Professional Enabler
Intent: A material to use for future projects of Witch-crafting and alchemy.
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: Clan Rekali, The Witchmasters, Stargo Forge Works
Model: Witchmaster Tigerhide™
Affiliation: Clan Rekali, The Witchmasters, select allies and customers
Modularity: No
Production: Limited
Material: The hide of the black-pelted, Force-sensitive Hrosma Tiger of Baskarn (a world near Clan Rekali territory), treated according to a proprietary process.
Classification: Low-grade multipurpose (special function)
Weight: Tigerhide weighs as much as a normal pelt. A full-body suit of Tigerhide would weigh around 5kg.
Quality: By itself, the specially treated Hrosma tigerhide rates as a class 3. Its primary function is nor related to armour class.
Special Features:
All effects are proportional to the amount of Tigerhide being used. A suit of light armour made primarily of Tigerhide, for example, would offer decent bonuses to Force tracking. A vest or short cape would offer more modest bonuses. Witchmaster Tigerhide is not some transcendent Force artifact; it is merely derived from a moderately impressive creature, as such things are reckoned. It is a Force-sensitive tiger without the tiger attached.
Due to the rarity of the Hrosma Tiger, Witchmaster Tigerhide is only available in limited quantities. Its creation often serves as a test of hunting skill and Force-crafting skill. The same processes can apply to the Tiger's claws, teeth, horn, bone, etc., which are often included in the finished product for ornamental reasons. However, the focus of the process always remains on the pelt.

- Amplifies Sense-related Force powers, especially those related to tracking.
The Witchmasters' process allows the pelt to retain the Force aura of this long-lived apex predator. As a result, Witchmaster Tigerhide bolsters the wearer's Sense abilities, particularly with regard to tracking -- already a specialty of the Rekali clan. The hide also retains the memory of the Hrosma Tiger's ferocity and cruelty, which can influence the wearer. From a certain point of view, the Hrosma Tiger could be considered a creature of the Dark Side. It would be possible for those who wear the hide of the Hrosma Tiger to feel the same seduction toward ferocity as one feels when practicing Vaapad, or dabbling in Pelekotan arts. The Hrosma Tiger...tracks prey by sensing their Force "aura" in the jungle ahead and so cannot be thrown off a trail by crossing rivers or climbing trees...The Hrosma Tiger is a Force-sensitive hunter in the jungles of Baskarn. The creature is ferocious and cruel... There are very few of these creatures on the planet as they often fight and kill one another, though they have otherwise incredibly long life-spans, perhaps living for centuries. Nothing in the jungle hunts them. - "The Way of the Yrashu," SWAJ v.2 (1994): 160-161
