Wildest Dream

Few months had passed since her adventure on Hoth. Fiore had pushed the memories from her mind the best she could. Upon returning to the Templar Order, she stated the death of an unknown female Jedi. When the higher ups requested a name, a body and the lightsaber Fiore refused to state the name, told them the body was cremated and the weapon would stay with her. The commanders wished not to upset the woman and allowed her to have her freedom to do what she wanted with the lightsaber. It was the first trophy she had claimed and in a way they were proud to see the Assassin taking pride in her work instead of just using the Jedi and Sith she ran into as target practice for her true target. Fiore didn’t take any jobs for a while, she remained locked in her room admiring the lightsaber and its work.

It took a few weeks but she finally realized who’s lightsaber it truly was. Clutching it tightly, she knew she couldn’t add this to the melting pot of sabers they collected. The saber originally belonged to Mara Jade and was obviously revitalized by Mira. No, Fiore couldn’t let this saber out of her sight – it was all she had from that evening. Finally, after enough time had passed and she had some time to heal her mind from it all, she decided to go back to Kashyyyk and hunt for her old sabers that her Master tossed into the wilderness. While she was on the planet she didn’t dare look for her sabers, if she had found them and was caught using them in the forest by the Wookies, they would know that she was alive. Then, she would have been slaughtered for her crime against them. Now though, she was grown and a capable fighter. There was no fear from the Wookies and if they decided to fight – she would kill them easily.

A shuttle touched down on the surface of Kashyyyk, she passed off as a Jedi and was left untouched by the wookies. The lightsaber allowed her passage and it seemed the force sensitives didn’t care to check her for some reason. The shuttle had landed in the remote areas of the planet near the place she had been taken to be stripped of the Force. The girl had the planet memorized from the years she had spent tracking and pointing out good hunting spots. She moved deep into the forest and began to set up camp. Looking at the crude map she had written out, she found where she was located and where she had last seen Trask move through the Forest. Counting the distance, she slowly began to make her way towards the small river that coursed through the forest. With the lightsaber attached to her thigh she made her way through the forest camouflaged with her green and brown hooded attire.

This wasn’t Hoth – this was a place she could blend in, use the environment to her advantage and stalk her prey. She was on the hunt and for different reasons than one might be hunting someone down – the last she saw Fiore, the woman was trying to blast her out of this universe and into the next. That little bit had left a sour taste in the mouth of the Jedi, that is why she was here today. She was going to settle the score, have a little fun and maybe, just maybe – leave her defenseless in the Shadowlands. It all would depend on the mood to which Mira was in by the time the day was done. Just maybe, she would be able to finish studying the lightsaber she discovered on Hoth – maybe she’d find some new treasure here.

She wasn’t too sure.

Mira’s armor had taken on a new color, only temporarily though – more dark greens and brown than her traditional flamboyant orange and pink colors. A black cloak concealed the armor as to not draw attention to herself in the first place and this time, she came without a lightsaber – as she gave it to Fiore to prove that she had killed a Jedi. As she leaned against a hut, chewing on some Alderaanian Starblossom – she watched with interest beneath her visor as Fiore so callously moved amongst the Wookiees and other denizens of Rwookrrorro. With a casual push, she left her post on the side of the hut and followed Fiore from a safe distance.

As the other descended into the lands beneath the city, Mira would leap onto a giant branch and decend downwards in her own way. A quick pulse here, another there – a Force jump here and there. She’d pause on occasion, stopping to watch the elevator as it continued its downward trek, before she too moved on. Once the other departed from the elevator, Mira would follow up in the branches and flora, allowing the natural camouflage to provide her cover while she waited for Fiore to slip up – maybe make camp or be distracted enough for Mira to pounce.

It would only be a matter of time.

Finding the river wasn’t hard, she remembered having to come to this river several times to obtain water, to bath and to wash her clothing. Sighing softly, she knelt down and ran her fingers into the cool river and felt it wash over her hands. Blinking, she watched as the color of the liquid change from water to blood red. Quickly, her hand was removed and the color had disappeared. She needed to keep moving while she was sane – the medication she was taking was slowly starting to wear off and she would need the next dosage soon. Only thing was, the side effects were not the most convenient. Possible vomiting along with dizzy spells caused her to need to stop and make camp while she dealt with them. Taking a deep breath, Fiore continued to move quickly along the river’s bank. It would lead towards the small cave that she had once tracked Trask to only a few years ago.

