It had been a few weeks since the attack on clan Loc. Shai at least managed to organize a place for her and her mom to stay. But she couldn't sit still. As much as she loved her mother and missed her dearly, she needed time for herself. So she decided to try and organize some jobs again. Sadly there weren't any. Either they didn't trust her as a Mando -if they knew- or they simply didn't have any. However while looking around, she found out about something on Naboo that she knew a certain someone would very much like to know about.

She stood on a pier of sorts overlooking a beautiful body of water. A nervestick was in her hand while her cybernetic hand gently caressed her left bicep. After taking another puff she glanced down at the arm. The synth skin and fur was excellently done and the lines in the skin around her hand and forearm helped to make her feel a little bit cooler about herself. The fur was a perfect fit to her pelt... and it helped her to accept it a little better. With a sigh her hand separated and produced her hydrospanner then her plasma torch before morphing back to normal. A smile appeared on her lips as the skin sealed up again, looking like a normal arm. She took another puff the glanced over the water once more. She had sent a message to Star before arriving but she understood that the woman was busy. So she waited patiently for her to arrive.

It was a peaceful moment. It helped her to feel at ease. But it wasn't long before dark thoughts crept back into her mind and her mood faltered. With a clenched jaw she pulled out her datapad and played a song as she waited for Star to arrive. It was a little loud and she earned a glare from more than a few people, but they quickly moved past when she simply rested her hand on her blaster. She wouldn't be surprised if Star came to her with a few calls about a "crazy mutt with a gun at the docks". The thought made her snicker as she took another puff, watching the orange smoke blend with the sunset's last few rays.

She had been in the middle of making sure her naboo home was all clean and such like that when a message came in from a certain canine creature she had met bot to long ago. Curiosity played through he remind as she read in and frowned when it mentioned something concerning naboo that needed to be brought up to the councilor of war.

And so she began to lock her place up and move over to a waiting speeder she had parked, hopping in she got it started feeling the bike lift up before she zoomed off down the road towards the docks. Dust kicked up fir a few miles before the road became stone as she slowed down to regulation before she came to a place to park right as she picked up that there was 'some crazy canine creature with a gun disturbing the peace' and rolled her eyes as she radioed in to not send anyone she was already on scene

Stepping into the docks she had already spotted Shai Maji and gave a smile as she approached and called out

oi disturbing the peace are we? I guess everytime you arrive ill get some crazy call eh?

Shai had just taken another drag of her nervestick when she heard the speeder nearing. With a smile she blew the smoke out and slipped the device into her pocket. With folded arms she leaned against a wall as she waited for Star to come to her. "Just keeping you on your feet, that's all." she quipped as she approached Star, opening her arms to give her a gentle hug. She knew not everyone liked it, but it was impossible to not show affection like that to the woman that pretty much freed her mother.

She took a step back and looked her over. "I hope you've been well. We can catch up later, I found out about something that I figured you'd need to know about as quickly as possible." she admitted as she fished out her datapad, scrolling through some pictures until she found the screenshots she was looking for. Showing it to Star, the Shistavanen continued with her explanation. "I was checking some things out for jobs when I found this. Those are apparently Naboo citizens that were kidnapped and being held somewhere in a warehouse or someplace. From what I saw, it's low profile targets. Dregs, street rats, people that the top part of society won't notice if they go missing. The men are being used either for manual labour or underground fighting. The women... well, I think you can guess what they use them for." she spoke with a partially hushed voice, keeping the conversation just between the two of them.

"I didn't know if you knew about this, but I felt I needed to let you know. Maybe even help in any way I can if you need it. It's the least I can do for you after what you did for me." she confessed as she looked up at the Twi'lek. She leaned in to get a look at the pictures of the slaves as well as the bids, notes and descriptions she managed to screenshot as well. "Sadly I couldn't find out where they're being held or who these people are. They only disclose info when you pay in and the transaction is good." she continued, looking up at Star.

Star gave a one arm hug back, she was pretty open with giving people hugs well only those she trusted in which this canine had earned her trust. Letting her go she stood back a bit dressed in no armor actually some normal farmer clothes in fact rather plain in color

Perking up as she mentioned she had something star needed to see quickly she leaned in and began to pour over the information and her face want from a smiling bright to a furious anger that washed over her entire being and even could be felt slightly as she stood up straight slowly and her eyes closed as she forced herself to calm down and let a huff of hot dry air out and relaxed herself. This reminded her all to much of when her wife was taken, she promised never to let that happen again and that day solidified her extreme hate towards slavers

Finally opening her eyes she looked down towards shai and spoke

well then, I suppose then we must pay in...tell me shai how do you feel about selling a twilek?

