Specialized synthetic crystal that emits a lightsaber blade with an all blue core and aura that has a reduced glow and is completely silent. Color can be adjusted to a red blade with a reduced glow via a specialized lens attachment.
Strengths:
Multipurpose: This Lightsaber was designed explicitly with utility in mind, containing interesting modifications. It houses a kerestian light absorbing nodule, which creates darkness around the user in a ten meter radius, an experimental light increasing nodule that increases light in a fifteen meter radius around the user, hidden in the segment of the hilt closest to the emitter, and activated by twisting the segment they are both on. Its pommel houses a solar battery that provides power for a half hour of continuous use, after fifteen minutes exposure to the sun, in addition to normal saber charging methods.
Specialized grip attachments also come into play, including one with a small supply of electronics that when attached, disable the looping function on the blade, converting it to a weak laser pistol that has only seven shots, but emits reduced noise and glow. Others convert it to the body of a crossbow pistol. Another converts it into a grappling gun. In short, its excellent for unexpected moments, and can be converted in seconds to either of these other options, simply by removing the top half of the lightsaber in the latter two cases.
Stealthed: Emits a soft all blue blade whose color can be altered by adjusting the lens with a twist, turning it a soft all red. This is in case Alwine must operate in territory dominated primarily by enemy dark adepts. Its crystal has been fashioned in such a way as to eliminate all sound. The casing is also both thermal and scan resistant thanks to materials worked into the casing by Maple. It will not show up on any but the most sensitive military scans.
Rip And Tear: Anything not made of lightsaber resistant material is pretty much screwed.
Weaknesses:
Not water-proof: It shuts off if immersed in water.
Ion: It shuts off if hit with ion blasts
Sonic: Due to the way the crystal was fashioned, exposure to sonic will shut it off for three minutes
Cortosis: Pure Cortosis will shut off the blade for two minutes if exposed.
DESCRIPTION
WindWhisper is a recent creation of Maple Harte's designed for her new friend Alwine. Based off lightsabers Maple used as a Marksmen, and is yet another example of the stealth technology the defunct set of Jedi Shadows used in their weapons. This one was engineered to be completely silent, and even able to change color due to minor alterations to the lens and emitter, as well as convert to an emergency pistol. Capable of creating darkness or increasing light in confined spaces, WindWhisper is the melee weapon for the warrior who knows the importance of remaining undetected or being able to adapt on the fly as much or as long as possible.