The river twisted and turned until she arrived close to the Cave’s mouth. Frowning, she noticed some of it had been engulfed by vegetation – which meant Trask hadn’t camped here in some time. She wondered if he knew of her lingering and stalking him back to it. Pulling down her hood she ran her fingers through her long dark chocolate locks while she watched the vegetation just tie up the cave. She would have to set up camp here for the most part since this would be the most logical place for her lightsabers to have been tossed or disassembled. She dropped her pack and started to pull things out, first the small tent then the fire starting kit. The pots and some utensils were next and were tossed onto the folded tent material. Looking at a few of the smaller pots she realized her kit was also equipped with a water purification system. A smile spread across her face as she remembered some of the nights she nearly killed herself from drinking the river water without purifying it.

Setting everything out made her realize this was going to be a longer set up than usual. “Screw this” Heading towards the river once more, she pulled at her over cloak and tossed it aside leaving her in just a bra like undergarment. Next was to tie up her hair as she prepared to take a small swim into the cold river she had played in while she grew up in the planet’s wilds.

Mira raised an eyebrow as Fiore opted to undress herself down to her undergarments, she remained unmoved by the gesture of course. She felt the scorn of being shot at while on Hoth – and she would have her moment of sweet revenge against the assassin. The advantage that Mira held over Fiore was beyond the camouflage but also the fact that Mira could feel the Force, the other could not. Perhaps that was a cruel notion, but one that Mira would gladly take advantage of. She would wait for Fiore to prepare to enter the water – how would she do it? Maybe attempt to dive in? Oh that would be entertaining, as she was mid-dive, shoot her in the thigh and watch her hit the water with a splat. Mira shook her head, getting the image out of her head, attempting to stifle the chuckle.

She would most likely enter it slowly, all seductive like. Mira cared not, she would raise her left arm and take aim – adjusting for the distance from her target and she’d flex her wrist, firing off the dart. It would be as quiet as the passing of wind through the leaves and sail through the air like a bullet from a slugthrower. She aimed directly for the right thigh of Fiore – should it miss; it would make contact with the left calf.

Before heading into the water she thought about her pack, she would need to let her clothes dry before putting them back on so she stripped down to the short shorts underneath her pants and removed her boots. Was this what people felt like when they went home? This odd sense of excitement? Crouching down, she ran her fingers again through the water, one to make sure it wasn’t blood like she had seen earlier and if it was cold. Fiore hated the cold and why she hated being sent to Hoth. Frowning, she was growing to hate that planet – it was cold and there were painful memories attached there. It wasn’t like Kashyyyk, here there were painful memories, but there were several happy ones of her attempt at having a youth.

The water felt fine, it wasn’t too cold or in a weird way hot. Standing she went to step into the water, but as she put her foot into it something poked the side of her leg. Looking down she ran her hand against her flesh and felt the sharp ends of the dart. Pulling it out of her leg she looked at it curiously for just a second and as that second passed she realized what was happening. Still, it was too late and there was no coming back or fighting this. She wobbled slightly, the dart’s contents working their way through her system. Fiore tried to fight it as she fell to her knees and cursed whoever did this…catching her with her pants down.

Sleep came and she face planted into the mush that the ground became when it met the water’s edge. [member="Mira Rekali"]

For Mira, it would be a stroke of victory - for Fiore, it would be an embarrassing moment of defeat.

Mira would casually make her way down to the riverside where the unconscious form of Fiore lay face down in the muck, a soft chuckle escaped her lips as she came to the limp body and nudged it with her boot. A slender eyebrow would raise as the body moved up and then back down into the muck. The other woman was out cold alright, which was a good thing - she was rather dangerous if she wasn't. So, now what to do with her? Mira had a plan for that but it would take time and some effort, and so she would begin. Fiore would awaken eventually and find herself close to her encampment, in the same garments she was wearing prior to - except Mira threw pants on her to give her some civility. However, there would be the foul stench of animal carcass close by and blood leading to Fiore - the blood would trail up her side and be smeared across her pasty flesh, across her garments and various parts of her pants. The lightsaber of Mara Jade would be in her lap, a weapon of freedom and redemption for the young assassin - but would she be able to get it in time? Her hands would be bound by stun-cuffs, as would her ankles. Any movement would send a jolt of electricity that was just powerful enough to deter her from trying anything stupid again.

