Hashira was angry...

He looked out across the empty void of space. Somewhere, deep in that void was him, the source of his pain. He had escaped recently, and more importantly with information regarding the location of the rogues. Hashira was saved by [member="Darth Carnifex"] and several of his allies including [member="Braith Achlys"] who stood next to him aboard the bridge of a Plague-Class Supercarrier. He turned to her after inputing several data points in the nav computer, arms folded and surprisingly calm.

''The location to their capital world is locked into your navigation computer.'' His eyes stared deep into her soul, observing her intentions and waiting for a response. Hashira had just met her and knew very little of her, but had a deep respect for her and Carnifex, both allies due to their acts of bravery. He made a note that one day, should they too need such help, he would grant it.

Kingdoms and principalities rose and fell regularly in the history of the galaxy, but not The Sith Empire. The Empire had existed for thousands of generations, and would continue to do so. Their target, however, would be but a footnote in the historian's personal journal, barely making enough difference to note. Should they ever be mentioned though, Hashira was no doubt be listed as their main cause of defeat.

He turned around to the other important figures on the bridge and observed them all carefully.

''Your courage does not go unnoticed...'' he said, sweeping his vision across everyone.

''Let these swords shed great amounts of blood. But be careful, a strike from one of these will as easily kill you as it will your enemies.'' Hashira handed out a blade to each on board including Braith. He turned to her next.

''Shall we be off?'' He grinned a wide, toothy grin.

Omerta

How many would this be? Ten? Fifty? A thousand?

The numbers mattered little - only that this was not the first man that claimed to be greater than the station he belonged to that she would be putting down, nor would it be the last. She tolerated the likes of Carnifex - her partner was, after all, his uncle - but there was no such reservations for the man that led the heterodoxy lurking just beyond Chiss space who made such boastful claims as he. The anger of the Sith that stood beside her was all the excuse she needed to personally see to the decimation of this man's ego - there was no greater teacher than failure, after all. The super carrier they flew through the empty expanse of space was capable of fielding over a dozen squadrons of fighters, but its purpose was simply to ferry the strike team to their target with its hangars filled with elite fighters that suited those that dotted the carrier's halls, and it carried them directly to the world plagued by the heterodoxy she had been tasked with extinguishing. She nodded casually at the Sith Lord's statement, her mind held in focus on the battle that was fast approaching.

Her pale skin was covered not by the metals of man, but by the very creatures that fed on the dark side of the force. Orbalisks clung tightly to her flesh, their golden carapaces adorning her flesh with a slight shimmer and an intimidating appearance of scales and spines, while her hair was tied tightly into a bun behind her head. She held a spear that rest lightly against her shoulder and the nape of her neck, a weapon crafted - as all things she carried with her - by no other being than herself. "Let's just get this over with." She said curtly in turn, stepping back to lean against a nearby wall. "I cannot imagine that this will take very long, considering I've never heard of this man before today." Braith noted. There was a hint of disappointment in her tone, her desire to meet real combat seeping into her attitude, as she made audible the belief that her target would not exceed her expectations for charlatans that used obscurity to grow in influence to compensate for a sheer lack of power and skill necessary to assert one's dominance.

She respectfully refused the sword handed to her, preferring to use weapons of her own design and creation, and walked towards the center of the bridge as Hashira proposed they make the jump to their target world. "We'll make the jump to hyperspace in one minute, I should remind everyone that this is a strike - we go in, we get out. You are responsible for any prolonged contact with the enemy - destroy what you have the time for, kill whoever you can, but once the order is given pull back out. I've secured a hangar full of elite fighters for this, and while they're superior to most things in the sky you will be without a hyperdrive - do not get left behind." She instructed, leaning against her polearm haphazardly. "Remember to radio in if the situation escalates - I will be happy to escalate the measure of force if necessary." Braith added with something of a grin, referring perhaps to a request for additional troops - or perhaps to her own tour de force.

