Why can i not access the codex?

I understand that I haven't been on in a while, but I was wondering why I cannot post in the codex any longer?

We are closed until the 10th of January for our holiday break. No new topics can be posted in Codex until then. After that things will open back up and you'll be able to post new topics at that point.

I see, I thought the judging part was the only thing that was closed, but this makes sense as coming back from the holiday to a flood of submissions wouldn't be fun.
