Why Meditate Today? Good Question.

Dagobah

Oka had made a plan to travel to Dagobah, a place in which is strong in the force. It was said Master Yoda lived here for quite some time. That kinda helped with his confidence in learning this new force power. When he arrived on Dagobah, he was clueless on where to meditate. After looking around, he decided to meditate by a small nearby pond of swamp water. As he sat down, he revised what electric judgement was and how force lightning is different. "Force lightning is usually produced by emotions while electric judgement is produced only when needed without emotions." he said getting his sitting position right. He planned on sitting there until he made progress. That could be a while.

"Not quite," said a voice from a nearby cave, and out climbed the former Dark Lord of the Sith. She took a seat on a rock facing the young man. "Evil committed while serene is still the Dark Side. Imagine electric judgment used without mercy or compromise, by someone who was certain of the righteousness of their cause, maybe even certain that the target deserved it. That would be the Dark Side, and by your definition, it would be electric judgment. Bit it would also be Force lightning. So the distinction would need go be something else, if it even exists."

The voice made Oka immediately jump up. Seeing it was only a sith, he sat back down since this one wasn't hostile. Or at leasthe thought that. "You're quite smart." he said as he spoke up again, "Most jedi use their powers for good though. Its uncommon in a true jedi to see them using the force for their own needs or for bad things." Oka began meditating. This was nice, he thought. It was only a start but he held out his hand at the water and tried to light a spark. When he tried, only blue and white lightning came out, and it was unstable and not long. That didn't mean he was dark, just meant that he did it wrong. The dark side wasn't strong, but a tiny bit was in him, he moved around it since the light kills darkness. He closed his hand and kept meditating expecting another response.

"Kid, I was a Jedi Master. I've seen many Jedi use the Force for personal desires, usually for pride. Showing off.

" And don't let yourself get drawn into the old game of deciding who is and isn't a true Jedi. The Sith bicker about who is and isn't a true Sith. Be better than the Sith.

"Most importantly, though, when you look to your skill set or your emotions or your Allegiance's color scheme to tell you what kind of person you are, look first to your conscience."

Ashin was not the only one who was hiding in the shadows.

I was as well. I kept myself low to the ground and dampened my force signature. The entire planet was flooded with the force. All I had to do was dampen my signature to be less noticeable to that of the planet, or others to keep myself hidden for the most part. As a Bounty hunter, I hunted those who were in the wrong. They were no longer people, they were merchandise. A chance for me to earn my money. This Jedi was one of them. I could sell him to the Sith, OR hold him for ransom. Even more so, if he was a Jedi who was with the Silver Jedi Order. Small, but powerful government off in the distance. I am sure they would pay well.

I was brining up my Splinter pistol. Aiming for the man's center of body mass, only I stopped when the woman of my past almost seemed to appear within the air. I put the weapon down and decided to listen. Speaking of Electric Judgment and Force Lightning. Sure I had seen others use the ability, but I was not one for shocking people or simply stunning them. I used other abilities for my purposes. I shook my head standing up as Ashin, the Tank of a woman who I had lost to in our last little bout, spoke about allegiance to yourself instead of your faction.

"Trust only yourself. Believe that change will only come from you." Turning to the woman I nodded my head once in a small hello, but turned back to the Jedi, "You can only use the abilities you want, if you train to use them. Half of the battle to training is to have the mind set that you will achieve that skill. If you do it half heartedly, then you will only get half of your full potential."

Oka was getting frustrated. He wasn't here for pep talk, especially from someone who lists him as a kid even though he is fairly young. "Look... I didn't come here for information from anyone but the force. I respect your beliefs but we are different people. And looking to my conscience, I don't trust you." he stopped talking because of another voice. He simply ignored it as it was just more unneeded talk.

With a glance at [member="Nickolas Imura"], Ashin stood up again.

"First halfway intelligent thing you've said yet, kid," she said to Osaa. "Go to hell; see you around."

She ambled off, back into the cave.

Ouch. No love lost from her apparently, Nor the other man.

"Alright then." I spoke.

But I kept standing there. And then decided to leave. Kind of awkward with a Jedi.

These strangers were odd in a way. First, they both came to Dagobah, to just come here? Well Oka had a reason. To learn electric judgement or at least meditate until he can. Meditation was needed for peaceful Jedi. Ones that didn't fight aggressively. If you didn't meditate as a Jedi, chances were that you fought aggressively which isn't bad but can get yourself hurt.

He held out his hand after thirty minutes of calming down and clearing his mind. He chose to ignore the other people unless they had a reason for him to talk. As he tried to use the force power, sparks came, but still blue and white. Oka stayed calm even though he was failing. Once he grew calmer, he stopped. The dark side was a nuisance. He tried once more. But this time, completely fighting against the blue and white lightning. His mother once told him, "The dark side is in you Oka, but not strong. When you grow up to be a man, become a Jedi, not a sith. Destroy the sith."

Still hearing the voices, he ignored them. Oka aimed his hand at the water, this force power would be easy for him to learn but the force lightning. "People of the shadows, Ineed a question answered. How do you remove the dark side in you?" he asked letting out another spark. It wasn't force lightning this time. Yellow and orange but stable. He just couldn't hold it long without force lightning coming out.