Sith.

They were often so troublesome. They were consistent in their ways and hostilities, especially among each other. Fett had bore witness to more than enough Sith that were more than ready to destroy another for the sake of frivolous power, seizing a moment, or garnering a slither of respect for one's added reputation. It was ironic that Fett, of all, could consider such things troublesome and perhaps irritating. He was a Mandalorian, and if their recent reputation spoke of anything it was that they were mindlessly ready to kill one another, and as a Bounty Hunter it was his reputation that he cared for more than anything else. It didn't seem to matter much, least not now; he only needed to care for what Carnifex had paid him for. Whoever these rogues were they wouldn't be for much longer.

It was from behind his T-Visor that Fett watched, waited, listened, but did not speak. His thumb rest beneath the sling of his Carbine, allowing it to ease into the space between that and his index finger, and his other arm lay carelessly down by his side. His helmeted head idly shifted from left to right at the offering of a blade for he was hardly a melee combatant, accompanying it was the slightest of dismissive waves. Fett remained rather still, simply absorbing information required before being sent off.

This might have been a portion of the Galaxy he had yet seen, but the Emperor's reach didn't seem to have any limitations. There was certainly going to be no reason to return once they were finished. But, still, if the pay was good...

Hysteria

The debriefing was made and those aboard the ships moved towards their respective stations - some to the hangar for the fighters they would man, others to their appropriate areas of the bridge to maintain communications between the Empire and those that would be going down below. Braith, for her part, made her way to the hangar to fly down to the planet's surface upon their arrival. "Cue the jump to hyperspace, send a message to the standing fleet to prepare a retrieval team in case the situation calls for it." Braith said as she buckled herself into the cockpit of one of the fighters, speaking through the communications system of the smaller ship to the bridge. "Understood, a request has been made for a team to remain on standby in the case of an emergency. The jump to hyperspace will be executed in T minus fifteen seconds." Came a radioed response, muffled somewhat by the sound of the cockpit door closing with a hiss overhead.

"Warning, jump to hyperspace imminent. Leap in T-minus fourteen seconds."

An alarm blared momentarily after the broadcast warning, advising the crew and others aboard the carrier to secure themselves and prepare for the journey to their destination. "To those of you going planetside with me, we should be arriving in about a half hour if the forecasting was done right. The moment we exit hyperspace we should be directly over the planet's atmo - be ready to go the moment we arrive, we don't want to give the Jen'ari any room to get smart." She instructed, again making use of the fighter's communications system to broadcast to the crew and the other ships in the hangar. "I've secured a retrieval group in case the carrier needs to pull out after we drop and can't pick us up - the thing is huge and pretty well defended, but it isn't exactly a siege vessel." She said as she leaned her head back against the seat and braced herself.

"Warning, jump to hyperspace imminent. Leap in T-minus two seconds."

She breathed, waiting, and then they were gone.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
To say that Shan was excited was kind of an understatement. She was tasked at one point with fighting the darkness one on one, but since [member="Taeli Raaf"] had showed the New Jedi Order true power? It wasn’t much to convince the blonde to make her way into the Sith Empire. It wasn’t necessarily a religious thing, but the Sith were showing the galaxy what true power was. And the Dark Jedi could reflect that. Maybe not as well learned as the rest of the colleagues, the Sith, she had a few things she was really good at.

She had known this part of the galaxy through stories, but never in person. Aboard the super-carrier, she was approaching one of the shuttles. She knew of the briefing. Did she pay attention?

No. That really wasn’t her style. She had the Force, and a unit of soldiers around her. She would be fine no matter what they wanted. The blonde would be fine taking down more Sith, or… y’know, however. Jenn? Maybe that was the name. Was she the most intelligent?

No.

Headstrong, and fueled by a weird rage of purpose, she was ready though. The shuttles would drop with the fighters to make sure she got to where she was needed. Until then? It was a waiting game.
