The whole situation was, so to speak, friendlier than she thought, only the NIO tortured her, GA for the time being choosing the traditional interrogation. She was still alive, it had been longer than she had originally thought. Ingrid knew if it had been for the NIO's decision, she would have been dead already. The Empress just hoped she could do what she wanted to be here for. She kept what she promised to Hans Rennagen Hans Rennagen , thanks to this she was perhaps the best prisoner of war of all time.

She did not try to escape, cooperated, but she did not tell war secrets and state secrets. Nothing that would harm the Eternal Empire, since her people were the most important. The disguise that can tell she was a human, she naturally maintained here as well, which is why even the food she received in prison had to be eaten so as not to turn out she was a semi-Force entity. Shadow games, acting, it's an everyday task for an agent, a spy.

She showed no weakness, even in captivity, showing only her strong side in torture, with the radiance with which she easily convinced others; which is why her people follow her. Although she was now in a military uniform and sitting in the middle of her bed with her eyes closed, her long red hair collapsed to the middle of her back. She did not spend the first days of captivity in the suite, but in a cell, where she was also deprived of what she had always done with the buns. Both GA and NIO knew she was an excellent agent and assassin. They did not leave any objects with her whom she was capable of killing someone or herself. But even in captivity, she looked classy, and noble.

Ever since she was here, she had been able to dress normally again, so when her hair came to mind, she did it quickly and adjusted it as well. Already on the way here and beyond, she had built up in her mind the place where Adrian was. The hallucination of her dead husband was at least a great company. It didn't hurt the man's absence any less, it was just as painful. The lack of Force bond left a gaping space and a “black hole”. An ever-bleeding wound that was not alleviated by anything in this situation since the soulshards were at home.

She opened her eyes when she felt in the Force and heard someone come in front of the suite. Another COMPNOR officer, the previous days, she had been tortured by two different officers; unsuccessfully. If/when the man entered the apartment, the woman examined him with her cold blue eyes, and in her thoughts she let Adrian gently pull her to himself.

"My answer is still no, you can continue the torture started by your predecessors, but I will not betray the Eternal Empire even then." she said in her usual cold, military voice.

COALITION FOR PROGRESS

Hamilton silently slid his keycard across the scanner the guarded the door to Ingrid's "cell", though it wasn't really.

He'd heard all about her: she'd voluntarily given herself up, but she wouldn't say shite about anything. She'd been damn near impervious to every method of torture introduced on her. But COMPNOR believed it had figure it out. The thing that would finally get her to talk. And they'd called one of their best for the job.

"Evenin' miss." he said in the brogue of his native Galidraan IV. He wore a signature COMPNOR black turtleneck and black jeans.

He dimmed the lights slightly as he entered, compared to the many prior COMPNOR agents content of putting as much light in Ingrid's face as possible. This was not a standard interrogation. In comparison to what she'd experienced before, this would be more like how the GA did things.

The fear of knowing you'll be hurt for resisting interrogation was nothing compared to the terror induced when you know that your loved ones would be hurt for it instead. That was the message they wanted to deliver her, even if it wasn't true. She just needed to believe.

He pulled a chair from the corner to the foot of the bed where she lay and sat.

"We're gonna keep this real nice and sample now. Tell me Terassi... what was your relationship with Darth Prospero?..."

Yes, Ingrid could resist torture because she was trained. At the Shadow Company, her training officer trained her by subjecting her to torture so that the then teenage girl would get used to it. Torture grows stronger and worse until she also learned not to even make a sound when she is in pain. To always look strong, even if she didn’t feel it. Of course, there was no person who could not have been broken, but the woman’s threshold was high and the agents had not yet reached her limits.

Ironically, COMPNOR agents did not know that it was already torture for the woman to turn on a strong light. She was Shadow-born, the woman was also in pain from the strong light. Therefore, the apartment also had only average light conditions. But when the man made this a little darker, it also caught the attention of the Empress. She already knew from this that this was going to be something different than before.

