Why not put a Bounty on Myself?

Ahron wasn't even aware of what planet she was on currently. Then again, she wasn't aware of much of anything as she laid down on the bench seat of a Cantina Booth, huddled away in a dark corner, head hanging off the edge of the bench, her maw open lazily, revealing the rows of teeth that filled her muzzle. She, was a drug addict. At least, that's what everyone assumed, but what else would you think if a woman was constantly buying illegal tranquilizers. Especially when she could take them like a kid with a pez dispenser, and they were famous for putting down Jedi.

Still, she laid there, wondering what she was doing with her life. She had achieved a new level of boredom. She had done something only someone who had lived too long to care would do. She placed a bounty out on herself. To be captured alive, of course, but still. Who put a bounty out on themselves? Still, she wasn't making it easy, and she couldn't afford to raise the bounty anymore. So, she'd see where one of them would take her. What's the worst that could happen?

It had been about a week and a half at this point for the journey Uyia had taken to Ossertion. She was bored, wanting to get something done, but she hadn't gotten any bounty hits that she could sidetrack towards. That is, until one came in that called for her to bring someone in Alive. She sighed, hoping it wasn't anything too bad, she needed to continue on her way. She put the coordinates the bounty had into her system, heading to the location the bounty was last seen.

Landing in the town, she made sure she got her ship fueled back up and more supplies ready, before heading off to the Cantina. Always a good place to get information, she might gain what she needed to find her mark. Walking in, she didn't even notice Ahron laying on one of the benches as she walked up to the bartender and started asking him questions. Uyia would eventually get to the meat of her questioning:

"Have you seen this woman? I'll pay for information on her whereabouts."

The Bartender looked at Uyia, then at the picture provided. Then he pointed over his shoulder at a booth in the back. "You ain't the first bounty hunter who's come in here looking for her," He said, pulling down a bottle and a glass, pouring something strong into it. "She doesn't cause trouble until a bounty hunter comes in. Then all hell usually breaks loose," He explained, sliding the glass towards her. "Don't let her comatose state fool you. I don't know how she does it, but doesn't matter how under the table she gets, she rises to the occasion," He said crossing his arms. "Just try not to break my bar. Insurance is getting hard to deal with."

Uyia would see what he was talking about. The Lizard woman was laying there, unmoving, head hanging off the side of the bench. A long tongue hanging from her open muzzle and coiling on the ground, yellowish grey eyes glazed over, barely breathing from the looks of it.

Uyia would turn, her crimson Mandalorian armor shimmering in the dank light. She would sigh, facepalming her helmet before walking up to the lizard woman. She'd pull over a chair, facing the back towards Ahron and sitting with her legs around it, looking straight at her.

"Look, lady, I really don't know who you are or who put a bounty on you, but I'm on a bit of a time limit right now and I don't want to smash this guy's bar. So, do you need help getting up so if we have to fight, we can at least do it outside?"

Her voice was calm, though it had a tone of caution. A slight hint of irritation could be heard as well, like she didn't want to deal with this almost. The helmet blocked Uyia's face, but it was already tired of this and she hadn't even dealt with Ahron yet by this point.

"So? Would that be possible? Or do we have to get into a conflict in here?"

The lizard groaned, lifting her head up to look at Uyia. She narrowed her eyes as if trying to figure out who she was looking at, slowly lifting a hand up to rub at one of her eyes. "Oh... Another bounty hunter," She said, her voice strangely smooth for the body it was coming out of. She lifted herself up, swaying a bit as she tried to stabilize herself. "Fight... Fight..." She mumbled, sitting in the booth properly. "Nah, don't wanna fight," She sighed, shrugging. "No fun that way," She mumbled, rubbing her eyes again. "Too many come in and fight. Boring. I placed the bounty so I could see something new," She grumbled. "But... You asked? I don't know, things are fuzzy," She said, standing up straight, the two lightsabers hanging from her belt swaying as she did. Half a second later, she had completely lost her balance and tumbled to the floor with yet another groan. "Help wou... Yes..."

"You....what....you placed a bounty on yourself?! Holy fu....please tell me I'm getting paid for this in someway"

Her voice got more irritated as she groaned, Getting off the chair and kneeling next to Ahron. Uyia honestly didn't know how to deal with the woman, she wasn't even sure if she was drunk, on some sort of drug, tranqed, or a combo of all three. She made a gesture to the bartender to get some water, just incase it was just alcohol inebriating her, but she really didn't know. She also opened her gauntlet up, pulling out a small grappling hook connected to a line of heavy wire.

"I said that I am on a very short time limit and I need to leave soon, so I would appreciate if you would leave the Cantina with me. Tell me what's going on, or I'll most likely have to shock you a few times to try and get your brain working. "

She held her hook, extending the wire long enough to where she could wrap it around your arm if she decided to. She waited on responses from Ahron.

The water was brought with haste, but Ahron shook her head. "No... Water helps with Alcohol..." She mumbled, slowly pushing herself to her feet. "I don't drink alcohol... I see little use in drinking poison..." She stated, stumbling on her feet again. This time, she managed to keep her balance, holding her arms out carefully, like a child trying to walk a curb. A very large, pointy child. "Though, time? You would think... A bounty hunter would account for troubles..." She said, turning fast enough her momentum pulled her past looking at Uyia and caused her to need to correct herself, arms now swaying back and forth. "What would you do if I decided to fight?"