It was an absolutely odd looking scene - but it wasn't meant to be the end.

There would be the sound of growling somewhere in the bushes a few meters ahead of the trapped assassin, a carnivorous beast lurked about - smelling a fresh kill. Mira would stay perched above the scene, above Fiore. Should things get too dangerous or out of hand - she'd jump in, but for now, she would wait and see what would unfold.

Was this stuff supposed to give you a headache? Or was it because her head hit the ground pretty hard? Fiore blinked her eyes open as she looked around seeing the encampment, what had happened previously really didn’t register too much, well until she looked down and noticed she had been tied up. Her heart raced as she tried to remember if any of her targets had family – close family that would know how to find her and where to find her. The assassin was always good at cover her tracks after she’s killed someone. The whole burn the bodies, the equipment, and take what you need to prove the kill. That was everything and yet still she found herself in this predicament. It didn’t register to her that the person that could have done this was Mira – the Jedi was the only one to know where she was from in retrospect.

After she ran a million thoughts through her mind along with faces, she looked to try and escape. She knew how to, especially after a few time bounty hunters had picked her up. Moving her shoulders to pull at her wrists she was suddenly greeted with a shock that stung enough to make her stop moving and hold her breath. That wasn’t going to be the best thing to do, who ever had done this thought it through. Biting her lip, she relaxed the best she could and looked down seeing the lightsaber. Her face turned sour as she remembered times during training where she used the Force to control the saber, whoever this was knew she was cut from the Force. Fiore did her best to just open her legs slightly to try and get the saber to drop between them, and hopefully not stab herself with the blade. The littlest movement made the shock return. Cursing, she hung her head and looked at the blade. Suddenly, she heard the low growls of the predators of the forest.

Right, she had dead carcass on her, which meant she was going to be someone’s dinner. Things only seemed to go from bad, to worst, to well bantha poops. There was panic and she looked at the saber and wished only to have the Force for just this instant. Concentrating like she would have, she wondered if it was even worth a shot to even try and summon the connection she once had with it. Move, move, please move… The saber shook once or twice and then stopped. Fiore assumed it was just the nerves in her legs twitching in slight fear from what was to come. “Feth.” Sitting up straight, she looked towards where she assumed she heard the growl. “So this is how it ends, well this is how he thought it was going to end anyways.” Frowning, she just waited. Then looked at the saber and tried once more, when there was only moments before your life ended - heck you'd try anything right?

Mira watched and waited.

She felt the desperation course through the mind of Fiore, she felt her reaching out for something that was alien to her and that was when she felt herself open to the Force. She saw the saber move in her lap, no, she felt it twitch through the Force. Fiore had touched the saber through the Force – like small ripples on an enormous lake, she channeled herself properly and brought herself back into what was thought to be impossible. It was an overwhelming and no doubt exhausting task but she had done it – it showed Mira that anything could happen and it was time for her to make her move. The sounds of the predators would lurk closer and closer to the tied up assassin, but as they leaped from the bushes to strike – Mira would leap from the branch above to make her kill.

She would call to the Force and snatch the lightsaber from the lap of Fiore, activating it with a thought as it flew through the air and landed perfectly into her hand. As the first beast came down, Mira spun and came up at an angle, cleaving it in half. The second would leap to Mira’s left and she would turn around, twirl the saber in her hand and bring a downwards angled cut across its neck – cutting the head clean off. She felt a third beast, somewhere and that is when it pounced her from behind. Mira let out a strange noise as the lightsaber went flying , landing on her stomach as the sound of gnashing teeth and snarling filled her audio sensors. She growled herself and flipped onto her back and as the beast came down to latch onto her buy’ce – her hands reached in and grabbed the upper and lower jaw. She would latch on with crushgaunts and begin to pull apart with Force-induced strength. Her muscles would strain against the sheer might of the pounds per square inch that were bearing down upon her hands.
But she was far greater an adversary than some tied up Jedi assassin.