A cruel grin formed, a plan forming within her head that would get her within the heart of it all so she could burn it down

Shai blinked in surprise at Star's question, looking her up and down. "Now wait a minute... are you seriously suggesting I sell you to those kriffers?" she asked with a hint of shock. For several moments she simply stood in place and thought about the situation. There wasn't any other way she could see them getting the info out of the slavers or even find them to begin with. So with a sigh she shrugged and turned to leave. "Alright, kark it. Let's do this!" she quipped as she glanced at Star with a smirk. "Now where do you think we'll find a sexy metal bikini and funky hat to park you in? Anything lying around in the royal closet up in the palace?" she joked as she walked along the road towards the Twi'lek's speeder. "You mind if I hitch a ride?" she asked as she leaned against the speeder.

A snicker escaped Shai as she looked Star over, trying to think of an approach to the situation. "I just realized something. You're likely taller than pretty much every buyer there. Luckily we won't have to sell you off, we only need to get in. 'Cause I'm sure we would struggle to get a buyer for you." she commented with a cackling laugh as she sat on the passenger seat of the speeder.

As soon as they were off, Shai got to work on looking for the site where she found the operation. Once she got it, she started to contact the people and hash out the details. "Okay! I got a thing going for us. All we need to do is send a pic or two of you so they can 'sample the goods'. I bought us some time to get everything set but I'd suggest we move quickly before they lose interest." she explained to Star as she pocketed her datapad and slipped her nervestick between her lips. With a puff she glanced around at the buildings and scenery. "I've always thought Naboo wass above crap like this. How the hell did they even get a foothold like this on the planet?" she asked Star.

Stardust wasn't even giving a answer, she moved quickly for her speeder and hopped inside without opening the door as she started it up and looked over to shai

better, I do have some stuff back at my house, some real fancy stuff gotta make it look like youve put effort into trying to sell me

Her speeder turned sharply and then took off down the road breaking a few speed codes, stardust looked forwardwitj a neutral face as she let a hot breath of anger out and glanced over as she gave a smirk and chuckled

we need but only know where they are located. After that I shall ensure it is wiped off this beautiful planets surface

Stardust kept at max speed, looking forward aimlessly as her eyes narrowed to.shais question and let a growl out slightly and snarled baring her teeth

slavers are a cancer, they'll pop up anywhere, but dont worry shai...I'll ensure that I burn away that cancer

Stardust voice wasn't as soft and smooth....if anything her voice became deeper and her face took on a different mask of pure anger. Her house was soon in sight as she began to slow down and then stopped climbing out ad she started into the house

I need to make a message real quick....my...body guards will be coming with us

Shai snickered at Star's comment on her wardrobe, glancing up at the woman with a smirk. "Might swipe an outfit for sexy time." she joked as she stared out the speeder's windshield. She was relaxed and quiet for the most part of the ride. She could tell that Star was pissed and rightfully so. She would be too if she was in charge of a planet and someone was enslaving her people. She looked up at Star when she spoke, giving a slight snort at her comment. "Once we get a few snazzy pics of you I'll get to work on figuring out a location. Even if they only give a halfway point or something, it'll be able to lead us to their HQ." she commented, giving her thoughts on the situation.

When they finally stopped, Shai got out and stretched her back a bit. "I figured you'd be a better driver than that." she teased with a smug grin as she walked with her towards her house... a place that made her rather surprised by it. For pretty much all her life she had the judgemental thought that everyone on Naboo had these lavish lives with their comfy lifestyles and snazzy homes. Star's house was not at all in line with that mindset. "Never thought you were the type to need bodyguards." she quipped as she looked the place over. Entering inside, it simply kept throwing curveballs at her brain. "Not at all what I expected. I thought with you being a top dog on the planet and all that you would have a place more..." her hands shifted around in front of her as she tried to visualize her thoughts. "Naboo-ish." she continued, managing to find the words. "Like this place looks spectacularly average." she snickered at her words as she looked around the place.

"Alright so... what kind of wardrobe do we got to work with?" she asked her finally, glancing back to Star.

Star had to remind herself to contain herself, this was out of her element she was not used to sneaking into slaver encampments she was used to knowing and immediately destroying them and getting the slaves out and back into society...not this whole...odd...stuff.

even half way works for me, people talk shai, slavers may seem like their tough and shiz but you hit a few buttons right and they will speak

Once they stopped and star was already out and inside she chuckled and glanced back

Walking towards her room she started searching through the closet as she glanced to shai and laughed

theres things that even I cant fight alone, I think of them more as on my level type of help

She continued her search, all while she racked her head for any ideas how how to approach this or what to do...sadly all she was getting was this option and while she didn't like it would go along

im... a rather down to planet person on stuff, I dont see the need to be flashy with my credits at all. Unless of course I'm buying more weapons then well hahaha

Finding a decent outfit she pulled it out, it was a Lacey pink one that was nearly see through with gold trimming along certain areas to draw attention

Shai shrugged at Star's explanation and nodded in agreement. "Yeah I get where you're coming from. Rather safe than sorry." she commented as she walked with the woman. At the mention of weapons, a snicker escaped the Shistavanen. "Yeah I know that one. I've wasted way too much money on weapons and other toys in the last few years. I still wanna get myself a snazzy Westar pistol and customize the hell out of it but I'm saving up at the moment. My mom's bail gave my account a rather uncomfortable knock." she admitted as she sat on the bed and watched as the Twi'lek rummaged through her closet for an outfit.

