Training - Willam has seen extensive training both in class and real world operations. He has advanced training in most forms of combat and warfare and has served for thirty years in command positions.
WEAKNESSES:
Cantankerious - Forlon is not a friendly sort. He is to the point and serious about most everything. He will not go out of his way to placate someone and is strict in his orders.
Military Brat - Forlon has been a part of the military for his entire life. He was the son of a military officer and because of it the military is all Forlon knows. It has cost him his family and most of his few friends outside the military and makes it hard for Willam to empathize with civilians.
APPEARANCE:
Forlon is the consummate officer rarly seen out of uniform. His attire is dependant on the role he must fill at the time. His standard uniform for every day wear is generally a Republic Marine MCCUU.
BIOGRAPHY: Willam Forlon was born to Joru and Nanc Forlon on the world of Denon. Joru had been an officer in the Denon Defense Force where he commanded a company of Defense Force troopers. The Forlon family moved from post to post around the world for the early years of Willams life. It was here he developed a love of travel and adventure. It was also here he was molded into a solider in training by his father.
Upon graduating primary school Willam joined the Denon Defense Force where he specialized in Anti-Assault and Siege tactics. After basic he was schooled in the tactica of these specilties then selected for Officer Canidates Training. His carreer as an officer of the Denon Defense Force was short and prestigious however. Willam wanted to travel and soldier and in the Denon army he saw very little of both.
Forlon enlisted in the Republic Military where he started from the bottom once again. HE worked his way though the Republics training and schools to once again be selected for officer training. He chose to server as a part of the Republics Marine Arm and was promoted to Lieutenant and then trained in special operations and covert tactics. Couple with his Siege and assault training, Forlon excelled in the Republic Marines and went through further training in Naval and Zero G training. He was promoted to major and transferred to special operations where he was trained further and given command of a special operations company. Here he server for seven year before being chosen for project Hammerfall.
His time with the project is a mass of redacted files and periods of unknown wearabouts. He and his team had worked from deep behind enemy lines where their operations were top secret and known only to exist by top level Military and Command personnel.
Forlon returned to the Republic Marines after twenty years in special operations having been promoted to colonel along the way. Here he worked to train new Marine forces to make up the Republics Naval Marine Force. After his team had trained the first line of Marines for the Navy His promotion to general and command of the newly formed Rapid Response Corps saw Forlon in the life he had always desired. He had traveled the galaxy for thirty years and seen much of what there was to see, both good and bad. He had seen war. Fighting on all scales from hand to hand against one or more enemies to the death of thousands in large scale warfare.
After the Battle of Roche and the removal of the previous Supreme Commander Forlon was chosen to fill the role as the highest ranking military officer of the Republic. Here he plans to make the Republic great again and defend it as best he can.