With a triumphant yell and the sound of flesh and bone ripping and snapping apart, she tore the beast’s jaw apart and the head into two – sending greymatter and tissue in all directions. Mira grimaced and let go of the jaws, throwing them to the side, slowly standing up to flick away pieces of bone and brain off her cloak. “That is really gross…” She said before turning to look at the bloodied Fiore. Mira herself was also a mess, covered in blood and muck, her buy’ce caked in the crimson liquid – quite a frightening sight for someone not expecting it.

She would simply smirk beneath the helmet before walking up next to Fiore, a hand reaching out to call the saber to her. Effortlessly it flew to her hand and in turn, she dropped it beside the girl bound to the tree. Mira would crouch down beside her and glance at her from head to toe – letting off a throaty chuckle. “Well, how does it feel assassin?”

So in her last moments, the Force didn’t come whisk her away giving her some sort of salvation. The beasts were coming and then in the nick of time some armored thing flew through the air and took on the beasts. Fiore watched, mostly because she was in no mood to get shocked again. The grey matter and blood splashed against her as the what she assumed to be a Mando rip and tear apart the threatening beast. Saved for the most part from the stomach of an animal, Fiore sighed softly with relief. When the armored figure moved closer to her, she narrowed her eyes and flicked her head slightly – hoping to not trigger the shock. Blood and muck slung off her face as she stared towards the being.

“That was gross…” Fiore showed no amusement and she figured by the timing that this person was the reason why she was tied up and drugged for the most part. Looking down at her situation, she frowned – she really couldn’t think of any way out unless she suffered through the shock therapy – but even then her body would only be able to handle so much. Her attention was required once more by the Armor. “How does what feel?” Nodding slightly, seeing her range of motion before she gets shocked. “These ol things – oh man totally a past time of mine” Leaning forward she pulled at the restraints – her emotions getting the best of her. “They feel amazing…FETH” Once again a shock surged through her body as she tensed and gritted her teeth through the pain. Fiore held her breath through the short ordeal and when it ended she looked at the helmet assuming where the person’s eyes would be.

“So who did I kill that you cared about?”

[member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira chuckled softly and reached up with a gloved hand, pulling the buy’ce free from her face. Her hair had grown a bit longer in the past few months, maybe just a bit past her chin now. Her eyes were flaked with spots of deep crimson – similar in nature to the very own eyes of Fiore save for the color. She raised an eyebrow as she sat the helmet down beneath her and placed herself upon it. “Oh, I don’t know – perhaps my spirit.” She mused softly and gestured towards Fiore. “You look good like this, all tied up and ready to be devoured by some savage animal – it fits you considering how you left me on Hoth to freeze to death.”

It was a bold statement, but truth none the less.

“It’s ok though, I found what I was looking for and well, after my little experience on Coruscant – I also came to experience what pain was and understanding beyond my own limitations.” She sighed and looked away from Fiore. “However, I can’t say I’m happy with myself, being weak like that – you know, I should have known better.” She looked back to Fiore. “But because of you, leaving me in such an emotional state – made it a bit easier.”

[member="Fiore Cœur de Noir"]

Tears welled up in Fiore’s eyes as she came face to face with Mira. Memories came rushing back, ones that she tried to keep pent up inside her head knowing that they would distract her from what she was supposed to be doing. No tears fell despite them clinging to the ends of her eyes. She made sure of it, she couldn’t give any more emotion away to the girl in the Mando armor. Fiore made note of the girl’s eyes, they were flecked with a different red and mirrored hers to some degree. It only meant one thing to Fiore, but she remained quiet on that. There were other matters to address.

“Leave you?! Pretty sure you’re the one that left me. I was going to drop you off where ever you wanted after you were better.” She pulled again at the restraints shocking herself again. It was getting annoying and really started to hurt. Fiore rested back against the tree and looked at Mira. “I left you in an emotional state…you started this.” She had to get out of the restraints, it would be easier to defend herself especially if Mira decided she wanted to leave Fiore to the wolves. Fingers bent towards the wrist to try and figure out the lock – of course it was something she had never felt before, so it was going to take longer.