Star finally managed to find an outfit... which made the Shistavanen blink a few times. "Yeah uh..." she scratched the back of her head with a chuckle. "I think that'll work very nicely." she agreed as she grinned up at Star. "Might buy it from you afterwards too." she teased as her grin simply grew.

"Okay in all seriousness now. Maybe go run through the shower real quick before we get you dressed in that." she suggested as she pulled out her datapad and checked her camera. When Star was finally ready she got to work on snapping a few interesting pictures of her. "The last time I took photos of a hot Twi'lek in lingerie I nearly had a Hutt put a bounty on my head." she quipped with a snicker as she took another photo. "Alright that should be enough. I'll get these sent." she spoke as she sat on the bed and started to send the pictures to the contacts. A few minutes later she got a reply from them and her face started to sink. "Okay so uh... good news and bad news." she started, reading over the messages. "Good news is they like what they're seeing and they're definitely interested." she looked up at Star as she spoke.

"Bad news is they wanna inspect the merchandise in person. Since we're selling to them they wanna see what you're like in person. They'll send a location for us." she explained further as she slapped her thighs and dropped back onto the bed. "Karking hell I'm taking this bed with me."

Westar 34 or 35 model?

As she went to go wash up she stopped by a crate, opening them to reveal so spares of the models she kept around for parts of in case she dropped her blasters

take your pick, some of them are used models but I figure if your modifying it you'll replace most the original parts

Without so much as waiting she went to the refresher, washing down and clean up before she came out and started covering up her markings that would identify her as stardust. After that she got dressed in the outfit and got the pictures done trying to hide a really annoyed and pissed look the entire time, finally when it was over she let a breath our and grumbled as she moved to send her message before she snickered herself

I'll get better ones later, I'm not shy about my body but I'm picky who sees...hopefully doesnt show on the pics

Moving about she checked a few things, but didn't take long to get a message back, she was pleased tha they enjoyed the pics but her smile she had soon faded as she nodded her head

She sat on the bed, rubbing her chin in depe hought before glancing to shai and chuckling

Shai shrugged her shoulders as she scrounged her nose. "Eh I prefer the thirty-four, honestly. Thirty-five is cool and all... but it's really clunky and it just looks disgusting in my opinion." she commented, not actually realizing what Star was doing. She blinked in surprise when Star flipped open a crate and offered her whatever she wanted. "Wait are you serious now?" she asked with shock written all over her features. She didn't waste any time rushing to the crate and rummaging through it. Scrounging through the stuff, she couldn't deny that she wanted to simply carry off the entire thing. Both her inner gun nut and gun runner mindsets screamed as she pushed aside a bunch of very tempting toys... but she ultimately found what she was looking for. A classic WESTAR-34. It was a bit dirty and dinged but overall it was in very good condition. Certainly worth a nice price to the right-

She shook the thought aside as she looked the weapon over. As Star emerged she flashed a wide grin and held the gun up. "This is karking great! You even know how long I've been wanting one of these?! Last time I held one was like... seven years ago with a deal." she almost shouted at her as excitement boiled over. Though she didn't exactly catch the little slip she exposed. "Thanks Star!" she called out, dropping the weapon into the satchel hanging by her side.

After Star got dressed she wasted no time in getting to the photoshoot. She chuckled at the Twi'lek's comment on her body as she glanced at her. "In all honesty, you're supposed to be a slave with these. A little annoyance or anger in the face will likely help sell the look, I'd say." she commented as she worked on the deal. But as she laid on the bed, she couldn't help mulling over the details. There wasn't any other way with this. And the bigger issue she saw was how they were going to have to go in...

Her train of thought was interrupted by Star's offer. She blinked in surprise as she turned to look up at her. "It isn't Life Day, you know!" she joked with a laugh as she sat up. "But I ain't gonna say no. Plus after this mess we can even grab a snack at this other place I ate at a while back. It's not too far from here actually. I had this kriffing awesome bantha steak and fries there. Was a bit pricey but well worth it. I can stick us if you're up for it." she suggested as she splayed over the bed again. Her face darkened a little as she looked at Star again. "I hope you know that we're gonna have to go in like this, right? No armour or anything. If we go in guns blazing then there's a chance they'll either escape or end up dead. We're gonna have to ambush them and block them off completely." she voiced her thoughts on the situation.

Her datapad pinged again and she brought it up. "We got a location. One hour, this facility here. Looks like it's in the seedier part of town." she spoke as she held her datapad out for Star to see. "We gonna roll out?"
