Wild Knights Special Ranger Squadron

"Not all Force-users wear bathrobes or swing laser swords"
Long ago, there were a bunch of maverick Barabel Jedi who weren't much good at being Jedi, but they were some pretty great fighter pilots. And so, they assembled a team of Jedi with whatever ships they could get their hands on. And they did a helluva job at being pilots and at being Jedi. Many centuries later, a fledgling government calling themselves the Galactic Alliance resurrected the moniker as they began to strike their first blows against the One Sith that ruled the galaxy with an iron fist.

From the first victories to the catastrophic failure, the Wild Knights fought their way across the galaxy, hammering Star Destroyers, protecting retreating troops, and hammering Sith positions from the air. With the fall of the Galactic Alliance, they joined the Outer Rim Coalition and fought the First Order to a standstill. They were the most successful Alliance-Coalition squadron in any of the wars, cutting enemy squadrons to pieces and cracking the hulls of Star Destroyers.

Jensaarai. Jedi. Wardens of the Sky. The Wild Knights take them all, no matter how dysfunctional, as long as they can shoot straight and outfly any two enemy aces with a beer in one hand.

With the Rimward Trade League poised on the cusp of the galactic stage, Roth Tillian, having spent the last years training the pilots of the Susefvi Defense Force, has resurrected the squadron he led for years. Now assembled as part of the Rimward Ranger Corps as a Special Ranger Squadron, for those who can use the Force but want a more active role in the galaxy than the Circle of Light necessarily includes. Part fighter squadron, part commando team, they are either the best of the best or the ones who can't cut it anywhere else.

One thing is true though- everyone last of them has a brawler's heart and a fiery passion for the freedom of the deep black of space. Melding philosophies, techniques, and equipment, the Wild Knights are the perfect representation of the Outer Rim- scrappy, socially outcast, insubordinate drunks, and the toughest fighters to stare down a laser cannon and laugh for the thrill of it. When it comes to threats to the League, to the galaxy, to the lives and liberty of the innocent people of the galaxy, be it slaving ring, crime cartel, or an Imperial battleship, the Wild Knights are there with their signature battle cry:
!@#$ you, you #$%^ Krayt-spit sucking schuttas

So yeah, bringing back these folks for the League for the pilots, the renegade Jedi, the ones who want to act more directly and independently. Inspired by the Legends Wild Knights, as well as the various irregular squadrons of the Rebel Alliance who never would have cut it in a proper military, but thrived when left to use their own various strengths and weaknesses the way they knew how. Basically, the epitome of what the Rimward Trade League wants to embody.

So if you were looking for that Top Gun, Rogue Squadron, Wraith Squadron itch, hop on in!

So, with the work on the Q-ship fleet and stuff, probably as a Joint Command of some sort between ORION and the central naval group, the Wild Knights will probably transfer to that- perhaps even to act something like Wraith Squadron from Legends.