“If I remember correctly. You. Kissed. Me.” Looking closer at Mira, she noticed her hair a bit longer and couldn’t deny the fact that it made her even prettier than before. Wrinkling her nose, she pushed that thought far from her mind, it was probably another Jedi mind trick…just like before… [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira nodded softly. “Oh, I remember that I did – I also professed to you about a vision I had.” Mira gestured idly with her right hand before motioning to the stun-cuffs. “Don’t bother, with those either.” She sighed heavily and looked down at the ground between herself and Fiore. “You acted as if I were using some mind trick on you – as if I were tricking you into what you felt.” She looked up suddenly and motioned to Fiore. “You felt the Force, that was real – I felt it.” She stood up and snatched her helmet from the ground and placed it over her head. “Maybe when the day comes that you can feel what I felt about you and why I chased you halfway across the Galaxy – then just maybe, you’ll see that you were dead wrong.” She pointed to Fiore.

“It was you who hurt me, not the other way around.” She waggled her finger before her. “I have only felt like that once before, and it was with someone who would never have questioned my feelings.” She gestured towards the saber. “That remains yours.” She stepped over the bound assassin before making her way to the edge of the river. “If you’re looking for your precious items, head south from here – about three kilometers in a small opening.” Mira had already located the lost items in question and set them where she would be able to find them. “They’re inside a box, and if you trust me – you will open it without hesitation.” She turned to look over her shoulder. “I will know if you hesitate.”

She wouldn’t speak another word before disappearing into the branches above and once she was at a certain distance, the restraints would unshackle themselves and fall loosely to the ground.

Everything Mira was saying confused Fiore, she knew how she felt and it came as a surprise that Mira had felt like that as well. Which would explain why she was so hurt when she mentioned something about meeting in the temple. It was an innocent wish, mostly because they would be able to feel each other differently than how the felt each other now, or how they had felt back on Hoth. The shackles fell from around her wrists and she continued to untie herself. Fiore was somewhat scared to say anything especially after how everything went down the last time she tried to express her feelings. Standing, she found her shirt she had on earlier and shoved it on, it had gotten dirty and bloody from what had happened.
Even with Mira gone, Fiore didn’t know how to respond or react. She couldn’t describe how she felt ,but a part of her was happy just for the brief moment she was able to see and speak to the Jedi. Rubbing her wrists, Fiore looked around the campsite and knew she couldn’t stay here long. The new carcass would attract more beasts and she should head out towards where Mira had mentioned. Grabbing the lightsaber she touched the metal and then clipped it back to her leg.

Heading south, like Mira told her, Fiore remained quiet. There was an odd feeling in the back of her mind that made her wonder if Mira was actually following her. It would be insane for her to travel this far only to tie her up and tell her how much she hurt her. Stopping, Fiore looked up looking for Mira – mostly because she had hoped the girl had followed. She couldn’t see her, not without the thermal binoculars. Not being able to know if Mira was there was another reason why she longed for the force connection, she would be able to feel the other girl even if she wasn’t there. Sighing softly, she continued and finally arrived at the place and the box that Mira had mentioned. Fiore couldn’t hesitate – she had to show Mira that there was trust there. She’s a LIAR LIAR! She’s lying! Ignoring the voices would only become harder, but her mind was focused on something other than trying to figure them out.

Getting to the box, she quickly flung it open and stared at her old weapons. They were a little dirty, which meant that Trask had tried to bury them away. Fingers touched the metal shafts and she smiled becoming reunited with the sabers she had made herself when she was a child. Grabbing them, she clipped them to the open clips on her leg and in the small of her back. Fiore stood and looked around, trying to spot Mira hoping she had decided to tag along. “Mira? Where did you find these?” [member="Mira Rekali"]

And as if she knew she was being thought of, Mira jumped down effortlessly before Fiore. She landed in a slight crouch, cloak shrouding her for a moment before she rose to her full height. Her hands would rise to pull back the hood, before they grasped the buy’ce and pulled it free from her head. She shook out her chestnut locks and brought the helmet underneath her right arm, holding onto it as she stared at Fiore ahead of her. Rays of sunlight broke through the openings in the trees in the area they were in, creating quite a display before them – one of light and dark. Perhaps it was a subtle reflection of what they both were. They were the same, except Mira was able to feel everything while Fiore could not. Mira allowed a few more seconds of silence before she gestured with her left hand towards the sabers that the assassin once owned.

