Hello everyone!
In light of the Jedi Moot thread and the desire to bring unity to the Jedi from all Orders and groups. I would like to open up this thread I will be starting possibly over the weekend or early next week. (depending on RL), to the Jedi that might find this idea interesting and come have some fun on Midvinter.
Below is the basic premise of the thread I proposed to the Dawnguard.
After an unseasonally long summer on Midvinter, which had effected the Great Maw melting the polar ice caps significantly and producing warmer currents in the vast ocean. This effect caused a virus in some of the fish stocks, mostly the Laks (salmon) which is one of the more popular fish to be consumed by all the peoples of Midvinter. The virus causes their scales to turn white with the invasion of the virus in their system.
The virus is aggressive once it takes hold, and eventually kills the Laks but mostly this occurs at sea, however any catch taken from the rivers of Midvinter, (after spawning) show no signs of the virus until they return to the salt water. But for any people that consume affected Laks contract a mutated virus which effects the brain causing them to hallucinate and become paranoid and eventually attacking the brain's function and shutting down bodily systems, leading to death.
All of the Marks (provinces of Midvinter) are affected, and reports of deaths begin to reach the King who calls a national emergency etc...
So there you go ...
I thought this might be something the Jedi healers could shine in, in particular. We would need to establish the origins and cause of the virus and of course, the means by which to treat the afflicted. But any form of Jedi would be most welcome too.
