a small glance towards the great hall doors that he would pass from time to time.

He wondered if it was all worth it, he hoped so. He liked it here, a second home as he would call it, for as long as he could remain here.

A few seconds later and the chairs slowly circled the young man and then did so at a good pace, as much balance was needed just as well as affinity with the force and concentration.

Valae walked across the Silver Temple campus, her worn out boots carrying her swiftly along. The Jedi healer smiled and nodded to passersby, she was a familiar sight here now. Brown robes flowed gently behind her, the hem touching the ground as she went. It was a pleasant afternoon on Voss; the sun was out on full display, not a cloud in the sky.

She had particular place to be, so she meandered at will.

Pausing at the edge of the training grounds, Valae squinted at a lone figure practicing there. Said figure was currently balancing upon his hands, legs outstretched. And if that wasn’t a sight in itself, there were also chairs encircling his form – floating above the ground. Chestnut eyes lit up, and a smile found the Jedi master’s face. The feat she was witnessing did require a certain concentration, and a strong sense of focus to carry on.

Edging closer, she canted her head to the side as she observed. She could feel the young man’s presence very strong in the force. Not wanting to interrupt, the brunette knelt down and sat upon her heels. And if the young man happened to glance her way, he might see that she appeared to be quite amused.

Kiran took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly as he noted the beads of sweat rolling down his brow and he opened his eyes for a moment as he glanced around and couldn't help but smile all the while trying to keep a good focus as the chairs circling him however his eyes scanned around nonchalantly as they fell upon a woman kneeling several feet away from him and she seemed to be a bit amused. Naturally for the young man her amused expression caused a bigger smile to come across the face of the Imperial force user and he lost concentration for a moment.

"Woah!" He called out as momentum caused him to go forward a bit and he landed on his back hitting the mat softly as he chuckled just a bit as the chairs came down with him. Kiran rose up on his butt as his hands rested on his knees for a moment as he looked towards [member="Valae Kitra"] and just shrugged his shoulders with a small smile on his face. Kiran then got to his feet then stood the chairs upright before making his way closer towards her and getting into a kneeling position just as she had.

"Hi there." Kiran said easily enough as he bowed his head respectively, she was familiar and Kiran did recognize her after a few moments of racking his brain trying get a hit on who she was. "Master Kitra, that's harder than it looks." He finally said with a giggle that followed. "How are you this day?" The young force user inquired.

Valae’s eyes grew wide when she realized that her interruption had caused the young man to lose focus. She gasped slightly as he tumbled down, the chairs following after him. Of course, there was a sore spot within for having caused him to falter. However, it was all part of the learning process. No doubt, there would come a time when he would be able to complete the same practice without issue.

“Sorry about that…” She said, offering an apologetic smile. “And I’ve no doubt. I don’t think I can balance on my hands like that.”

A soft chuckle escaped the healer. She tilted her head slightly; she had seen [member="Kiran Arlos"] a few times here at the Silver temple. But she had a sneaking feeling that told her she’d seen him elsewhere.

“I’m doin’ just fine, thanks.” Valae smiled, “And I hope you are, too… are you okay?”

She nodded towards the chairs that he had tipped back into an upright position. If he had any bumps and bruises, she could take care of that with a bit of healing. And then things seemed to click into place.

“Ah, I’ve seen you in Iron Empire space, is that right?” She asked curiously, as she had her own ties to the empire.
