Strengths:
Longarm: Special machinery allows the blade to be adusted to any length under or up to two-and a half lightsaber blades.
Mercy: Special settings enable it to still cut through inanimate material while only hitting flesh with a neural stun effect. Otherwise, its lethal.
Enemy Territory: Special lens machinery turns its solid blue lightsaber to a solid red on the fly while operating in territory controlled by Dark Adepts.
Master's Favor: Traces of her Master's presence enable Laertia to better guide the lightsaber for telekinetic attacks, better sense incoming ranged threats, and its blade is incapable of harming her (or the person who made it.) and will not function for any but Laertia.
Weaknesses:
Anti lightsaber metals: Has trouble cutting through phrik, cortosis, and Beskar along with many other resistant materials. Pure Cortosis will shut it down for a few seconds.
Slugthrowers: Can't deflect bullets
Sonics: Can't deflect sonic bolts:
Voids: Will not function in voids
Synth: requires slightly more effort to control the gyroscopic effect in combat, and there is a chance it might short out in battle, requiring one to wait a few seconds before reactivating it.
DESCRIPTION
Ursula Sandraven very rarely wielded this single bladed lightsaber in battle, preferring her sabercane. However, Ursula did train Laertia in the saber throw using this weapon, and when Laertia received Ursula's letter, this was one of the gifts included in the package that the letter came with. Still desperately craving Ursula's approval even years seperated, Laertia instantly latched onto the weapon and has taken to keeping the weapon close by at all times. It is the crown of Laertia's saber collection.
