Current Strength:
30 Men and Women, 20 more in Training, 20 rookies for selection.

As stated in all our threads we run with squads of 6. Special Forces style, if that suits you against the odds, this unit is for you!

Assets:
Equipped with close quarter weapons, suitable for breaching actions, ship to ship combat scenarios and technical equipment to establish beachheads.

Status: Deployed to Chalacta


Concept:

The idea behind this unit is not a large regular force, you already have the infantry. They don't like fighting in the open unless it's a fixed battle on their terms, and are not geared up for long engagements. It's small fast teams deployed to hold key positions, people, building things ahead of, or behind the primary force, often without the enemy knowing they are there. They breach enemy lines or establish beachheads for the cavalry to arrive and do the main job. They are especially suited for this. They can build fortifications and dig in, they do have that capacity with engineers and technical staff on hand but its not their forte to hold something for an extended period without support.

It is to compliment what you already have and I am happy to tweak it as such to suit. It doesn't mean they need stay small as we rp, only they are used as small teams, most of the time hitting fast and hard, unless it's a real emergency, then they are a wild card to play in such a case.

Unique face Cards: Queen of Air and Darkness , Endurance, Balance, Demise, Moderation, The Evil One, The Star, The Idiot The Destroyed Starship, The Satellite, The Wheel, Chance, Hazard, The Universe, Legate (a ranked card in each suit).

Feedback

This is a unit built and designed for you, so if you want them setup to be more of a regular infantry division let me know. There is no reason why they can't include regular platoons if you all want it in time. We can discuss weapons, roles and such below, so feel free.

I have had a lot of potential designs over the years to implement this effectively, especially against ships or fortifications ;), be happy to share them with anyone higher up who wants an idea of where this might go, and what the design goal would eventually be.

Would very much like your input :). Again its in the design phase, so if you think we need some more distinction between the units, i'm very happy to plot that out here.

They could be larger, more regular infantry or smaller and specialist.

It'd likely be a branch off RSFU, but hell, go for it. It seems like decent idea with a good purpose. You have the Jorin stamp of approval.

I'm thinking of reforming and reorganizing this as a much smaller light infantry reconnaissance unit under SpecOps command as opposed to a full division. Thoughts?
