Faction Will you have another drink? [Summit Of Star]

I traveled far across the galaxy, taking the hyperspace route of the Corellian Run. I reached the intersection at the other end and stopped on the planet Ryloth, where I decided to establish my main base. To do so, I purchased a local cantina and renovated it into several levels to operate as a small organization.

On the ground floor, you'll find the cantina itself, along with a traditional dance floor. On the upper level, guarded by security personnel controlling access, there are offices and a private mini-bar where staff can relax and party between administrative tasks.

The second floor houses bedrooms, offering a place to sleep and, more importantly, to sober up in peace.

In the basement, there are clandestine laboratories accessible via a special freight elevator. These allow us to conduct experiments on Ryloth subjects and create less-than-ethical substances, such as drugs or other items to achieve our goals.

This fully equipped building, along with the security we've installed, serves as the headquarters for my organization.

Everyone has their own office, and the meeting room is spacious enough for our needs.

The publicly accessible area is designed to be discreet and unremarkable. We've hired skilled staff, and the customers are plentiful. This creates a significant financial flow and even provides us with free test subjects for the lab, depending on the state of intoxication of certain clients. As a result, the system is self-funded—credits flow in faster than we officially spend them, allowing the business to grow steadily.

I decided to sit at my desk and start sorting through some files to organize things and stamp directives that I either approve or reject.

I'm also expecting visitors, and I hope they won't be too late for tonight's party. For the occasion, I've stocked the mini-bar with the most luxurious drinks and a variety of snacks so we won't go hungry. I've transformed the meeting room into a dance floor, allowing us to party away from the eyes of other customers.

Party Time

Location : Ryloth

The twin suns of Ryloth were dipping below the jagged cliffs, casting long, crimson shadows across the rugged terrain. The arid desert air shimmered with heat as a lone figure streaked across the landscape on a speeder, leaving a trail of dust in her wake.

Lafi leaned low over the handlebars, her large, rabbit-like ears pressed flat against her back to reduce drag. Her silver sunglasses glinted in the dying sunlight, a makeshift accessory scavenged from an old cockpit visor. Her fur rippled in the rushing wind, a chaotic blend of whites and grays catching the golden light. The engine of her custom-built speeder purred like a predator, its sound almost drowned out by the thumping beat of the
music blasting from a crudely rigged sound system.

She grinned as the adrenaline pumped through her veins. The speeder's HUD flashed warnings about pushing the limits, but Lafi ignored them. She was alive in this moment—free, untamed, a blur against the barren, rocky horizon. She twisted the throttle, urging her creation to give just a little more, the engine roaring in protest but obeying.

The landscape blurred into streaks of red and gold, the occasional towering spire of stone whipping past. The road—or what passed for one—was uneven, a mix of hard-packed dirt and jagged rock, but the speeder's enhanced thrusters made it feel like skating over smooth glass. Lafi's hands danced over the controls, adjusting the repulsorlift emitters for every sudden turn or unexpected dip in the terrain. She wasn't just riding the speeder; she was one with it.

In the distance, the lights of a city flickered to life, a beacon of civilization amidst the desolate Ryloth wilderness, and amongst them, a Cantina. Lafi smirked, cranking up the music and made her final approach while singing at the top of her lungs.

"Feelin' like I'm hellbound !

Headed for a meltdown !
Why do all these thoughts hound me on and on?
Confusing my thoughts with reality !
Zoned out !
Drowning in my own doubt !
Feelin' like I'm hellbound, whoaaaaaa !

Feelin' like I'm HELLBOUND"

The speeder kicked up a massive cloud of dust as she approached, the sound of the music now loud enough to rattle the cantina's thin windows. With a practiced hand, she cut the throttle and let the momentum carry her forward, the vehicle sliding gracefully to a halt mere meters from the entrance.

Lafi hopped off, her ears springing upright as she adjusted her sunglasses and gave her speeder a proud pat on the chassis. Her fur was ruffled from the ride, and she didn't care—if anything, it added to her scrappy charm.

She strolled into the cantina like she owned the place, dancing to the rythm of the music from her speeder still faintly audible outside as the dust cloud slowly settled behind her.

Everything is calm upstairs, the atmosphere festive, when suddenly something catches my attention.

A crazy woman shows up on her speeder, a big cloud of smoke trailing behind her, music blasting at full volume.

Needless to say, all eyes are on her.

I look out the window to see who it is, and my eyes widen suddenly. What the hell is she doing here?

Wait, does Mistress seriously intend to give her accreditation? Am I going to have to collaborate on a sniper shot with that?

And on top of it, she's out here dancing like a maniac in the Cantina with her music blaring. What on earth is this demon?

Yeah, how can I put this... no, I don't think this is going to work. I head to the cabinet for some tranquilizers, but Mistress stops me.

"Mistress, are you serious right now? I hope for her sake that she has a solid dossier. I can't even sense an aura on her."

"You know, aura isn't everything. There are plenty of soldiers who fight without power. Be nice and go get her."

"At your command. Boss"
I stomp down the stairs, grumbling. I'm in a foul mood. And now that other degenerate shows up. Just what I needed.

I reach the bottom of the stairs and address her directly.

"Hey you, how about turning off the music on your speeder? The boss is waiting for you upstairs."

Once I deliver my orders, I head back up and storm into my office, slamming the door loudly enough to make Mistress sigh.

she shrugs as she watches Nyva Shei walk away.

"Killjoy" she thinks without obeying, instead, she aim for the boss office, whistling the air of the music blasting outside.

"Hello ! Lafi, at your service" she says, bowing ridiculously with a smile on her face. "Ready to blow up things for you, volontary or not" She burst in a laught.

"Seriously, I'm good with a sniper, and if you have some scraps, I can turn them into usefull things, I also LOVE to pilot things, like my little speeder outside, or my ship, or anything that needs a pilot. Especially if it have some big guns, goes fast, or better : both"

She smiles charmingly to Lyssara.