"Let's go through this point by point, since you apparently aren't drunk. First, are you on some sort of drug that we can pull out of your system? Two, normally bounty hunters do need to account for troubles, but this was a hunt I did for some quick cash while I travel. It seems that my hunt led me to the target and the one who is to pay me, so I'm wanting my money at some point. Three...If you fight, well..."

She spun the wire holding the grappling hook, faster and faster. It made a slight fizzle of electricity, but it was probably nothing, maybe the light creating an illusion. Uyia would point to one of her pistols, looking straight at Ahron

"Let us just say that those I take in alive who fight back normally lose a limb or two. If you want to fight, by all means, but I'd prefer doing it outside this fine establishment. Still, try me and I will fight back with full force."

Ahron didn't seem too bothered by the spinning hook or the blasters. She just looked at Uyia, taking in a very long breath. "Pride..." She mumbled, shaking her head. "Oh well, you may take me to the bounty office you were going to anyway. I will not fight," She said simply, holding her hands up to her shoulders. "Unless of course, you try to take anything of me. Then we might have an issue," She added, looking around the bar. "I don't like my things being taken from me."

The Bartender just stared in amazement. "You... You sent every other hunter running... Destroyed my bar three times... And now you're just giving up?" He asked in awe.

Ahron just shrugged. "You had a pot this time. I recall you saying the next one would definitely take me in, and that people could bet against you..." She sighed, scratching her neck. The area was scarred, likely from the very scratching she was doing now. "I figured it would be the best way to pay you back..."

Uyia stopped spinning the hook, pressing something on the gauntlet to fling the wire back into it. She was honestly just confused by this whole encounter, but at least she could get paid. She looked at the bartender and threw him a one thousand credit chip since it sounded like he had gone through a lot to deal with this woman. She then sighed, looking back at Ahron.

"I wasn't going to a bounty office lady, I've been travelling for a good week and a half to a planet. Only halfway done with the trip, I just decided to do this to stop being bored. Now, instead of boredom, I get irritated. You really are quite annoying, I can't imagine you when you are sober."

She turned around, starting to walk to the door. She messed with a transponder pad on her gauntlet, getting payment delivered for the refuel and resupply. As she finished up, she turned around and looked back at Ahron, gesturing for her to follow.

"Come on, I don't got all day. You obviously need to anywhere but here, if only to get out of this man's hair for a few hours."

Ahron was staring at the wall when Uyia motioned for her to follow, completely dazed out. She shook her head quickly, looking back at the bounty hunter. "Annoying?" She asked slowly, her hand dropping back down to her side. "I would think... The ones who fight would be more annoying. I cost you time, they could cost your life," She mumbled, shaking her head. "What happened to priorities? Leads me to think you want to die," She grumbled starting to walk. "Depressing to think about. Being captured by someone who would rather do something they could die doing than accept an easy fifty grand. Do you usually get angry at your easy targets? Or do I just have you in a particularly bad mood?"

"Here's the thing, someone like you who took my time for **** and giggles angers me. Sure, easy 50k, yay everyones happy! I don't swing that way. Stuff like this is a bore, I honestly feel like just letting you go and continue drugging yourself till you die, because this certainly didn't feel like it was worth 50k. Instead of taking my sweet time trying to hunt someone but unable to kill them in an adrenaline pitched chase, I get stuck babysitting. I don't enjoy that stuff. If I am at risk of death to do something I truly love, than I'd rather do that."

Uyia turned back to Ahron, pulling off her helmet as she does. He silver hair blows in the wind, her gaze cold and as sharp as daggers. She put her left hand on her hip, holding the helmet in her other one as she continued speaking.

"You evidently don't seem to get that idea, so you have two options: A. When we get back to my ship, you give me 50K creds and I head back out. B. You skulk off, buying more and more drugs, continuing to wallow in a pool of self pity. Unless you want me to drop you off somewhere or you have another idea, you decide, because I am too bored to choose anything right now."

Ahron just laughed. It was low and and deep as she shook her head again. "Particularly bad mood then," She said, still swaying on her feet. "Though, you seem to think I have the 50 grand. I don't. You have to take me somewhere to get said 50 grand and I want to go places," She sighed, shaking her head. "Though... If you are that desperate for a fight, I'm sure we could arrange something. I just hope you realize those thick helmets aren't exactly as effective as people seem to think they are..."

That ticked her off a bit, as she grabbed her blaster and fired off a bolt that skimmed a few inches away from Ahron's head. She was starting to fume, putting her helmet back on rather quickly.

"I don't want money from someone who doesn't give a damn about anything. If you have money, just pay someone to take you somewhere instead of doing this routine. I'm honestly having just about enough of you. If you are here just to piss me off, then sod off. I have to get back on schedule, this was a rather useless trip."

She re-holstered the handgun, though one of her gauntlets did open up. It was impossible to see what just opened up to be potentially used, though she did start to turn away, her fist clenching up hard.
