Who you going to call? (Arrol Balloch)

@[member="Arrol Balloch"]

Chora was dead... that was as much as it got but that didn't mean you stopped doing anything. It just meant you got to sit around and not have to worry about your weight, hunger, hair, make up or and this was important you didn't age. Gave all the time in the world for doing things... Just had to balance it out with the downside.... You couldn't touch anything, couldn't be seen by everyone, couldn't actually mess with people usually. Only a few and usually you were bound to certain area's.

That was what had led Chora to being here on Tython... well that and Reiko had her crystal here. The safer place for the jedi.. Usually but that was yet to be totally proven. It gave Chora a smile letting that ethereal ghostly wind that always seemed to be moving, be swirling around her. It was not something that often changed her perspective. She spoke to herself sitting on the room of the temple and looked at the location in the distance far far off. Obscured by the forest and trees, in the mountains. Her grave secreted away by Matsu after she had fallen then sacrificed herself to save the mother of her children.

Since the day his repose was disturbed in the cavern, Arrol found himself restless. Oh so many years had past, to many to even count, and all this time he had remained to himself. But he did not remain idol. His continuing search for knowledge the only thing that occupied him and through this search, he had discovered many things, formed a more clearer ideal of the Force, well, simply put he is the Force, or rather .. he is within it.

His skills with the force vastly different to when he had his physical body, but no less powerful, in fact since his death he is more powerful then ever before.

-----------------------------------------------------

The song of the Force played around cavern, swirling and turning in it's very changing motion. The Force is never stable, never still, never complete. It evolves and turns with time and space, wrapped around and into itself. A constant motion of energy and power, dark and light folding into on itself. The Moons of Ashla and Bogan throbbing with pulses that pull on each other, the constant dance between the two and marriage of opposites that need each other to survive. The balance is in the two here on Tython. To eliminate one is to annihilate the other, in the form of total corruption. Arrol knows the Force will not allow it to happen. The Force is the very thing that protects itself. The Jedi and Sith mere mortals through which it operates, the ends of the spectrum needed for the balance within the organic world. If one end of this spectrum is heavy the Force intervenes and provides an event to reestablish the balance.

-------------------------------------------------

Another is close by, he can feel .. her. She looks toward his way, as if calling. He pushes his presence out .. a whisper on the force toward that energy of the woman. He finds her in the force and in an instant he is in the room, with her.

"Well met .. My Lady".

She could feel it, the brushing of another on the wind... Or whatever it was. No this one was stranger or at least not what she expected. He had power sure and he had skill but as Chora moved drifting and not worrying abot harm. Not anymore at least she found herself going to the cave with a smirk. She walked letting the force around her shimmer with a smile. Then she was there standing as the words the other had said came.

"Well met." With a smile Chora came to stand near him and cocked her hip to the side for a moment giving the best peter pan pose with her hands on her hips before speaking while her robes moved. "I didn't know there was another here, it makes the time less boring at least. I am Chora ike."

"I am Arrol Balloch, and I have been around these parts for some .. time", he smiled to the Lady. "I have been keeping myself, to myself".

Boredom was something Arrol did not know, he keeps himself occupied with his continuing studies, something he has loads of time for. At times he has wondered why he bothers, considering there is no one to teach these things too, but one day he hopes that will change, and maybe just maybe that day will come sooner then he expected.

"You do not occupy for time my Lady?, oh there is so much to do. But I would hate to see you bored, so how can I help?", he smiled to her.

How could he hel? The question brought a grin to her face, a whole one of humor and cheery energy. "Oh I am quite enjoying just talking with you. My daughters are able to see me at times but, they need to get stronger in the force first. For now they seem to be able to when stressed and pushed to their limits. It isn't such a bad thing, lets me feel enigmatic after all for them." Her smile continued to show then went away while going to a rock and sitting down.

"So can I ask how long you have been here?"

"Why wait until your daughters are the stronger?, why not you?", he asked as he walked toward her now resting on a rock. He stood in front of her, not assuming any sense of familiarity by sitting next to her, no that would not be the gentlemanly thing to do. Not at least until the Lady invited him to do so.

"Oh... ", he thought for a moment, "I have been here, within the force for many years, hundreds of years", he thought again. "Thousands of years", he laughed now. "Honestly I can not remember, but my time was before even Master Yoda, so that should give you some indication", in fact Arrol does not like to talk about this much. To many sad and bad memories dwell in there.