At the sight of the black turtleneck, she felt as if she had been hit in the stomach; after the Globex released the Tactical Turtleneck, Adrian almost always wore it until he became a sithspawn and made the changing attire. So this analogy was quite painful for her. Miss and Terassi. No one had called her that before, in fact Adrian had not been called by that name since he became a Sith. He only used the name Vandiir. In a warm-up question, the woman knew exactly that the NIO also knew the answer to the question. But she didn't want to make the man's job easier.

"Does COMPNOR not even know that? Yet I personally informed the Imperator, Tyrell Paxxus, and Jaeger Harrsk of all this during the NIO-EE negotiations. Your intelligence agency is not working very efficiently, Mr.…"

She said coldly, militarily and without emotion as she looked into the man's eyes all the way. Most people would probably have said that with dripping mockery, but the woman wasn’t like that. By this she referred to political marriage, another issue that they really loved each other. And the fact that they had a son was well known because it was officially announced by the Eternal Empire.

"How much do you want me to detail? Although I’m a little worried that you and your superiors are too prudish with the details and may you'll feel yourself uncomfortable about them." continued in a still cold voice.

COALITION FOR PROGRESS

He wanted to believe that he was already getting to her with the unorthodox tactics, but he stopped his hopes from getting too high. She was surprisingly humble for the leader of an empire on the galactic stage, so much so she mistook special treatment for inefficiency. COMPNOR was weighed heavily by the ongoing Braxant riots, but it was far from inefficient. The case of the Empress was unique in every aspect, so they had to approach it carefully.

Unfortunately the redundant question had only enervated her. She was too cold and calculating for whatever heart to heart his superiors had planned him to do. Hamilton after all was used to physical torture. But that option was off the table as of now, and even still he was one of their best. Even if he couldn't get any info out of her he'd still be glad to have had the opportunity. He knew COMPNOR had decided her fate anyway.

"I see... right to it then. The name's Agent Hamilton, Coalition for Progress. Start wherever you feel like, you're the one tellin' the story. And trust me, we can handle it."

All ears were on her now. His own, those of the COMPNOR bugs in the room, and the personal device in his pocket set to record, both set to record the conversation for further analysis in the likely event she told them more nothing.

Ingrid wasn't too cold and calculating just because it was expected to do so as an agent and then a ruler. No, she was genetically like that. Adrian has always admired the woman’s genetic anomaly to be the perfect combination of her parents. She inherited only the best and most advantageous qualities from them; she could also owe her dual character to this. The cold, distant military behavior was a legacy of her father, who always seemed emotionless. A passionate, cheerful, and mastermind manipulator, a computing personality is her mother’s legacy.

However, in the case of the woman, the mastermind and manipulator were blended with her father’s behavior, and the cheerful, passionate, and direct traits that she was able to show only to very few. Here, too, virtues came from the two parents. That’s why there were very few who really knew her and really knew what she was like in reality. Who knew both sides. But besides these there was what she had learned in from the age of a little girl:

Never show weakness!

Coalition for Progress; another feeling as if she had been hit in the stomach. Was it intentional on their part? After all, Adrian was the Lord of Progress, when the man involved Ingrid in the Primyn Group, the woman chose the name Lady Stuztala as a pseudonym, which meant Lady of Progress in ur-Kittât. A little cute inside joke between the two of them.

"Political marriage to strengthen the re-peace treaty with the Sith Empire."

Said coldly and she is still maintaining eye contact. She said the officially recognized relationship. Of course, she knew that it was obvious to everyone what was between the two of them, but it was a formal interrogation, so Ingrid also stayed in the official standpoint. The woman had always been discreet about her private life, and she could not have known about the other's marriage for very long. The Empress was an agent and a spy, she had to remain invisible, which is why intelligence in any state knew very little about her. Nite was a great help to keep everything secret…

"Review the tabloid press for supposed and perhaps real details. Work for your salary."
