Elara watched, her master had gotten several new toys to play with and from Krayt the apprentice... now lord Taeli had created her something. Gauntlets and attachments for her armor... her already sizable armor that were scary in their own rite. Elara watched the massive zeltron holding the Asherian shield on one arm as well as her saberwhip gauntlets. Better versions then the ones she used in her hands and more dangerous these would give her more access to gadgets and weapons if used the right way. She'd have for a time an open opportunity to use them. The shield could be used to replace her lavenrok with its motor and utility while the four horsewomen around her moved. Elara the fifth to add to their opponents and test their master.

The five kept moving, kept circling as Elara held the faithful's blade up, the slashing whip striking against it as the sith sword protected against it. The sizzling while the second whip went over her head. She looked at the horsewomen who were moving and now she watched the slicer working. She had been proving a difficult one, with her tech skills unmatched but her combat lacking. Instead she was testing other equipment, microscopic photokintic crystals designed to work with electrical impulses on the suit to bend the light. Her tech armor using hardlight and hacking systems. The one with vong enhancements had her special armor with all of its reflec and electromesh. The matukai was using none yet and the soldier had more skill while she used the blade. Something that was going to be tested and worked on to be an alchemical blade to slice through wires.

The sizzling continued as Elara watched her masters whip get caught on the alchemical blade. The strength the girl used to try and keep standing while her master pulled was enough to hopefully stay on the ground as they started to attack. With the line held in place, the matukai and soldier moved in to strike at the armor as Elara watched her master use the shield. The buzzing blades of it catching the knife Aex used, then sending it away before she swung the other whip around to lash at all of their feet. Elara jumping like the others at the last moment almost before it could slice her feet off.

Taeli had heard, through the grapevine, that her master was testing the first gauntlets created for her, the lightwhip ones that Taeli had developed for Sector V and she was curious to see how they worked. Arriving at her master's private sparring session, she could hear the snap and crackle of energy as the whips were used.

Looking down into her satchel, she thought it might be a good time to familiarize herself with using the shoto.

"Master," she said, announcing her presence, bowing slightly. She might be a Lord now, or as she preferred being called Lady, Darth Praelior was still a Voice of the Dark Lord and thus still outranked her. The Horsewomen were there, along with Elara, and she was reminded she needed to develop the other three armors soon.

Elara looked as she saw Arcanix and tripped up for a moment while the sword came away. The whip loosening as Balaya repulsed the others back and the shield stopped spinning around. Her soldier Alex standing there with the combat knife while she was moving off to make some room for the newest lord within the ranks of the one sith. "Welcome Arcanix, these gauntlets have been proving effective." Elara had to agree while she pulled the blade to her hands with the force and her master was standing with the other four women. "We are also testing out the armor for Famine. Photosensitive microscopic crystals are more effective for a tech and hacker with the electronic impulses able to switch its abilities.".

"Very interesting, master, and I'm pleased the gauntlets are working effectively," Taeli said with a smile as she withdrew her primary lightsaber, then pulled out her electrum coated shoto. "You don't mind if I get in some practice myself, need to get used to dual-wielding and not just using my spinning saber."

As she spoke, she realized no one here had actually witnessed the spinning blades yet in person, but they may have heard about it from others. Perhaps a demonstration later, but for now, she ignited both lightsabers, her normal one glowing a bright crimson while her shoto used a purple-red synthcrystal for now. The testing of the crystal coating also gave Taeli an idea for some additional equipment for Famine.

Elara looked at her master who gave a small shrug to it. Neither was opposed to the idea of fighting or having Arcanix participate. If anything it would make the training and practice go faster with more of them there. Elara watch Balaya deactivate and retract the whips while she held her hands up checking them. "Yes you should practice with them, it is better that you know your product." Elara had a few ideas as well while she was looking over the equipment. Elara moved out of the way when she heard the sound of the blade spinning again, her master took aim and firded the spinning disc downrange while the fiber cord allowed her to grab it and pull flinging it around into a target.

Taeli ignited both lightsabers, getting the feel of her new shoto in her hand. She had designed it to be slightly shorter than a standard shoto, as it was supposed to be for counter-stab or parry opportunity. As Taeli engaged the whips, she was forced to keep on her toes and defensive stance as she was forcing herself to block and stop the whip blades coming at her.

Tangling one up on her main lightsaber, she took a chunk of the solid strand off before having to dodge the energy strand. She hissed in pain as part of the lightwhip nicked her shoulder then again as it nicked her thigh. Maybe she had designed those a bit too well, she thought, as she went full on defense again.

Elara moved, her body folding up to jump over one of he whips as it came around and she held the blade. Her master knew how to use the weapons normally, freeinging her hands and making it so she could concentrate on more tricks and gadgets. The apprentice was moving when she stopped and saw it, the whip sworking in mid air before slapping down onto her hand while she lept back losing the blade again. Taeli was defending as well and she could feel the power of it while she nursed her hand close to her chest. The horsewomen were moving now as well to cover each other.

Yes, she had designed those gauntlets far too well, she thought as she hissed in pain as one of the solid strands slashed across her side. Grimacing, she brought her shoto down on the offending strand and severed it. Elara and the Horsewomen weren't fairing much better against their master, she was certainly learning the whip gauntlets quickly.

Luckily, she was getting better with her double blades and in the technique of tangling the strands on her main weapon to shred the physical strands. It was a very good thing she understood swordplay so much from her time on the fencing team and fighting in battles now.

Elara watched her master and was understanding more what to do while she watched Arcanix, she had a few ideas of how to better handle the lashes but that didn't mean much.. it was still a thing that you needed to have care and respect for. When her master stopped and deactivated the whips speaking to them... A grin on her face more then theirs she had to admit she felt stronger for it. "These are perfect and I doubt many will see them coming or know how to counter them. From observations the jedi only focus on a few things at once."

"I'm glad you approve master," Taeli said with a smile, deactivating her sabers. "They are a rather fun piece of technology, and I enjoyed doing the design myself."

She knew the Jedi could only focus on a few things at a time, and many didn't carry two blade to fight against the lightwhip. This new weapon would be very problematic for anyone who fought against those that had training in the gauntlets. Lucky her, she had the forethought to make a shoto while she built these, almost like she wanted to be ready for anything or any situation.

Elara looked at her master and had a grin on her face while they were dismissed from the room. She moved with the forsewomen who stood at the ready checking their equipment but also they had their own while she was stretching. "Well that was fun." The sights of the other four had smiles on their faces while they were securing their equipment. The day was done and she could return to her studies.
