Private Winning is not Victory

The Inexhaustible
// Hangar Bay --- Bridge, HIMS Acclimation //
// Meet with a Subordinate //
// Captain Delilah Brujav //

Shock, confusion, and terror spread quickly through the officers and troopers stationed in the hangar bay of the Star Destroyer Acclimation as Thaelius exited his shuttle. They were jot aware of his arrival nor should they have been. His schedule was far above thier pay grade.

But eventually the emotions began to settle down and he was met with various salutes and introductions. He ignored them and began making his way to the Bridge. He could hear behind him, multiple sighs of relief.

As he entered, he began walking down the long walkway which connected the door to the main viewport of the warship. Once again, there was emotion but this time he rose his hand and said "Enough. Contuine to work." He then turned to the woman who captained the destoyer.

"Captain, a word"

When Delilah was informed that the Admiral himself would be arriving to speak with her, she has set about ensuring the route to the bridge was clear and that her men did their damnedest to triple check the status of the ship. Delilah had always worked to ensure that her ship was in tip top shape, but given the expectation of todays events it would be even more so.

She was a busy woman, or at least she liked to keep busy, so as the Admiral was entering onto her bridge, she was just finishing up an inspection of the crew rooster. Her head whirled to meet his gaze, as she was midway towards a salute before his words caught her. Snapping off the salute, Delilah turned to her subordinate and handed him a datapad. "Check in with the gunnery crew. They were complaining about missing parts for maintenance and I'm starting to suspect one of the arms masters is the cause." With that attended to, Delilah strided towards her superior, who for once wasn't shorter than herself. "Admiral?" She asked, taking a parade rest before the Chiss, pondering where this conversation would take them.

The Captain wasn't as talkative as he originally imagined but of couu for the past few months he had been surrounded by idiots, slowly rooting them out of the Armada for thier lack of imagination and their brutal way of administring "punishment for failure"

"You've exceeded all expections, Captain Brujav. Now tell me, how well do you know the New Imperial Armada?"

The tall Chiss Admiral turned directly to face the Captain. She was a perfect candidate for a command position within his over sector fleet. She didn't seem to be a fool nor did she exhibit any traits of a glory hound. So far, that is.