“Each crystal has its own signature, its own source of energy through the Force.” She took a moment to take a few steps forward and then to the side of Fiore. “Around here, it isn’t hard to detect something as unique as these blades.” She muttered softly, but loud enough for Fiore to hear her. She gazed over her shoulder at Fiore and then to the trees ahead of her. She walked towards the edge of the opening and stared through the thick brush. “I have been looking for many years for artifacts and relics of the past – I have come to find that sabers seem to be the easiest for me to find.” She would let her hand fall down to her side, nodding to herself for a moment.

“The saber of Skywalker, Jade-Skywalker, Kenobi.” She turned around to look at Fiore. “On Hoth, I discovered the lightsaber of the first Sword of the Jedi, Jaina Solo-Fel along with a unique saber of unknown origin.” She shrugged lightly. “It’s a crossguard saber, but unfortunately I cannot activate it.” Yet another shrug before she turned around and looked back towards the brush. “You did as I have asked, and that’s all I can say – though, I would ask one more thing of you.”

[member="Fiore Cœur de Noir"]

Fiore stood in silence as she stared at Mira, the girl was nothing like the girl she had met on Hoth – maybe it was because of her injuries and this was the real Jedi she had shot down. Fiore didn’t understand why she didn’t feel the same confidence, there was something that made her want to be humble and actually listen to what Mira had to say. The girl was a strong Jedi, she didn’t need the force to feel it especially since she had so easily found her lightsabers. Listening to what Mira had to say put everything into perspective. Nodding slightly, Fiore understood and shoved her hands into her muddy pockets. She would have to change back at her encampment – once she cleaned it up a bit.

“So everything you do is to find artifacts of the Force users before you?” Remembering an older woman from the Jedi Archives, she wondered if that was Mira’s goal in life. Deciding not to ask, seeing as it could be taken offensively, Fiore just smiled and nodded. It was a good feeling to be here with Mira despite the circumstances of before. She had moved closer and Fiore did her best to keep her chest from exploding. There was a point and time where she didn’t’ expect to see Mira again. The girl had made it clear that she had never wanted to see Fiore again. Opening her mouth to speak, to mention the comment Mira made back at Hoth, Fiore pondered and then closed it. Hands removed themselves from her pockets and crossed in front of her chest.

“What else can I do for you Mira? I owe you for finding my sabers – I would have spent months looking for them…I’ve spent years looking for them.” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira shook her head softly.

“No, I just find them – I study the Skywalker Holocron and the information within, the history.” She shrugged lightly. “I read the documents, the manuscripts and other information and learn about locations and secrets – then I go search.” She sighed. “Sometimes I score something, sometimes it’s nothing.” She turned back to Fiore and shook her head softly. “It’s not about a thrill or anything beyond recovering what rightfully belongs to the Jedi – that is all.” She slowly brought the buy’ce to her head, seating it firmly over her hair and face.

“I want you to travel to Ruusan and visit the Valley of the Jedi – there I want you to meditate.” She nodded softly.” As if you were a Padawan again, on Tython.” She crossed her arms over her chest. “I know who you are – I know enough about you from the records, you know what you’re doing. You touched the Force, if you focus hard enough – it will find you.”

[member="Fiore Cœur de Noir"]

News that Mira had looked up her records from the Jedi made Fiore raise an eyebrow. This could have meant many things to the Assassin, one it could be how Mira tracked her down here and was wanting to play this cat and mouse game. Two, it could be that the Jedi liked her enough to want to know more for some reason. Her head wanted to side with the former thought, while in this sense her heart wanted the latter to be true. The eyebrow moved down and in a nervous attempt at remaining that mysterious assassin from Hoth, Fiore crossed her arms in front of her chest and nodded.

"I know where those are, I built my lightsabers there. I trust you, but why are you doing this?" Fiore wanted to believe that the force was what moved the lightsaber earlier, but she was cut from it. Arms fell to her sides and she sighed softly.

"I want to feel the force, but you know what they would do to me if I somehow managed to get the force back? They'd kill me and it won't stop me from hunting Trask down. I will kill him, I don't care". Fiore paused as she felt herself getting worked up. Other things ran through her mind and she fixed her brunette hair and smiled slightly. "So since it's where Jedi go to meditate...uh are you going with me?"

