The blade was passed down to the Nighthaunter during a pivotal moment in his life and has been with him ever since. The blue force imbued kyber crystal that is in the handle gives the rest of the sword a bluish hue. The vibration caused by the crystal makes the blade feel alive. It is said that the blade is only passed down to those that are worthy, and that the blade would torment those that were unworthy with voices and nightmares that would drive the user mad. The only person that has ever been considered worthy was it's original owner, so it plagues the Nighthaunter with visions of horrible futures. It is almost as if the blade can see into the wielders very soul.