"And you my Lady, how long have you being within the force?". He stood with his hands placed behind his back.

"Because I am ashamed, I didn't die in some glorious fight, I didn't save lives or sacrifice myself. Well I mean I did, I saved one life after she refused to give up on me, I rescued on person and gave them the antidote instead of myself. I was weak and fell to the darkside and in my self loathing I thought I hated the jedi, hated the republic. Oh how I screamed and fought, killed and twisted but in the end when I was faced with my love. The one person who always believed in me... Even fallen and evil she still believed there was a silver of good in me. So when i stabbed her and she forgave me I couldn't handle it. I fled that world and the darkness as we both laid dying from a weapon. I gave her the antidote and let myself pass on. That is why I can't go to them, I am not worthy of the love they hold for me."

Arrol eyes started to widen and his face whtened? more so? as the Lady began her monologue. Becoming decidedly uncomfortable with each word.

Oh my so much emotions pouring out of her?, something Arrol is not accustomed to at all.

His where the days when Jedi had no emotions or at least prevented them from coming out in such a way. He took a quick distressed glance around hoping to see or find someone to come help him with the overwrought woman. Even if they where there, they could not help.

Oh for the love of the force, he hoped she would not start crying, he would be beside himself if that were to happen. He started to do the small dance of uneasy, unsure or where to place himself or what words to say to simple stop this woman.

Why did I have to ask?, he moved nearer to her and raised his hand. Yes that is what you do isn't it? . He was about to place a comforting hand on her should to pat her hoping to help in some way, not sure exactly how that was to help but still. He had to do something. Then to his relief she stopped. Oh no now I have to say something. There there? no she will hit me .. if she could.

Oh how he longed for his cavern now.

"Well... I don't know what to say", and he didn't. "It seems you did a very noble thing in your sacrifice of your life, seems your family .. your love, was correct after all?', .. yes that was better then .. There There. He sighed. "Love is a strange thing, full of complexities and dualities, it does not see, it is unlikely, it comes and enter your world when you least expect it to, dangerous unforgiving at times, but true love, whether it is that of a lover or a loved ones, is unconditional and free. The most important part is that it is given free, and regardless, family do that ... they will love you. In the best case scenario at least, they love because you gave yourself back to them when you sacrificed yourself to save one you love".

Chora looked up at the man and gave a small chuckle at that. Maybe he was right, maybe she wasn't something terrible but how could she face them when and if the time ever came? It was a hard way to go about things but she supposed his many years here had granted some wisdom, it would be foolish not to accept it in the long run while she breathed in deeply and gave a nod of her head. "Yes maybe your right? So what is there to do around here? Can't spend all your time in a cave can you?"

Arrol's shoulders visibly became lighter and the Lady seemed to calm. "I hope I am right", he started, "Not always am though", he smiled to her.

His hands went back behind his back and crossed over, his fingers curling and uncurling as is his habit. This helps him relax somewhat. "Well.... I like my cave, it gives me solitude .. to do my studies in the force", he realised how absurd that must sound but it was true for him. "That is how I spend my time now, it would however, be good to be .... useful again". He looked at her with a hopeful smile and resignation that that probably will not happen. "But what to you do to past the years?".

What did she do to pass the years? It made her think about it seriously for a time. She usually just walked around the temple and observed as much as she could. It wasn't much but she was bound to the crystal. "I observed the temple for years, it was an interesting time to see who came and went and of course I could always stay there in the library to study or see what was being taught. Now though it seems the force it strong in my crystal and I can go out further or even appear. Maybe in a few centuries I will be able to appear like you."

"Like all things with the Force, you can be trained", he smiled at her now. "You would not have to wait for centuries". He decided to walk a little around the area, just letting his words stay with her for the moment.

"Shall we go for a walk now, and see what is going on around the place?". He has not seen the temple in some time, he had made the decision to remain away and concentrate on his own studies. Forgotten are the old ones as time passes and in some ways he did not mind it, but the living would do well to remember their lost ones as they can provide valuable insight and instruction in other ways.

Chora listened to him and gave a nod of her head to that, the idea of having something to do to pass the time. That she might have some skill to practice in the afterlife. If he codl teach her she was more then willing to agree to go with him and rose smiling a little while her hair fluttered in that ethereal breeze. "Well then lead the way, I welcome teachings now and always."