[member="Mira Rekali"]

The request was something different, something new to her. She hadn’t been to Ruusan in a long time – maybe it wouldn’t hurt to go just this once, would it? She sighed heavily and gave Fiore a soft nod. “I will go with you, but for my own purposes.” A hand would wave before her. “The reason you’re going to go is for yourself, to see what you can discover – if anything.” She turned to face the assassin, arms coming to cross over her chest. “You need to understand that you may kill someone and it may make you feel like your quest is done – but then what? What are you going to become when the hunt is complete?” Her eyes shot back and forth beneath the visor. “You will end up feeling empty inside, as there will be nothing left to compel you forward – and darkness will eventually consume you.”

Her arms fell down to her sides, a shrug rolling off her shoulders once more. “But that is for to be concerned about in the end – not me. No matter how much advice I give you, you will make your own path in the end.” Which was the truth, Fiore would continue to hunt this man down until she found him – even if he were already dead. Then there would be something else, or another task and it would just continue on as a vicious cycle that never ended. Mira feared it would lead her to darker things, maybe it wouldn’t, but she knew that eventually the emptiness would have to be consumed by something.

Mira was just nervous, maybe it was because of Hoth, maybe it was because of something else. Even she wasn’t sure why she was concerned as to what might consume Fiore – maybe she did care in the end.

[member="Fiore Cœur de Noir"]

A smile grew across Fiore's face and she tried to hide it. There was a sense of joy that seeped through her skin hearing that Mira would accompany her on the trip. Still, in the back of her mind there was worry. The way Mira was being distant from her seemed odd. Though it was completely normal, they had only seen each other twice and now both times - there was a bit of trying to kill each other. Never a good way to make friends. Nervously, a hand ran through Fiore's hair as she tried to absorb and find any hint that Mira still felt the same way as she did back on Hoth.

The vision's tale popped into her mind and she started to talk and move in an attempt to close whatever distance was between them. "I'm happy you're going with me. As for the dark side consuming me, I don't fear it. I've touched it before, I've felt it devour me in its worst form." Pausing she bit her lower lip and looked away. She had been imagining meeting the Jedi again almost every night and each time always ended quite well - feeling just like she had when they had first kissed.

"As long as you're with me there. I don't think I have anything to fear." Another smile and a curiousness followed. "Do you still believe in your vision?" There was a hopefulness to her as she rested her arm against her own waist while the other hand, rested against the saber Mira had given her. "I ask because I feel you distant...I shot st you on Hoth not to kill you, but to keep the Templars that were with me from pursuing you. To us, only Jedi or Sith would wander Hoth because of its history..." Fiore nodded slightly and sighed. "I'm sorry Mira"

Mira shook her head softly.

“You don’t owe me an apology Fiore.” She said bluntly, turning away from the woman before her. A sigh forced out of her lips caused a momentary pause before she continued. “I do, but I’m not sure what the future holds for us. I’m confused and concerned – I’m a mixture of emotions that I can’t explain.” Again, she’d shake her head before facing Fiore. “It’s not about the vision, it’s complicated.” Mira felt a mixture of things, was it her emotions running wild again? Or was it something else entirely? Maybe it was the fact that she did feel something strong for Fiore but didn’t know how to explain it. This wasn’t as simple as it was when she felt the way she did for Liam – this was a bit different. She confessed the vision to Fiore and felt rejected when she was questioned. Maybe she was a bit salty.

What if Fiore hurt her again? The emotions she felt on Coruscant were compelled by darkness and she couldn’t promise that the attachment to Fiore wouldn’t lead to a darker path – but then what if it didn’t? There were so many variables but she wouldn’t know without trying of course. Another sigh escaped her lips as she waved a hand before her. “We do what we have to do to survive, that is something I’ve come to realize.” A bold statement considering that Fiore did shoot at her without the true intention to kill her – but almost did in the process. Mira was really at a loss for words – the entire situation was something that was foreign to her, her biggest fear was what the vision foretold at the end – not so much what happened in between. She could handle everything else, maybe it was just the Rekali genetics coming out.

Maybe.
