Where to go?

Hello, people of Chaos.
So I've been thinking about, now that I have Mark's character firmly established, where to go next with him. And I felt that it would only be proper to let everyone who'd be roleplaying with him help out a bit. I have a few ideas floating around, so let me know if you like them, or even better, bring your own to the table. Thanks in advance for your contributions.
I've been thinking something along the lines of he has a close encounter with the dark side that either nearly kills him or nearly turns him to the dark side. He is then haunted by this for a long time, until he finally has to overcome his fears. Let me know what you think, and thank you guys for being awesome people in general. ;-)

Maybe the darkness touches him in such a way he gets addicted to spice, and is lost to himself in a self destructive spiral. After getting addicted and most likely in debt on the side of having the dark side knocking his temples he ends up fighting in a Hutt palace as a sort of Gladiator to amuse the crowd. He gets his fixes and via combat it is his only chance to get that darkness to stop screaming! STOP IT!!!

Finally a jedi master or his friends (or such) hear the rumors about this oddity of a gladiator and learn that it is Mark. Naturally they need to try and get to him.... It would develop your character and probably lead to an interesting RP.

Or not, but being a generous Hutt I thought I'd offer.

Thanks for both of your ideas so far, and thanks for that great link! It made me realize that sometimes, there's sort of a formula to everything. Just to add on to my past idea, I think it would have something to do with his past... or rather, lack of one. He tries to find out who he was before he lost memory and who his family was, ect, but goes a bit too far and gets himself in trouble, resulting in the dark side encounter. I think it'd work well because, well heck, he doesn't even know his real name. Mark was simply the name he was given when he was found to be force sensitive and brought to the Jedi. Anyways, thanks again and keep those ideas coming.