Arrol held out his arm for the Lady to take and began to walk the corridors of the Temple. They are not visible to others he had decided to remain like she was and remain cloaked to eyes. However, if others strong enough in the force where to take note, they would be able to feel a shifting in the force as they passed by. Most would only think is like a cold shudder over their skin but in reality, it was the force telling them of their presence. Something that not many would think to look out for and just dismiss the feelings.

As they walked many beings passed through them and around them only some would stopped for a brief moment to consider a thought? Arrol smiled .. the whispers of the force, a small chuckle escaped his lips.

"To appear as you say, you have to project yourself into the minds of those you wish to see you. It is a mind skill, it is not actually that hard but they need to be aware of your presence as well, I usually let them know by speaking firstly then, almost within seconds a connection can be made as they become aware .. once the awareness is made you can project your image and they will see you ..". He looked to her to see if you had any questions.

Chora listened to him as they walked and she could see some of the padawans... Shift from the breeze in the force that came. SHe observed them while hearing how it was actually done and it made sense not the whole of it but a connection needed to be made which was why her daughters could see her and Matsu. It was their love that she stayed around for them and it wasn't a sure thing. Regret and sadness or love and affection in truth it could have been either one and she wouldn't be sure in the long run.

"I understand, then it is no wonder my girls can see me when they call out. It is something strange but I like the idea of lessons still from beyond the grave. In my life I was so impatient and fell because of it and now... Nothing but time. Perhaps Matsu was right and my patience did come with age."

"Some beings are gifted with patience and others have to learn it, it is a skill like all life skills", he said as they walked. "Maybe yes, maybe your Matsu is right and yes indeed all the time in the galaxy". He said with a slight chuckle.

He looked around now and up into the sky. "Now shall we venture forth? maybe into the gardens or ... up to Ashla or Bogan or .. both?", he turned to her now and waited for her response.

He wondered what skills she would like to learn now in death. And if there are some that might be best to work with together. "Tell me what you would like to do, what you think might be something that we care train in or that we can both learn together".

Chora listened to him, the idea of traveling to the moons was something she hadn't expected... In truth she supposed it was possible they weren't actually bound by the physical form so space wasn't an issue. Might be strange but the no sound traveling could be worked it. The rest she smiled at, Matsu had told her patience so many times and now infinite patience. Plenty of time to sit and reflect on what she has been doing and her lot in life. What led up to that point. "I do not know what we can fully do. Traveling and seeing the moons seems like something that could be fun or exploring the ancient temples. I always wanted to travel to the nine but never had the time."

"The Temples are an interesting sight to see, that is true, however... ", Arrol reached out through the force to Chora and intertwined his force signature with her's. It is like a melding in a sense and with that he took her with him along the threads of the Force, they are not in a state of being or image but one with the Force, and so, they can move, as long as there are threads to travel along. Which in the galaxy are everywhere.

It only took moments, and they now stood on the surface of Ashla. Arrol released her from his signature, her signature he would be able to locate anywhere, and looked up into the Galaxy from the great moon. "These are the sight that thrill me now", he said as he indicated to the Galaxy.

It felt strange and as he intertwined their force signatures it took her breath away.If she had had breath at least it was still a strange thing she had experienced the same thing that one time she was underwater and thought she ran out of air. So she had been panicking and then remembered she was dead. Again no air needed but now standing here with the man and the force she was having a good time and couldn't believe she was standing on the moon of Tython. It was almost too easy it seemed and she wondered what the catch was for using the force to travel but then again it came to her. A price was only for the living usually when it came to things. "This place is wonderful."

"It truely is, wonderful. You must always remember, that you are now part of the Force, as physical beings we are.. were limited in our use of it, but now in death, we are the Force, we are within it and only that has no limit. I am not say I know it entirely, but my years of death has allowed me to study what I can, and the journey for knowledge as a Jedi continues in the 'after life'.". He smiled now looking into the distance, through the force.

"I simply used my imagination. And gave experiments a go, if it did not work, I tried again and again until I found the answer, that is the beauty of being dead, you can't die twice", he laughed now, as he turned back to her.

"Now My Lady, when you are quite ready, and have enjoyed your time here, takes us to anywhere you wish to go", he said hold out his arm for her to take. "You felt what I did, now you do it, picture in your mind the place and .. try".
