SETTING INFORMATION

Accessibility:
Wintermoor Castle is isolated from any major city or outpost, and situated in th frozen tundra on Serenno. The area, which hosts winter-like conditions for three-fourths of the year, also adds a small defense aspect due to inclement weather; plus making it's accessibility difficult. The castle is closed off to the public, entrance by invite only.
Security:
The castle has the basic standard defense system, but it is guarded religiously by the Wintermoor Royal Guard.
Description:
At a glance, the castle is hard to spot due to it's location, and the continuous blizzards that plague the region. However, due to the inhabits being Sanguinius Vampirika - Vahla Hybrids the location is ideal for them.
The castle rests upon a plateau with three sides composed of icy, jagged rocks and a forest in the rear. To add to it's difficult spotting, the entire castle was constructed using bleached materials; which turned out to be snow-white in color. There is only one entrance to the castle, and that is only accessible by using the lone landing pad. The outside structure's texture is a polish sheen, and is continuously watered down to keep a build up of ice upon it; preventing and eliminating anyone or anything from actually scaling the walls.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The Grand Library of Knowledge: The library was constructed during the castle's early days. The library consists of thousands of original manuscripts and works from the galaxy's notable writers and philosophers from over the centuries, as well as copies of those whose original designs had been destroyed through the countless wars. There is no technology allowed inside the library.
The Great Banquet of Friendship: Originally when this was built, it had no name and was reserved for only those of the Venjuta Bloodline; and on occasion for entertaining select guests. However, over the centuries the banquet has been opened up to host several events ranging from entertaining delegates to hosting grand and elaborate balls.
The Soothing Heart: This location is a homage to artisans, painters, musicians, philosophers, and notable characters that have left a positive mark on the galaxy. In essence, it's similar to a museum where certain works of art are priced higher than some planet's value are housed. This location is off limits with the exception of any Venjuta.
Tombs of the Fallen: Underneath the castle, locked away and heavily guarded is the Tombs of the Fallen where any notable Venjuta noble is laid to rest. Only current nobles or families of resting nobles are permitted to visit the tombs.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
It is not known when the castle was originally created, but it was sometime around 1,500 BBY when Draxen Venjuta brought the covens together to form House Venjuta and finally unifying the species; creating the Venjuta Bloodline. Over the years, and under different ownership and different Counts, the castle underwent several modifications, upgrades, and designs to keep par with the galaxy; and the other noble Houses of Serenno. However, the concept of the original idea was always maintained; even if it meant spending credits to have artisans come in and work their creative magic.
The Grand Library of Knowledge was one of the first additions added after the first remodel. In lieu of the species that lived there, the library began to fill up quickly; forcing a second, then a third level to be added. It is the most prized room inside Wintermoor Castle. To keep the feeling of knowledge preserved, no technology is allowed inside the library; which led to certain materials and works to be translated from datapads, datacrons, and holocrons to papyrus-style tomes.
The Soothing Heart is a sight to behold, for those that appreciate the creative works from creative minds that brought measures of peace, tranquility, fascinations, political theories, theological theories, and other aspects to sooth and tame wild hearts. However, the room is forbidden to anyone not of the Bloodline, but exceptions have been known to be made.
As one of the oldest structures, still standing and never been razed, on Serenno; it has a historical ambiance to any that visit the castle. But those that are permitted to bear witness to the inside are through invite only.
