This was definitely something new for Marek Starchaser. It felt right, however. He was here, aboard the Bright Star, the MC70 Ackbar Cruiser that was recently delivered by Silk Holdings into the Tion Sector. The ship had been christened recently and this was her maiden voyage. Bright Star was operating out of several Haor Chall liners, but this was going to be the obvious flagship and serve, currently, as Marek’s own base of operations.
With this company, he had many ideas and goals, but those were going to be worked in later on. For now? He was offering free room and board with the purchase of 5,000 credits in chips for the casino. On top of that, Bright Star Group was opening its doors to a variety of potential business partners, and allowing them to tour the facilities here to hopefully spurn interest.
Marek himself was waiting in recently cleared hangar for the arrival of any guests of note. On top of that, they were in neutral space, with no reason for anyone to declare war. Should a vessel appear with its weapons primed, the guests would be evacuated from the ship and she would begin a series of jumps to safety. Finally, all crews needed to undergo a scan for weapons, which would be restricted to the owner’s ship.
But this was not going to happen, not here. This was a pleasure vessel, with some of the best music, dining and gaming that could be afforded.
